وَلِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۗ وَلَقَدْ وَصَّيْنَا الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَاِيَّاكُمْ اَنِ اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ ۗوَاِنْ تَكْفُرُوْا فَاِنَّ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۗ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ غَنِيًّا حَمِيْدًا ١٣١
- walillahi
- وَلِلَّهِ
- And for Allah
- mā
- مَا
- (is) whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِۗ
- the earth
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And surely
- waṣṣaynā
- وَصَّيْنَا
- We have instructed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ūtū
- أُوتُوا۟
- were given
- l-kitāba
- ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
- the Book
- min
- مِن
- from
- qablikum
- قَبْلِكُمْ
- before you
- wa-iyyākum
- وَإِيَّاكُمْ
- and yourselves
- ani
- أَنِ
- that
- ittaqū
- ٱتَّقُوا۟
- you fear
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَۚ
- Allah
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- But if
- takfurū
- تَكْفُرُوا۟
- you disbelieve
- fa-inna
- فَإِنَّ
- then indeed
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- for Allah
- mā
- مَا
- (is) whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِۚ
- the earth
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- And is
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- ghaniyyan
- غَنِيًّا
- Free of need
- ḥamīdan
- حَمِيدًا
- Praiseworthy
And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And We have instructed those who were given the Scripture before you and yourselves to fear Allah. But if you disbelieve – then to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah Free of need and Praiseworthy. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 131)Tafsir
وَلِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِ ۗوَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ وَكِيْلًا ١٣٢
- walillahi
- وَلِلَّهِ
- And for Allah
- mā
- مَا
- (is) whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِۚ
- the earth
- wakafā
- وَكَفَىٰ
- And is sufficient
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- wakīlan
- وَكِيلًا
- (as) a Disposer of affairs
And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 132)Tafsir
اِنْ يَّشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ اَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِاٰخَرِيْنَۗ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ قَدِيْرًا ١٣٣
- in
- إِن
- If
- yasha
- يَشَأْ
- He wills
- yudh'hib'kum
- يُذْهِبْكُمْ
- He can take you away
- ayyuhā
- أَيُّهَا
- O
- l-nāsu
- ٱلنَّاسُ
- people
- wayati
- وَيَأْتِ
- and bring
- biākharīna
- بِـَٔاخَرِينَۚ
- others
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- And is
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- over
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- qadīran
- قَدِيرًا
- All-Powerful
If He wills, He can do away with you, O people, and bring others [in your place]. And ever is Allah competent to do that. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 133)Tafsir
مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيْدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا فَعِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ثَوَابُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ۗوَكَانَ اللّٰهُ سَمِيْعًاۢ بَصِيْرًا ࣖ ١٣٤
- man
- مَّن
- Whoever
- kāna
- كَانَ
- [is]
- yurīdu
- يُرِيدُ
- desires
- thawāba
- ثَوَابَ
- reward
- l-dun'yā
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- (of) the world
- faʿinda
- فَعِندَ
- then with
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- thawābu
- ثَوَابُ
- (is the) reward
- l-dun'yā
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- (of) the world
- wal-ākhirati
- وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِۚ
- and the Hereafter
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- And is
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- samīʿan
- سَمِيعًۢا
- All-Hearing
- baṣīran
- بَصِيرًا
- All-Seeing
Whoever desires the reward of this world – then with Allah is the reward of this world and the Hereafter. And ever is Allah Hearing and Seeing. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 134)Tafsir
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا كُوْنُوْا قَوَّامِيْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاۤءَ لِلّٰهِ وَلَوْ عَلٰٓى اَنْفُسِكُمْ اَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْاَقْرَبِيْنَ ۚ اِنْ يَّكُنْ غَنِيًّا اَوْ فَقِيْرًا فَاللّٰهُ اَوْلٰى بِهِمَاۗ فَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا الْهَوٰٓى اَنْ تَعْدِلُوْا ۚ وَاِنْ تَلْوٗٓا اَوْ تُعْرِضُوْا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرًا ١٣٥
- yāayyuhā
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O you
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe[d]!
- kūnū
- كُونُوا۟
- Be
- qawwāmīna
- قَوَّٰمِينَ
- custodians
- bil-qis'ṭi
- بِٱلْقِسْطِ
- of justice
- shuhadāa
- شُهَدَآءَ
- (as) witnesses
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- to Allah
- walaw
- وَلَوْ
- even if
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰٓ
- (it is) against
- anfusikum
- أَنفُسِكُمْ
- yourselves
- awi
- أَوِ
- or
- l-wālidayni
- ٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ
- the parents
- wal-aqrabīna
- وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَۚ
- and the relatives
- in
- إِن
- if
- yakun
- يَكُنْ
- he be
- ghaniyyan
- غَنِيًّا
- rich
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- faqīran
- فَقِيرًا
- poor
- fal-lahu
- فَٱللَّهُ
- for Allah
- awlā
- أَوْلَىٰ
- (is) nearer
- bihimā
- بِهِمَاۖ
- to both of them
- falā
- فَلَا
- So (do) not
- tattabiʿū
- تَتَّبِعُوا۟
- follow
- l-hawā
- ٱلْهَوَىٰٓ
- the desire
- an
- أَن
- lest
- taʿdilū
- تَعْدِلُوا۟ۚ
- you deviate
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- And if
- talwū
- تَلْوُۥٓا۟
- you distort
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- tuʿ'riḍū
- تُعْرِضُوا۟
- refrain
- fa-inna
- فَإِنَّ
- then indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- bimā
- بِمَا
- of what
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- you do
- khabīran
- خَبِيرًا
- All-Aware
O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, of what you do, Aware. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 135)Tafsir
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اٰمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ وَالْكِتٰبِ الَّذِيْ نَزَّلَ عَلٰى رَسُوْلِهٖ وَالْكِتٰبِ الَّذِيْٓ اَنْزَلَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗوَمَنْ يَّكْفُرْ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَلٰۤىِٕكَتِهٖ وَكُتُبِهٖ وَرُسُلِهٖ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلٰلًا ۢ بَعِيْدًا ١٣٦
- yāayyuhā
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O you
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوٓا۟
- believe[d]!
- āminū
- ءَامِنُوا۟
- Believe
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- in Allah
- warasūlihi
- وَرَسُولِهِۦ
- and His Messenger
- wal-kitābi
- وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- and the Book
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- which
- nazzala
- نَزَّلَ
- He revealed
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- upon
- rasūlihi
- رَسُولِهِۦ
- His Messenger
- wal-kitābi
- وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- and the Book
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِىٓ
- which
- anzala
- أَنزَلَ
- He revealed
- min
- مِن
- from
- qablu
- قَبْلُۚ
- before
- waman
- وَمَن
- And whoever
- yakfur
- يَكْفُرْ
- disbelieves
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- in Allah
- wamalāikatihi
- وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ
- and His Angels
- wakutubihi
- وَكُتُبِهِۦ
- and His Books
- warusulihi
- وَرُسُلِهِۦ
- and His Messengers
- wal-yawmi
- وَٱلْيَوْمِ
- and the Day
- l-ākhiri
- ٱلْءَاخِرِ
- the Last
- faqad
- فَقَدْ
- then surely
- ḍalla
- ضَلَّ
- he (has) lost (the) way
- ḍalālan
- ضَلَٰلًۢا
- straying
- baʿīdan
- بَعِيدًا
- far away
O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 136)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوْا ثُمَّ اٰمَنُوْا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوْا ثُمَّ ازْدَادُوْا كُفْرًا لَّمْ يَكُنِ اللّٰهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلَا لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ سَبِيْلًاۗ ١٣٧
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believed
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- (again) believed
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- iz'dādū
- ٱزْدَادُوا۟
- increased
- kuf'ran
- كُفْرًا
- (in) disbelief -
- lam
- لَّمْ
- not
- yakuni
- يَكُنِ
- will
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- liyaghfira
- لِيَغْفِرَ
- forgive
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- [for] them
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- liyahdiyahum
- لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ
- will guide them
- sabīlan
- سَبِيلًۢا
- (to) a (right) way
Indeed, those who have believed then disbelieved, then believed then disbelieved, and then increased in disbelief – never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a way. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 137)Tafsir
بَشِّرِ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ بِاَنَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًاۙ ١٣٨
- bashiri
- بَشِّرِ
- Give tidings
- l-munāfiqīna
- ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ
- (to) the hypocrites
- bi-anna
- بِأَنَّ
- that
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ʿadhāban
- عَذَابًا
- (is) a punishment
- alīman
- أَلِيمًا
- painful -
Give tidings to the hypocrites that there is for them a painful punishment – (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 138)Tafsir
ۨالَّذِيْنَ يَتَّخِذُوْنَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ اَوْلِيَاۤءَ مِنْ دُوْنِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۗ اَيَبْتَغُوْنَ عِنْدَهُمُ الْعِزَّةَ فَاِنَّ الْعِزَّةَ لِلّٰهِ جَمِيْعًاۗ ١٣٩
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- yattakhidhūna
- يَتَّخِذُونَ
- take
- l-kāfirīna
- ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- the disbelievers
- awliyāa
- أَوْلِيَآءَ
- (as) allies
- min
- مِن
- (from)
- dūni
- دُونِ
- instead of
- l-mu'minīna
- ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَۚ
- the believers
- ayabtaghūna
- أَيَبْتَغُونَ
- Do they seek
- ʿindahumu
- عِندَهُمُ
- with them
- l-ʿizata
- ٱلْعِزَّةَ
- the honor?
- fa-inna
- فَإِنَّ
- But indeed
- l-ʿizata
- ٱلْعِزَّةَ
- the honor
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- (is) for Allah
- jamīʿan
- جَمِيعًا
- all
Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honor [through power]? But indeed, honor belongs to Allah entirely. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 139)Tafsir
وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِى الْكِتٰبِ اَنْ اِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَاُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقْعُدُوْا مَعَهُمْ حَتّٰى يَخُوْضُوْا فِيْ حَدِيْثٍ غَيْرِهٖٓ ۖ اِنَّكُمْ اِذًا مِّثْلُهُمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ جَامِعُ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ وَالْكٰفِرِيْنَ فِيْ جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيْعًاۙ ١٤٠

- وَقَدْ
- And surely
- nazzala
- نَزَّلَ
- He has revealed
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- to you
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- the Book
- an
- أَنْ
- that
- idhā
- إِذَا
- when
- samiʿ'tum
- سَمِعْتُمْ
- you hear
- āyāti
- ءَايَٰتِ
- (the) Verses
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- yuk'faru
- يُكْفَرُ
- being rejected
- bihā
- بِهَا
- [it]
- wayus'tahza-u
- وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ
- and ridiculed
- bihā
- بِهَا
- at [it]
- falā
- فَلَا
- then do not
- taqʿudū
- تَقْعُدُوا۟
- sit
- maʿahum
- مَعَهُمْ
- with them
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- yakhūḍū
- يَخُوضُوا۟
- they engage
- fī
- فِى
- in
- ḥadīthin
- حَدِيثٍ
- a conversation
- ghayrihi
- غَيْرِهِۦٓۚ
- other than that
- innakum
- إِنَّكُمْ
- Indeed you
- idhan
- إِذًا
- then
- mith'luhum
- مِّثْلُهُمْۗ
- (would be) like them
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- jāmiʿu
- جَامِعُ
- will gather
- l-munāfiqīna
- ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ
- the hypocrites
- wal-kāfirīna
- وَٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- and the disbelievers
- fī
- فِى
- in
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَ
- Hell
- jamīʿan
- جَمِيعًا
- all together
And it has already come down to you in the Book [i.e., the Quran] that when you hear the verses of Allah [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them. Indeed, Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together – (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 140)Tafsir
