لَا ظَلِيْلٍ وَّلَا يُغْنِيْ مِنَ اللَّهَبِۗ ٣١
- lā
- لَّا
- No
- ẓalīlin
- ظَلِيلٍ
- cool shade
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- yugh'nī
- يُغْنِى
- availing
- mina
- مِنَ
- against
- l-lahabi
- ٱللَّهَبِ
- the flame
[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 31)Tafsir
32
اِنَّهَا تَرْمِيْ بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِۚ ٣٢
- innahā
- إِنَّهَا
- Indeed it
- tarmī
- تَرْمِى
- throws up
- bishararin
- بِشَرَرٍ
- sparks
- kal-qaṣri
- كَٱلْقَصْرِ
- as the fortress
Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 32)Tafsir
33
كَاَنَّهٗ جِمٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌۗ ٣٣
- ka-annahu
- كَأَنَّهُۥ
- As if they (were)
- jimālatun
- جِمَٰلَتٌ
- camels
- ṣuf'run
- صُفْرٌ
- yellow
As if they were yellowish [black] camels. (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 33)Tafsir
34
وَيْلٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِيْنَ ٣٤
- waylun
- وَيْلٌ
- Woe
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that Day
- lil'mukadhibīna
- لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
- to the deniers
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 34)Tafsir
35
هٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنْطِقُوْنَۙ ٣٥
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- This
- yawmu
- يَوْمُ
- (is) a Day
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yanṭiqūna
- يَنطِقُونَ
- they will speak
This is a Day they will not speak, (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 35)Tafsir
36
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُوْنَ ٣٦
- walā
- وَلَا
- And not
- yu'dhanu
- يُؤْذَنُ
- will it be permitted
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- fayaʿtadhirūna
- فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
- to make excuses
Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 36)Tafsir
37
وَيْلٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِيْنَ ٣٧
- waylun
- وَيْلٌ
- Woe
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that Day
- lil'mukadhibīna
- لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
- to the deniers
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 37)Tafsir
38
هٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنٰكُمْ وَالْاَوَّلِيْنَ ٣٨
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- This
- yawmu
- يَوْمُ
- (is the) Day
- l-faṣli
- ٱلْفَصْلِۖ
- (of) Judgment;
- jamaʿnākum
- جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ
- We have gathered you
- wal-awalīna
- وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
- and the former (people)
This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 38)Tafsir
39
فَاِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيْدُوْنِ ٣٩
- fa-in
- فَإِن
- So if
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- for you
- kaydun
- كَيْدٌ
- a plan
- fakīdūni
- فَكِيدُونِ
- then plan against Me
So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 39)Tafsir
40
وَيْلٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِيْنَ ࣖ ٤٠
- waylun
- وَيْلٌ
- Woe
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that Day
- lil'mukadhibīna
- لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
- to the deniers
