اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوْا نَصِيْبًا مِّنَ الْكِتٰبِ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْجِبْتِ وَالطَّاغُوْتِ وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ لِلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ اَهْدٰى مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا سَبِيْلًا ٥١
- alam
- أَلَمْ
- Do not
- tara
- تَرَ
- you see
- ilā
- إِلَى
- [towards]
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ūtū
- أُوتُوا۟
- were given
- naṣīban
- نَصِيبًا
- a portion
- mina
- مِّنَ
- of
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- the Book?
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- They believe
- bil-jib'ti
- بِٱلْجِبْتِ
- in the superstition
- wal-ṭāghūti
- وَٱلطَّٰغُوتِ
- and the false deities
- wayaqūlūna
- وَيَقُولُونَ
- and they say
- lilladhīna
- لِلَّذِينَ
- for those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve[d]
- hāulāi
- هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
- "These
- ahdā
- أَهْدَىٰ
- (are) better guided
- mina
- مِنَ
- than
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe[d]
- sabīlan
- سَبِيلًا
- (as to the) way
Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, who believe in jibt [superstition] and Taghut [false objects of worship] and say about the disbelievers, "These are better guided than the believers as to the way"? (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 51)Tafsir
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَعَنَهُمُ اللّٰهُ ۗوَمَنْ يَّلْعَنِ اللّٰهُ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهٗ نَصِيْرًا ٥٢
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (are) the ones
- laʿanahumu
- لَعَنَهُمُ
- (who have been) cursed
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُۖ
- (by) Allah
- waman
- وَمَن
- and whoever
- yalʿani
- يَلْعَنِ
- (is) cursed
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- (by) Allah
- falan
- فَلَن
- then never
- tajida
- تَجِدَ
- will you find
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- for him
- naṣīran
- نَصِيرًا
- (any) helper
Those are the ones whom Allah has cursed; and he whom Allah curses – never will you find for him a helper. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 52)Tafsir
اَمْ لَهُمْ نَصِيْبٌ مِّنَ الْمُلْكِ فَاِذًا لَّا يُؤْتُوْنَ النَّاسَ نَقِيْرًاۙ ٥٣
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- naṣībun
- نَصِيبٌ
- (is) a share
- mina
- مِّنَ
- of
- l-mul'ki
- ٱلْمُلْكِ
- the Kingdom?
- fa-idhan
- فَإِذًا
- Then
- lā
- لَّا
- not would
- yu'tūna
- يُؤْتُونَ
- they give
- l-nāsa
- ٱلنَّاسَ
- the people
- naqīran
- نَقِيرًا
- (even as much as the) speck on a date seed
Or have they a share of dominion? Then [if that were so], they would not give the people [even as much as] the speck on a date seed. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 53)Tafsir
اَمْ يَحْسُدُوْنَ النَّاسَ عَلٰى مَآ اٰتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖۚ فَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَآ اٰلَ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَاٰتَيْنٰهُمْ مُّلْكًا عَظِيْمًا ٥٤
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- yaḥsudūna
- يَحْسُدُونَ
- are they jealous
- l-nāsa
- ٱلنَّاسَ
- (of) the people
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- for
- mā
- مَآ
- what
- ātāhumu
- ءَاتَىٰهُمُ
- gave them
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- min
- مِن
- from
- faḍlihi
- فَضْلِهِۦۖ
- His Bounty?
- faqad
- فَقَدْ
- But surely
- ātaynā
- ءَاتَيْنَآ
- We gave
- āla
- ءَالَ
- (the) family
- ib'rāhīma
- إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
- (of) Ibrahim
- l-kitāba
- ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
- the Book
- wal-ḥik'mata
- وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ
- and [the] wisdom
- waātaynāhum
- وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُم
- and [We] gave them
- mul'kan
- مُّلْكًا
- a kingdom
- ʿaẓīman
- عَظِيمًا
- great
Or do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? But We had already given the family of Abraham the Scripture and wisdom and conferred upon them a great kingdom. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 54)Tafsir
فَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ اٰمَنَ بِهٖ وَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ صَدَّ عَنْهُ ۗ وَكَفٰى بِجَهَنَّمَ سَعِيْرًا ٥٥
- famin'hum
- فَمِنْهُم
- Then of them
- man
- مَّنْ
- (are some) who
- āmana
- ءَامَنَ
- believed
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- in him
- wamin'hum
- وَمِنْهُم
- and of them
- man
- مَّن
- (are some) who
- ṣadda
- صَدَّ
- turned away
- ʿanhu
- عَنْهُۚ
- from him
- wakafā
- وَكَفَىٰ
- and sufficient
- bijahannama
- بِجَهَنَّمَ
- (is) Hell
- saʿīran
- سَعِيرًا
- (as a) Blazing Fire
And some among them believed in it, and some among them were averse to it. And sufficient is Hell as a blaze. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 55)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا سَوْفَ نُصْلِيْهِمْ نَارًاۗ كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتْ جُلُوْدُهُمْ بَدَّلْنٰهُمْ جُلُوْدًا غَيْرَهَا لِيَذُوْقُوا الْعَذَابَۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَزِيْزًا حَكِيْمًا ٥٦
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- biāyātinā
- بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
- in Our Signs
- sawfa
- سَوْفَ
- soon
- nuṣ'līhim
- نُصْلِيهِمْ
- We will burn them
- nāran
- نَارًا
- (in) a Fire
- kullamā
- كُلَّمَا
- Every time
- naḍijat
- نَضِجَتْ
- are roasted
- julūduhum
- جُلُودُهُم
- their skins
- baddalnāhum
- بَدَّلْنَٰهُمْ
- We will change their
- julūdan
- جُلُودًا
- skins
- ghayrahā
- غَيْرَهَا
- for other (than) that
- liyadhūqū
- لِيَذُوقُوا۟
- so that they may taste
- l-ʿadhāba
- ٱلْعَذَابَۗ
- the punishment
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- ʿazīzan
- عَزِيزًا
- All-Mighty
- ḥakīman
- حَكِيمًا
- All-Wise
Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses – We will drive them into a fire. Every time their skins are roasted through, We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 56)Tafsir
وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَبَدًاۗ لَهُمْ فِيْهَآ اَزْوَاجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ ۙ وَّنُدْخِلُهُمْ ظِلًّا ظَلِيْلًا ٥٧
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe[d]
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and did
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- the good deeds
- sanud'khiluhum
- سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ
- We will admit them
- jannātin
- جَنَّٰتٍ
- (in) Gardens
- tajrī
- تَجْرِى
- flows
- min
- مِن
- from
- taḥtihā
- تَحْتِهَا
- underneath it
- l-anhāru
- ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
- the rivers
- khālidīna
- خَٰلِدِينَ
- will abide
- fīhā
- فِيهَآ
- in it
- abadan
- أَبَدًاۖ
- forever
- lahum
- لَّهُمْ
- For them
- fīhā
- فِيهَآ
- in it
- azwājun
- أَزْوَٰجٌ
- (are) spouses
- muṭahharatun
- مُّطَهَّرَةٌۖ
- pure
- wanud'khiluhum
- وَنُدْخِلُهُمْ
- and We will admit them
- ẓillan
- ظِلًّا
- (in the) shade
- ẓalīlan
- ظَلِيلًا
- thick
But those who believe and do righteous deeds – We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. For them therein are purified spouses, and We will admit them to deepening shade. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 57)Tafsir
۞ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ اَنْ تُؤَدُّوا الْاَمٰنٰتِ اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهَاۙ وَاِذَا حَكَمْتُمْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ اَنْ تَحْكُمُوْا بِالْعَدْلِ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ نِعِمَّا يَعِظُكُمْ بِهٖ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ سَمِيْعًاۢ بَصِيْرًا ٥٨
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- yamurukum
- يَأْمُرُكُمْ
- orders you
- an
- أَن
- to
- tu-addū
- تُؤَدُّوا۟
- render
- l-amānāti
- ٱلْأَمَٰنَٰتِ
- the trusts
- ilā
- إِلَىٰٓ
- to
- ahlihā
- أَهْلِهَا
- their owners
- wa-idhā
- وَإِذَا
- and when
- ḥakamtum
- حَكَمْتُم
- you judge
- bayna
- بَيْنَ
- between
- l-nāsi
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- the people
- an
- أَن
- to
- taḥkumū
- تَحْكُمُوا۟
- judge
- bil-ʿadli
- بِٱلْعَدْلِۚ
- with justice
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- niʿimmā
- نِعِمَّا
- excellently
- yaʿiẓukum
- يَعِظُكُم
- advises you
- bihi
- بِهِۦٓۗ
- with it
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- samīʿan
- سَمِيعًۢا
- All-Hearing
- baṣīran
- بَصِيرًا
- All-Seeing
Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 58)Tafsir
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اَطِيْعُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوا الرَّسُوْلَ وَاُولِى الْاَمْرِ مِنْكُمْۚ فَاِنْ تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِيْ شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوْهُ اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَالرَّسُوْلِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِۗ ذٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَّاَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيْلًا ࣖ ٥٩
- yāayyuhā
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O you
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوٓا۟
- believe[d]!
- aṭīʿū
- أَطِيعُوا۟
- Obey
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- wa-aṭīʿū
- وَأَطِيعُوا۟
- and obey
- l-rasūla
- ٱلرَّسُولَ
- the Messenger
- wa-ulī
- وَأُو۟لِى
- and those
- l-amri
- ٱلْأَمْرِ
- (having) authority
- minkum
- مِنكُمْۖ
- among you
- fa-in
- فَإِن
- Then if
- tanāzaʿtum
- تَنَٰزَعْتُمْ
- you disagree
- fī
- فِى
- in
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- anything
- faruddūhu
- فَرُدُّوهُ
- refer it
- ilā
- إِلَى
- to
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- wal-rasūli
- وَٱلرَّسُولِ
- and the Messenger
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you
- tu'minūna
- تُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- in Allah
- wal-yawmi
- وَٱلْيَوْمِ
- and the Day
- l-ākhiri
- ٱلْءَاخِرِۚ
- [the] Last
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- khayrun
- خَيْرٌ
- (is) best
- wa-aḥsanu
- وَأَحْسَنُ
- and more suitable
- tawīlan
- تَأْوِيلًا
- (for final) determination
O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 59)Tafsir
اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ يَزْعُمُوْنَ اَنَّهُمْ اٰمَنُوْا بِمَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ وَمَآ اُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ يُرِيْدُوْنَ اَنْ يَّتَحَاكَمُوْٓا اِلَى الطَّاغُوْتِ وَقَدْ اُمِرُوْٓا اَنْ يَّكْفُرُوْا بِهٖ ۗوَيُرِيْدُ الشَّيْطٰنُ اَنْ يُّضِلَّهُمْ ضَلٰلًا ۢ بَعِيْدًا ٦٠
- alam
- أَلَمْ
- Do not
- tara
- تَرَ
- you see
- ilā
- إِلَى
- [towards]
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- yazʿumūna
- يَزْعُمُونَ
- claim
- annahum
- أَنَّهُمْ
- that they
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe
- bimā
- بِمَآ
- in what
- unzila
- أُنزِلَ
- (is) revealed
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَ
- to you
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- and what
- unzila
- أُنزِلَ
- was revealed
- min
- مِن
- from?
- qablika
- قَبْلِكَ
- before you?
- yurīdūna
- يُرِيدُونَ
- They wish
- an
- أَن
- to
- yataḥākamū
- يَتَحَاكَمُوٓا۟
- go for judgment
- ilā
- إِلَى
- to
- l-ṭāghūti
- ٱلطَّٰغُوتِ
- the false deities
- waqad
- وَقَدْ
- and surely
- umirū
- أُمِرُوٓا۟
- they were ordered
- an
- أَن
- to
- yakfurū
- يَكْفُرُوا۟
- reject
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- [with] it
- wayurīdu
- وَيُرِيدُ
- And wishes
- l-shayṭānu
- ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
- the Shaitaan
- an
- أَن
- to
- yuḍillahum
- يُضِلَّهُمْ
- mislead them
- ḍalālan
- ضَلَٰلًۢا
- astray
- baʿīdan
- بَعِيدًا
- far away
Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 60)Tafsir
