اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُوْمِ ٨١
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- Until
- yawmi
- يَوْمِ
- (the) Day
- l-waqti
- ٱلْوَقْتِ
- (of) the time
- l-maʿlūmi
- ٱلْمَعْلُومِ
- well-known"
Until the Day of the time well-known." (QS. [38] Sad: 81)Tafsir
82
قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَاُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَۙ ٨٢
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- fabiʿizzatika
- فَبِعِزَّتِكَ
- "Then by Your might
- la-ugh'wiyannahum
- لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ
- I will surely mislead them
- ajmaʿīna
- أَجْمَعِينَ
- all
[Iblees] said, "By Your might, I will surely mislead them all. (QS. [38] Sad: 82)Tafsir
83
اِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِيْنَ ٨٣
- illā
- إِلَّا
- Except
- ʿibādaka
- عِبَادَكَ
- Your slaves
- min'humu
- مِنْهُمُ
- among them
- l-mukh'laṣīna
- ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
- the chosen ones"
Except, among them, Your chosen servants." (QS. [38] Sad: 83)Tafsir
84
قَالَ فَالْحَقُّۖ وَالْحَقَّ اَقُوْلُۚ ٨٤
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- fal-ḥaqu
- فَٱلْحَقُّ
- "Then (it is) the truth
- wal-ḥaqa
- وَٱلْحَقَّ
- and the truth
- aqūlu
- أَقُولُ
- I say
[Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say – (QS. [38] Sad: 84)Tafsir
85
لَاَمْلَئَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنْكَ وَمِمَّنْ تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ ٨٥
- la-amla-anna
- لَأَمْلَأَنَّ
- Surely I will fill
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَ
- Hell
- minka
- مِنكَ
- with you
- wamimman
- وَمِمَّن
- and those who
- tabiʿaka
- تَبِعَكَ
- follow you
- min'hum
- مِنْهُمْ
- among them
- ajmaʿīna
- أَجْمَعِينَ
- all"
[That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." (QS. [38] Sad: 85)Tafsir
86
قُلْ مَآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ وَّمَآ اَنَا۠ مِنَ الْمُتَكَلِّفِيْنَ ٨٦

- I ask of you

- عَلَيْهِ
- for it

- I am
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-mutakalifīna
- ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ
- the ones who pretend
Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for it [i.e., the Quran] any payment, and I am not of the pretentious. (QS. [38] Sad: 86)Tafsir
87
اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٨٧
- in
- إِنْ
- Not
- huwa
- هُوَ
- it (is)
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- dhik'run
- ذِكْرٌ
- a Reminder
- lil'ʿālamīna
- لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- to the worlds
It is but a reminder to the worlds. (QS. [38] Sad: 87)Tafsir
88
وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَاَهٗ بَعْدَ حِيْنٍ ࣖ ٨٨
- walataʿlamunna
- وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ
- And surely you will know
- naba-ahu
- نَبَأَهُۥ
- its information
- baʿda
- بَعْدَ
- after
- ḥīnin
- حِينٍۭ
- a time"
And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." (QS. [38] Sad: 88)Tafsir
