مَا اتَّخَذَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ وَّلَدٍ وَّمَا كَانَ مَعَهٗ مِنْ اِلٰهٍ اِذًا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ اِلٰهٍۢ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍۗ سُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُوْنَ ۙ ٩١
- mā
 - مَا
 - Not
 
- ittakhadha
 - ٱتَّخَذَ
 - Allah has taken
 
- l-lahu
 - ٱللَّهُ
 - Allah has taken
 
- min
 - مِن
 - any
 
- waladin
 - وَلَدٍ
 - son
 
- wamā
 - وَمَا
 - and not
 
- kāna
 - كَانَ
 - is
 
- maʿahu
 - مَعَهُۥ
 - with Him
 
- min
 - مِنْ
 - any
 
- ilāhin
 - إِلَٰهٍۚ
 - god
 
- idhan
 - إِذًا
 - Then
 
- ladhahaba
 - لَّذَهَبَ
 - surely (would have) taken away
 
- kullu
 - كُلُّ
 - each
 
- ilāhin
 - إِلَٰهٍۭ
 - god
 
- bimā
 - بِمَا
 - what
 
- khalaqa
 - خَلَقَ
 - he created
 
- walaʿalā
 - وَلَعَلَا
 - and surely would have overpowered
 
- baʿḍuhum
 - بَعْضُهُمْ
 - some of them
 
- ʿalā
 - عَلَىٰ
 - [on]
 
- baʿḍin
 - بَعْضٍۚ
 - others
 
- sub'ḥāna
 - سُبْحَٰنَ
 - Glory be
 
- l-lahi
 - ٱللَّهِ
 - (to) Allah
 
- ʿammā
 - عَمَّا
 - above what
 
- yaṣifūna
 - يَصِفُونَ
 - they attribute!
 
Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have [sought to] overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 91)Tafsir
عٰلِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَتَعٰلٰى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ࣖ ٩٢
- ʿālimi
 - عَٰلِمِ
 - Knower
 
- l-ghaybi
 - ٱلْغَيْبِ
 - (of) the unseen
 
- wal-shahādati
 - وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
 - and the witnessed
 
- fataʿālā
 - فَتَعَٰلَىٰ
 - exalted is He
 
- ʿammā
 - عَمَّا
 - above what
 
- yush'rikūna
 - يُشْرِكُونَ
 - they associate
 
[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 92)Tafsir
قُلْ رَّبِّ اِمَّا تُرِيَنِّيْ مَا يُوْعَدُوْنَ ۙ ٩٣
- qul
 - قُل
 - Say
 
- rabbi
 - رَّبِّ
 - "My Lord!
 
- immā
 - إِمَّا
 - If
 
- turiyannī
 - تُرِيَنِّى
 - You should show me
 
- mā
 - مَا
 - what
 
- yūʿadūna
 - يُوعَدُونَ
 - they are promised
 
Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 93)Tafsir
رَبِّ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنِيْ فِى الْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ٩٤
- rabbi
 - رَبِّ
 - My Lord
 
- falā
 - فَلَا
 - then (do) not
 
- tajʿalnī
 - تَجْعَلْنِى
 - place me
 
- fī
 - فِى
 - among
 
- l-qawmi
 - ٱلْقَوْمِ
 - the people -
 
- l-ẓālimīna
 - ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
 - the wrongdoers"
 
My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 94)Tafsir
وَاِنَّا عَلٰٓى اَنْ نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمْ لَقٰدِرُوْنَ ٩٥
- wa-innā
 - وَإِنَّا
 - And indeed We
 
- ʿalā
 - عَلَىٰٓ
 - on
 
- an
 - أَن
 - that
 
- nuriyaka
 - نُّرِيَكَ
 - We show you
 
- mā
 - مَا
 - what
 
- naʿiduhum
 - نَعِدُهُمْ
 - We have promised them
 
- laqādirūna
 - لَقَٰدِرُونَ
 - surely able
 
And indeed, We are Able to show you what We have promised them. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 95)Tafsir
اِدْفَعْ بِالَّتِيْ هِيَ اَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَۗ نَحْنُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُوْنَ ٩٦
- id'faʿ
 - ٱدْفَعْ
 - Repel
 
- bi-allatī
 - بِٱلَّتِى
 - by that
 
- hiya
 - هِىَ
 - which
 
- aḥsanu
 - أَحْسَنُ
 - (is) best -
 
- l-sayi-ata
 - ٱلسَّيِّئَةَۚ
 - the evil
 
- naḥnu
 - نَحْنُ
 - We
 
- aʿlamu
 - أَعْلَمُ
 - know best
 
- bimā
 - بِمَا
 - of what
 
- yaṣifūna
 - يَصِفُونَ
 - they attribute
 
Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 96)Tafsir
وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزٰتِ الشَّيٰطِيْنِ ۙ ٩٧
- waqul
 - وَقُل
 - And say
 
- rabbi
 - رَّبِّ
 - "My Lord!
 
- aʿūdhu
 - أَعُوذُ
 - I seek refuge
 
- bika
 - بِكَ
 - in You
 
- min
 - مِنْ
 - from
 
- hamazāti
 - هَمَزَٰتِ
 - (the) suggestions
 
- l-shayāṭīni
 - ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ
 - (of) the evil ones
 
And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 97)Tafsir
وَاَعُوْذُ بِكَ رَبِّ اَنْ يَّحْضُرُوْنِ ٩٨
- wa-aʿūdhu
 - وَأَعُوذُ
 - And I seek refuge
 
- bika
 - بِكَ
 - in You
 
- rabbi
 - رَبِّ
 - My Lord!
 
- an
 - أَن
 - Lest
 
- yaḥḍurūni
 - يَحْضُرُونِ
 - they be present with me"
 
And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 98)Tafsir
حَتّٰٓى اِذَا جَاۤءَ اَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُوْنِ ۙ ٩٩
- ḥattā
 - حَتَّىٰٓ
 - Until
 
- idhā
 - إِذَا
 - when
 
- jāa
 - جَآءَ
 - comes
 
- aḥadahumu
 - أَحَدَهُمُ
 - (to) one of them
 
- l-mawtu
 - ٱلْمَوْتُ
 - the death
 
- qāla
 - قَالَ
 - he says
 
- rabbi
 - رَبِّ
 - "My Lord!
 
- ir'jiʿūni
 - ٱرْجِعُونِ
 - Send me back
 
[For such is the state of the disbelievers] until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 99)Tafsir
لَعَلِّيْٓ اَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيْمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّاۗ اِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَاۤىِٕلُهَاۗ وَمِنْ وَّرَاۤىِٕهِمْ بَرْزَخٌ اِلٰى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُوْنَ ١٠٠
- laʿallī
 - لَعَلِّىٓ
 - That I may
 
- aʿmalu
 - أَعْمَلُ
 - do
 
- ṣāliḥan
 - صَٰلِحًا
 - righteous (deeds)
 
- fīmā
 - فِيمَا
 - in what
 
- taraktu
 - تَرَكْتُۚ
 - I left behind"
 
- kallā
 - كَلَّآۚ
 - No!
 
- innahā
 - إِنَّهَا
 - Indeed, it
 
- kalimatun
 - كَلِمَةٌ
 - (is) a word
 
- huwa
 - هُوَ
 - he
 
- qāiluhā
 - قَآئِلُهَاۖ
 - speaks it
 
- wamin
 - وَمِن
 - and before them
 
- warāihim
 - وَرَآئِهِم
 - and before them
 
- barzakhun
 - بَرْزَخٌ
 - (is) a barrier
 
- ilā
 - إِلَىٰ
 - till
 
- yawmi
 - يَوْمِ
 - (the) Day
 
- yub'ʿathūna
 - يُبْعَثُونَ
 - they are resurrected
 
That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 100)Tafsir
