مُّطَاعٍ ثَمَّ اَمِيْنٍۗ ٢١
- muṭāʿin
- مُّطَاعٍ
- One to be obeyed
- thamma
- ثَمَّ
- and
- amīnin
- أَمِينٍ
- trustworthy
Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. (QS. [81] At-Takwir: 21)Tafsir
22
وَمَا صَاحِبُكُمْ بِمَجْنُوْنٍۚ ٢٢
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- ṣāḥibukum
- صَاحِبُكُم
- (is) your companion
- bimajnūnin
- بِمَجْنُونٍ
- mad
And your companion [i.e., Prophet Muhammad] is not [at all] mad. (QS. [81] At-Takwir: 22)Tafsir
23
وَلَقَدْ رَاٰهُ بِالْاُفُقِ الْمُبِيْنِۚ ٢٣
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And certainly
- raāhu
- رَءَاهُ
- he saw him
- bil-ufuqi
- بِٱلْأُفُقِ
- in the horizon
- l-mubīni
- ٱلْمُبِينِ
- the clear
And he has already seen him [i.e., Gabriel] in the clear horizon. (QS. [81] At-Takwir: 23)Tafsir
24
وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ بِضَنِيْنٍۚ ٢٤
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- huwa
- هُوَ
- he (is)
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- on
- l-ghaybi
- ٱلْغَيْبِ
- the unseen
- biḍanīnin
- بِضَنِينٍ
- a withholder
And he [i.e., Muhammad] is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. (QS. [81] At-Takwir: 24)Tafsir
25
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطٰنٍ رَّجِيْمٍۚ ٢٥
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- huwa
- هُوَ
- it
- biqawli
- بِقَوْلِ
- (is the) word
- shayṭānin
- شَيْطَٰنٍ
- (of) Shaitaan
- rajīmin
- رَّجِيمٍ
- accursed
And it [i.e., the Quran] is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. (QS. [81] At-Takwir: 25)Tafsir
26
فَاَيْنَ تَذْهَبُوْنَۗ ٢٦
- fa-ayna
- فَأَيْنَ
- So where
- tadhhabūna
- تَذْهَبُونَ
- are you going?
So where are you going? (QS. [81] At-Takwir: 26)Tafsir
27
اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعٰلَمِيْنَۙ ٢٧
- in
- إِنْ
- Not
- huwa
- هُوَ
- it
- illā
- إِلَّا
- (is) except
- dhik'run
- ذِكْرٌ
- a reminder
- lil'ʿālamīna
- لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- to the worlds
It is not except a reminder to the worlds (QS. [81] At-Takwir: 27)Tafsir
28
لِمَنْ شَاۤءَ مِنْكُمْ اَنْ يَّسْتَقِيْمَۗ ٢٨
- liman
- لِمَن
- For whoever
- shāa
- شَآءَ
- wills
- minkum
- مِنكُمْ
- among you
- an
- أَن
- to
- yastaqīma
- يَسْتَقِيمَ
- take a straight way
For whoever wills among you to take a right course. (QS. [81] At-Takwir: 28)Tafsir
29
وَمَا تَشَاۤءُوْنَ اِلَّآ اَنْ يَّشَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ࣖ ٢٩
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- tashāūna
- تَشَآءُونَ
- you will
- illā
- إِلَّآ
- except
- an
- أَن
- that
- yashāa
- يَشَآءَ
- wills
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- rabbu
- رَبُّ
- Lord
- l-ʿālamīna
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- (of) the worlds
And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. (QS. [81] At-Takwir: 29)Tafsir
