11
فَوَقٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ شَرَّ ذٰلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَلَقّٰىهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَّسُرُوْرًاۚ ١١
- fawaqāhumu
- فَوَقَىٰهُمُ
- But will protect them
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- sharra
- شَرَّ
- (from the) evil
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- (of) that
- l-yawmi
- ٱلْيَوْمِ
- Day
- walaqqāhum
- وَلَقَّىٰهُمْ
- and will cause them to meet
- naḍratan
- نَضْرَةً
- radiance
- wasurūran
- وَسُرُورًا
- and happiness
So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness (QS. [76] Al-Insan: 11)Tafsir
12
وَجَزٰىهُمْ بِمَا صَبَرُوْا جَنَّةً وَّحَرِيْرًاۙ ١٢
- wajazāhum
- وَجَزَىٰهُم
- And will reward them
- bimā
- بِمَا
- because
- ṣabarū
- صَبَرُوا۟
- they were patient
- jannatan
- جَنَّةً
- (with) a Garden
- waḥarīran
- وَحَرِيرًا
- and silk
And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments]. (QS. [76] Al-Insan: 12)Tafsir
13
مُّتَّكِـِٕيْنَ فِيْهَا عَلَى الْاَرَاۤىِٕكِۚ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيْهَا شَمْسًا وَّلَا زَمْهَرِيْرًاۚ ١٣
- muttakiīna
- مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ
- Reclining
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- on
- l-arāiki
- ٱلْأَرَآئِكِۖ
- couches
- lā
- لَا
- Not
- yarawna
- يَرَوْنَ
- they will see
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- shamsan
- شَمْسًا
- any sun
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- zamharīran
- زَمْهَرِيرًا
- freezing cold
[They will be] reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold. (QS. [76] Al-Insan: 13)Tafsir
14
وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوْفُهَا تَذْلِيْلًا ١٤
- wadāniyatan
- وَدَانِيَةً
- And near
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- above them
- ẓilāluhā
- ظِلَٰلُهَا
- (are) its shades
- wadhullilat
- وَذُلِّلَتْ
- and will hang low
- quṭūfuhā
- قُطُوفُهَا
- its cluster of fruits
- tadhlīlan
- تَذْلِيلًا
- very low
And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance. (QS. [76] Al-Insan: 14)Tafsir
15
وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِاٰنِيَةٍ مِّنْ فِضَّةٍ وَّاَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيْرَا۠ ١٥
- wayuṭāfu
- وَيُطَافُ
- And will be circulated
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِم
- among them
- biāniyatin
- بِـَٔانِيَةٍ
- vessels
- min
- مِّن
- of
- fiḍḍatin
- فِضَّةٍ
- silver
- wa-akwābin
- وَأَكْوَابٍ
- and cups
- kānat
- كَانَتْ
- that are
- qawārīrā
- قَوَارِيرَا۠
- (of) crystal
And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass], (QS. [76] Al-Insan: 15)Tafsir
16
قَوَارِيْرَا۟ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوْهَا تَقْدِيْرًا ١٦
- qawārīrā
- قَوَارِيرَا۟
- Crystal-clear
- min
- مِن
- of
- fiḍḍatin
- فِضَّةٍ
- silver
- qaddarūhā
- قَدَّرُوهَا
- They will determine its
- taqdīran
- تَقْدِيرًا
- measure
Clear glasses [made] from silver of which they have determined the measure. (QS. [76] Al-Insan: 16)Tafsir
17
وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيْهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنْجَبِيْلًاۚ ١٧
- wayus'qawna
- وَيُسْقَوْنَ
- And they will be given to drink
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- kasan
- كَأْسًا
- a cup -
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- mizājuhā
- مِزَاجُهَا
- its mixture
- zanjabīlan
- زَنجَبِيلًا
- (of) Zanjabil
And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger (QS. [76] Al-Insan: 17)Tafsir
18
عَيْنًا فِيْهَا تُسَمّٰى سَلْسَبِيْلًا ١٨
- ʿaynan
- عَيْنًا
- A spring
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- tusammā
- تُسَمَّىٰ
- named
- salsabīlan
- سَلْسَبِيلًا
- Salsabil
[From] a fountain within it [i.e., Paradise] named Salsabeel. (QS. [76] Al-Insan: 18)Tafsir
19
۞ وَيَطُوْفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُوْنَۚ اِذَا رَاَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنْثُوْرًا ١٩
- wayaṭūfu
- وَيَطُوفُ
- And will circulate
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- among them
- wil'dānun
- وِلْدَٰنٌ
- young boys
- mukhalladūna
- مُّخَلَّدُونَ
- made eternal
- idhā
- إِذَا
- When
- ra-aytahum
- رَأَيْتَهُمْ
- you see them
- ḥasib'tahum
- حَسِبْتَهُمْ
- you would think them
- lu'lu-an
- لُؤْلُؤًا
- (as) pearls
- manthūran
- مَّنثُورًا
- scattered
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls. (QS. [76] Al-Insan: 19)Tafsir
20
وَاِذَا رَاَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَاَيْتَ نَعِيْمًا وَّمُلْكًا كَبِيْرًا ٢٠
- wa-idhā
- وَإِذَا
- And when
- ra-ayta
- رَأَيْتَ
- you look
- thamma
- ثَمَّ
- then
- ra-ayta
- رَأَيْتَ
- you will see
- naʿīman
- نَعِيمًا
- blessings
- wamul'kan
- وَمُلْكًا
- and a kingdom
- kabīran
- كَبِيرًا
- great
And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion. (QS. [76] Al-Insan: 20)Tafsir
