ذَرْنِيْ وَمَنْ خَلَقْتُ وَحِيْدًاۙ ١١
- dharnī

- Leave Me
- waman
- وَمَنْ
- and whom
- khalaqtu
- خَلَقْتُ
- I created
- waḥīdan
- وَحِيدًا
- alone
Leave Me with the one I created alone (QS. [74] Al-Muddaththir: 11)Tafsir

وَّجَعَلْتُ لَهٗ مَالًا مَّمْدُوْدًاۙ ١٢
- wajaʿaltu
- وَجَعَلْتُ
- And I granted
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- to him
- mālan
- مَالًا
- wealth
- mamdūdan
- مَّمْدُودًا
- extensive
And to whom I granted extensive wealth (QS. [74] Al-Muddaththir: 12)Tafsir
13
وَّبَنِيْنَ شُهُوْدًاۙ ١٣
- wabanīna
- وَبَنِينَ
- And children
- shuhūdan
- شُهُودًا
- present
And children present [with him] (QS. [74] Al-Muddaththir: 13)Tafsir
14
وَّمَهَّدْتُّ لَهٗ تَمْهِيْدًاۙ ١٤
- wamahhadttu
- وَمَهَّدتُّ
- And I spread
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- for him
- tamhīdan
- تَمْهِيدًا
- ease
And spread [everything] before him, easing [his life]. (QS. [74] Al-Muddaththir: 14)Tafsir
15
ثُمَّ يَطْمَعُ اَنْ اَزِيْدَۙ ١٥
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- yaṭmaʿu
- يَطْمَعُ
- he desires
- an
- أَنْ
- that
- azīda
- أَزِيدَ
- I (should) add more
Then he desires that I should add more. (QS. [74] Al-Muddaththir: 15)Tafsir
16
كَلَّاۗ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ لِاٰيٰتِنَا عَنِيْدًاۗ ١٦
- kallā
- كَلَّآۖ
- By no means!
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed he
- kāna
- كَانَ
- has been
- liāyātinā
- لِءَايَٰتِنَا
- to Our Verses
- ʿanīdan
- عَنِيدًا
- stubborn
No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate. (QS. [74] Al-Muddaththir: 16)Tafsir
17
سَاُرْهِقُهٗ صَعُوْدًاۗ ١٧
- sa-ur'hiquhu
- سَأُرْهِقُهُۥ
- Soon I will cover Him
- ṣaʿūdan
- صَعُودًا
- (with) a laborious punishment
I will cover him with arduous torment. (QS. [74] Al-Muddaththir: 17)Tafsir
18
اِنَّهٗ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَۙ ١٨
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed he
- fakkara
- فَكَّرَ
- thought
- waqaddara
- وَقَدَّرَ
- and plotted
Indeed, he thought and deliberated. (QS. [74] Al-Muddaththir: 18)Tafsir
19
فَقُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَۙ ١٩
- faqutila
- فَقُتِلَ
- So may he be destroyed
- kayfa
- كَيْفَ
- how
- qaddara
- قَدَّرَ
- he plotted!
So may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. (QS. [74] Al-Muddaththir: 19)Tafsir

ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَۙ ٢٠
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- qutila
- قُتِلَ
- may he be destroyed
- kayfa
- كَيْفَ

- he plotted!
