قُلْ اِنِّيْ لَآ اَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرًّا وَّلَا رَشَدًا ٢١

- لَكُمْ
- for you
- ḍarran
- ضَرًّا
- any harm

- rashadan
- رَشَدًا
- right path"
Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction." (QS. [72] Al-Jinn: 21)Tafsir
قُلْ اِنِّيْ لَنْ يُّجِيْرَنِيْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ اَحَدٌ ەۙ وَّلَنْ اَجِدَ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖ مُلْتَحَدًا ۙ ٢٢

- "Indeed I

- never
- yujīranī
- يُجِيرَنِى
- can protect me
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- aḥadun

- anyone

- وَلَنْ
- and never
- ajida
- أَجِدَ
- can I find
- min
- مِن
- from
- dūnihi
- دُونِهِۦ
- besides Him
- mul'taḥadan
- مُلْتَحَدًا
- any refuge
Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allah anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge. (QS. [72] Al-Jinn: 22)Tafsir
اِلَّا بَلٰغًا مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرِسٰلٰتِهٖۗ وَمَنْ يَّعْصِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ فَاِنَّ لَهٗ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَبَدًاۗ ٢٣
- illā
- إِلَّا
- But
- balāghan
- بَلَٰغًا
- (the) notification
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- warisālātihi
- وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦۚ
- and His Messages"
- waman
- وَمَن
- And whoever
- yaʿṣi
- يَعْصِ
- disobeys
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- warasūlahu
- وَرَسُولَهُۥ
- and His Messenger
- fa-inna
- فَإِنَّ
- then indeed
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- for him
- nāra
- نَارَ
- (is the) Fire
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَ
- (of) Hell
- khālidīna
- خَٰلِدِينَ
- (they will) abide
- fīhā
- فِيهَآ
- therein
- abadan
- أَبَدًا
- forever
But [I have for you] only notification from Allah, and His messages." And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger – then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever. (QS. [72] Al-Jinn: 23)Tafsir
حَتّٰىٓ اِذَا رَاَوْا مَا يُوْعَدُوْنَ فَسَيَعْلَمُوْنَ مَنْ اَضْعَفُ نَاصِرًا وَّاَقَلُّ عَدَدًاۗ ٢٤
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰٓ
- Until
- idhā
- إِذَا
- when
- ra-aw
- رَأَوْا۟
- they see
- mā
- مَا
- what
- yūʿadūna
- يُوعَدُونَ
- they are promised
- fasayaʿlamūna
- فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ
- then they will know
- man
- مَنْ
- who
- aḍʿafu
- أَضْعَفُ
- (is) weaker
- nāṣiran
- نَاصِرًا
- (in) helpers
- wa-aqallu
- وَأَقَلُّ
- and fewer
- ʿadadan
- عَدَدًا
- (in) number
[The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number. (QS. [72] Al-Jinn: 24)Tafsir
قُلْ اِنْ اَدْرِيْٓ اَقَرِيْبٌ مَّا تُوْعَدُوْنَ اَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهٗ رَبِّيْٓ اَمَدًا ٢٥

- "Not
- adrī
- أَدْرِىٓ
- I know
- aqarībun
- أَقَرِيبٌ
- whether is near
- mā
- مَّا
- what
- tūʿadūna
- تُوعَدُونَ
- you are promised
- am
- أَمْ
- or (whether)
- yajʿalu
- يَجْعَلُ
- will appoint
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- for it
- rabbī
- رَبِّىٓ
- my Lord
- amadan
- أَمَدًا
- a (distant) term
Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period." (QS. [72] Al-Jinn: 25)Tafsir
عٰلِمُ الْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلٰى غَيْبِهٖٓ اَحَدًاۙ ٢٦
- ʿālimu
- عَٰلِمُ
- (The) All-Knower
- l-ghaybi
- ٱلْغَيْبِ
- (of) the unseen
- falā
- فَلَا
- so not
- yuẓ'hiru
- يُظْهِرُ
- He reveals
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- from
- ghaybihi
- غَيْبِهِۦٓ
- His unseen
- aḥadan
- أَحَدًا
- (to) anyone
[He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone (QS. [72] Al-Jinn: 26)Tafsir
اِلَّا مَنِ ارْتَضٰى مِنْ رَّسُوْلٍ فَاِنَّهٗ يَسْلُكُ مِنْۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهٖ رَصَدًاۙ ٢٧
- illā
- إِلَّا
- Except
- mani
- مَنِ
- whom
- ir'taḍā
- ٱرْتَضَىٰ
- He has approved
- min
- مِن
- of
- rasūlin
- رَّسُولٍ
- a Messenger
- fa-innahu
- فَإِنَّهُۥ
- and indeed, He
- yasluku
- يَسْلُكُ
- makes to march
- min
- مِنۢ
- from
- bayni
- بَيْنِ
- before
- yadayhi
- يَدَيْهِ
- him
- wamin
- وَمِنْ
- and from
- khalfihi
- خَلْفِهِۦ
- behind him
- raṣadan
- رَصَدًا
- a guard
Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before him [i.e., each messenger] and behind him observers (QS. [72] Al-Jinn: 27)Tafsir
لِّيَعْلَمَ اَنْ قَدْ اَبْلَغُوْا رِسٰلٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَاَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ وَاَحْصٰى كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَدًا ࣖ ٢٨
- liyaʿlama
- لِّيَعْلَمَ
- That He may make evident
- an
- أَن
- that
- qad
- قَدْ
- indeed
- ablaghū
- أَبْلَغُوا۟
- they have conveyed
- risālāti
- رِسَٰلَٰتِ
- (the) Messages
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِمْ
- (of) their Lord;
- wa-aḥāṭa
- وَأَحَاطَ
- and He has encompassed
- bimā
- بِمَا
- what
- ladayhim
- لَدَيْهِمْ
- (is) with them
- wa-aḥṣā
- وَأَحْصَىٰ
- and He takes account
- kulla
- كُلَّ
- (of) all
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- things
- ʿadadan
- عَدَدًۢا
- (in) number"
That he [i.e., Muhammad (^)] may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number. (QS. [72] Al-Jinn: 28)Tafsir
