Al-Qur'an Surah Al-A'raf Verse 49
Al-A'raf [7]: 49 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
اَهٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ الَّذِيْنَ اَقْسَمْتُمْ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِرَحْمَةٍۗ اُدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَآ اَنْتُمْ تَحْزَنُوْنَ (الأعراف : ٧)
- ahāulāi
- أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
- Are these
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- the ones whom
- aqsamtum
- أَقْسَمْتُمْ
- you had sworn
- lā
- لَا
- (that) not
- yanāluhumu
- يَنَالُهُمُ
- (will) grant them
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- biraḥmatin
- بِرَحْمَةٍۚ
- Mercy?
- ud'khulū
- ٱدْخُلُوا۟
- "Enter

- ٱلْجَنَّةَ
- Paradise

- (There will be) no

Transliteration:
A haaa'ulaaa'il lazeena aqsamtum laa yanaaluhumul laahu birahma; udkhulul Jannata laa khawfun 'alaikum wa laaa antum tahzanoon(QS. al-ʾAʿrāf:49)
English / Sahih Translation:
[Allah will say], "Are these the ones whom you [inhabitants of Hell] swore that Allah would never offer them mercy? Enter Paradise, [O people of the Elevations]. No fear will there be concerning you, nor will you grieve." (QS. Al-A'raf, ayah 49)

Is it these (people of Paradise) about whom you swore that Allah would not allow His mercy to reach them?” (It will be said to such people,) “Enter Paradise; there will be no fear for you, nor shall you grieve.”

Tafsir jalalayn
Are these the ones of whom you swore that God would never grant them mercy?'; it has already been said to them, `Enter Paradise; no fear shall come upon you, nor shall you grieve' (a variant reading [for udkhul, `enter' (imperative, second person plural)] has the passive udkhil, `they have been admitted', or dakhal, `they entered'; the negation clause [`no fear shall come upon you, nor shall you grieve'] is a circumstantial qualifier, in other words, [they enter Paradise] while this is being said to them).
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
أَهَـوُلاء الَّذِينَ أَقْسَمْتُمْ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ اللّهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ
Are they those, of whom you swore that Allah would never show them mercy,
Ali bin Abi Talhah reported from Ibn Abbas,
refers to the people of Al-A`rafwho will be told when Allah decrees;
ادْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ
(Behold! It has been said to them);"Enter Paradise, no fear shall be on you, nor shall you grieve.
