Al-Qur'an Surah Al-A'raf Verse 14

Al-A'raf [7]: 14 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

قَالَ اَنْظِرْنِيْٓ اِلٰى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُوْنَ (الأعراف : ٧)

قَالَ
(Shaitaan) said
anẓir'nī
أَنظِرْنِىٓ
"Give me respite
ilā
إِلَىٰ
till
yawmi
يَوْمِ
(the) Day
yub'ʿathūna
يُبْعَثُونَ
they are raised up"

Transliteration:

Qaala anzirneee ilaa Yawmi yub'asoon (QS. al-ʾAʿrāf:14)

English / Sahih Translation:

[Satan] said, "Reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." (QS. Al-A'raf, ayah 14)

He said, “Then give me respite until a day when all will be resurrected.
