قَالُوْٓا اٰمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَۙ ١٢١
- qālū
- قَالُوٓا۟
- They said
- āmannā
- ءَامَنَّا
- "We believe
- birabbi
- بِرَبِّ
- in (the) Lord
- l-ʿālamīna
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- (of) the worlds
They said, "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds, (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 121)Tafsir
رَبِّ مُوْسٰى وَهٰرُوْنَ ١٢٢
- rabbi
- رَبِّ
- Lord
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰ
- (of) Musa
- wahārūna
- وَهَٰرُونَ
- and Harun"
The Lord of Moses and Aaron." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 122)Tafsir
قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ اٰمَنْتُمْ بِهٖ قَبْلَ اَنْ اٰذَنَ لَكُمْۚ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَمَكْرٌ مَّكَرْتُمُوْهُ فِى الْمَدِيْنَةِ لِتُخْرِجُوْا مِنْهَآ اَهْلَهَاۚ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ١٢٣
- qāla
- قَالَ
- Said
- fir'ʿawnu
- فِرْعَوْنُ
- Firaun
- āmantum
- ءَامَنتُم
- "You believed
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- in him
- qabla
- قَبْلَ
- before
- an
- أَنْ
- [that]
- ādhana
- ءَاذَنَ
- I give permission
- lakum
- لَكُمْۖ
- to you
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- this
- lamakrun
- لَمَكْرٌ
- (is) surely a plot
- makartumūhu
- مَّكَرْتُمُوهُ
- you have plotted it
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-madīnati
- ٱلْمَدِينَةِ
- the city
- litukh'rijū
- لِتُخْرِجُوا۟
- so that you may drive out
- min'hā
- مِنْهَآ
- from it
- ahlahā
- أَهْلَهَاۖ
- its people
- fasawfa
- فَسَوْفَ
- But soon
- taʿlamūna
- تَعْلَمُونَ
- you will know
Said Pharaoh, "You believed in him before I gave you permission. Indeed, this is a conspiracy which you conspired in the city to expel therefrom its people. But you are going to know. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 123)Tafsir
لَاُقَطِّعَنَّ اَيْدِيَكُمْ وَاَرْجُلَكُمْ مِّنْ خِلَافٍ ثُمَّ لَاُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ ١٢٤
- la-uqaṭṭiʿanna
- لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ
- I will surely cut off
- aydiyakum
- أَيْدِيَكُمْ
- your hands
- wa-arjulakum
- وَأَرْجُلَكُم
- and your feet
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- khilāfin
- خِلَٰفٍ
- opposite (sides)
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- la-uṣallibannakum
- لَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ
- I will surely crucify you
- ajmaʿīna
- أَجْمَعِينَ
- all"
I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides; then I will surely crucify you all." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 124)Tafsir
قَالُوْٓا اِنَّآ اِلٰى رَبِّنَا مُنْقَلِبُوْنَۙ ١٢٥
- qālū
- قَالُوٓا۟
- They said
- innā
- إِنَّآ
- "Indeed we
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- rabbinā
- رَبِّنَا
- our Lord
- munqalibūna
- مُنقَلِبُونَ
- (will) return
They said, "Indeed, to our Lord we will return. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 125)Tafsir
وَمَا تَنْقِمُ مِنَّآ اِلَّآ اَنْ اٰمَنَّا بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَاۤءَتْنَا ۗرَبَّنَآ اَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَّتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِيْنَ ࣖ ١٢٦
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- tanqimu
- تَنقِمُ
- you take revenge
- minnā
- مِنَّآ
- from us
- illā
- إِلَّآ
- except
- an
- أَنْ
- that
- āmannā
- ءَامَنَّا
- we believed
- biāyāti
- بِـَٔايَٰتِ
- in (the) Signs
- rabbinā
- رَبِّنَا
- (of) our Lord
- lammā
- لَمَّا
- when
- jāatnā
- جَآءَتْنَاۚ
- they came to us
- rabbanā
- رَبَّنَآ
- Our Lord!
- afrigh
- أَفْرِغْ
- Pour
- ʿalaynā
- عَلَيْنَا
- upon us
- ṣabran
- صَبْرًا
- patience
- watawaffanā
- وَتَوَفَّنَا
- and cause us to die
- mus'limīna
- مُسْلِمِينَ
- (as) Muslims"
And you do not resent us except because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You]." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 126)Tafsir
وَقَالَ الْمَلَاُ مِنْ قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ اَتَذَرُ مُوْسٰى وَقَوْمَهٗ لِيُفْسِدُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ وَيَذَرَكَ وَاٰلِهَتَكَۗ قَالَ سَنُقَتِّلُ اَبْنَاۤءَهُمْ وَنَسْتَحْيٖ نِسَاۤءَهُمْۚ وَاِنَّا فَوْقَهُمْ قَاهِرُوْنَ ١٢٧
- waqāla
- وَقَالَ
- And said
- l-mala-u
- ٱلْمَلَأُ
- the chiefs
- min
- مِن
- of
- qawmi
- قَوْمِ
- (the) people
- fir'ʿawna
- فِرْعَوْنَ
- (of) Firaun
- atadharu
- أَتَذَرُ
- "Will you leave
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰ
- Musa
- waqawmahu
- وَقَوْمَهُۥ
- and his people
- liyuf'sidū
- لِيُفْسِدُوا۟
- so that they cause corruption
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- wayadharaka
- وَيَذَرَكَ
- and forsake you
- waālihataka
- وَءَالِهَتَكَۚ
- and your gods?"
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- sanuqattilu
- سَنُقَتِّلُ
- "We will kill
- abnāahum
- أَبْنَآءَهُمْ
- their sons
- wanastaḥyī
- وَنَسْتَحْىِۦ
- and we will let live
- nisāahum
- نِسَآءَهُمْ
- their women
- wa-innā
- وَإِنَّا
- and indeed we
- fawqahum
- فَوْقَهُمْ
- over them
- qāhirūna
- قَٰهِرُونَ
- (are) subjugators"
And the eminent among the people of Pharaoh said, "Will you leave Moses and his people to cause corruption in the land and abandon you and your gods?" [Pharaoh] said, "We will kill their sons and keep their women alive; and indeed, we are subjugators over them." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 127)Tafsir
قَالَ مُوْسٰى لِقَوْمِهِ اسْتَعِيْنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَاصْبِرُوْاۚ اِنَّ الْاَرْضَ لِلّٰهِ ۗيُوْرِثُهَا مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖۗ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ ١٢٨

- قَالَ
- Said
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰ
- Musa
- liqawmihi
- لِقَوْمِهِ
- to his people
- is'taʿīnū
- ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟
- "Seek help
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- from Allah
- wa-iṣ'birū
- وَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ۖ
- and be patient
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-arḍa
- ٱلْأَرْضَ
- the earth
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- (belongs) to Allah
- yūrithuhā
- يُورِثُهَا
- He causes to inherit it
- man
- مَن
- whom
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُ
- He wills
- min
- مِنْ
- of
- ʿibādihi
- عِبَادِهِۦۖ
- His servants
- wal-ʿāqibatu
- وَٱلْعَٰقِبَةُ
- And the end
- lil'muttaqīna
- لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
- (is) for the righteous"
Said Moses to his people, "Seek help through Allah and be patient. Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 128)Tafsir
قَالُوْٓا اُوْذِيْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تَأْتِيَنَا وَمِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا جِئْتَنَا ۗقَالَ عَسٰى رَبُّكُمْ اَنْ يُّهْلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفَكُمْ فِى الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُوْنَ ࣖ ١٢٩
- qālū
- قَالُوٓا۟
- They said
- ūdhīnā
- أُوذِينَا
- "We have been harmed
- min
- مِن
- from
- qabli
- قَبْلِ
- before
- an
- أَن
- [that]
- tatiyanā
- تَأْتِيَنَا
- you came to us
- wamin
- وَمِنۢ
- from
- baʿdi
- بَعْدِ
- and after
- mā
- مَا
- [what]
- ji'tanā
- جِئْتَنَاۚ
- you have come to us"
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- ʿasā
- عَسَىٰ
- "Perhaps
- rabbukum
- رَبُّكُمْ
- your Lord
- an
- أَن
- [that]
- yuh'lika
- يُهْلِكَ
- will destroy
- ʿaduwwakum
- عَدُوَّكُمْ
- your enemy
- wayastakhlifakum
- وَيَسْتَخْلِفَكُمْ
- and make you successors
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- fayanẓura
- فَيَنظُرَ
- then see
- kayfa
- كَيْفَ
- how
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- you will do"
They said, "We have been harmed before you came to us and after you have come to us." He said, "Perhaps your Lord will destroy your enemy and grant you succession in the land and see how you will do." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 129)Tafsir
وَلَقَدْ اَخَذْنَآ اٰلَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِالسِّنِيْنَ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الثَّمَرٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُوْنَ ١٣٠
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And certainly
- akhadhnā
- أَخَذْنَآ
- We seized
- āla
- ءَالَ
- (the) people
- fir'ʿawna
- فِرْعَوْنَ
- (of) Firaun
- bil-sinīna
- بِٱلسِّنِينَ
- with years (of famine)
- wanaqṣin
- وَنَقْصٍ
- and a deficit
- mina
- مِّنَ
- of
- l-thamarāti
- ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
- [the] fruits
- laʿallahum
- لَعَلَّهُمْ
- so that they may
- yadhakkarūna
- يَذَّكَّرُونَ
- receive admonition
And We certainly seized the people of Pharaoh with years of famine and a deficiency in fruits that perhaps they would be reminded. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 130)Tafsir
