فَوَيْلٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِيْنَۙ ١١
- fawaylun
- فَوَيْلٌ
- Then woe
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that Day
- lil'mukadhibīna
- لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
- to the deniers
Then woe, that Day, to the deniers, (QS. [52] At-Tur: 11)Tafsir

الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ فِيْ خَوْضٍ يَّلْعَبُوْنَۘ ١٢
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Who
- hum
- هُمْ
- [they]
- fī
- فِى
- in
- khawḍin
- خَوْضٍ
- (vain) discourse
- yalʿabūna
- يَلْعَبُونَ
- are playing
Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves. (QS. [52] At-Tur: 12)Tafsir
13
يَوْمَ يُدَعُّوْنَ اِلٰى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّاۗ ١٣
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (The) Day
- yudaʿʿūna
- يُدَعُّونَ
- they will be thrust
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- (in)to
- nāri
- نَارِ
- (the) Fire
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَ
- (of) Hell
- daʿʿan
- دَعًّا
- (with) a thrust
The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say], (QS. [52] At-Tur: 13)Tafsir
14
هٰذِهِ النَّارُ الَّتِيْ كُنْتُمْ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُوْنَ ١٤
- hādhihi
- هَٰذِهِ
- "This
- l-nāru
- ٱلنَّارُ
- (is) the Fire
- allatī
- ٱلَّتِى
- which
- kuntum
- كُنتُم
- you used (to)
- bihā
- بِهَا
- [of it]
- tukadhibūna
- تُكَذِّبُونَ
- deny
"This is the Fire which you used to deny. (QS. [52] At-Tur: 14)Tafsir
15
اَفَسِحْرٌ هٰذَآ اَمْ اَنْتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُوْنَ ١٥
- afasiḥ'run
- أَفَسِحْرٌ
- Then is this magic
- hādhā
- هَٰذَآ
- Then is this magic
- am
- أَمْ
- or
- antum
- أَنتُمْ
- you
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- tub'ṣirūna
- تُبْصِرُونَ
- see?
Then is this magic, or do you not see? (QS. [52] At-Tur: 15)Tafsir
16
اِصْلَوْهَا فَاصْبِرُوْٓا اَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوْاۚ سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَيْكُمْۗ اِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٦
- iṣ'lawhā
- ٱصْلَوْهَا
- Burn in it
- fa-iṣ'birū
- فَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟
- then be patient
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- taṣbirū
- تَصْبِرُوا۟
- be patient
- sawāon
- سَوَآءٌ
- (it is) same
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُمْۖ
- for you
- innamā
- إِنَّمَا
- Only
- tuj'zawna
- تُجْزَوْنَ
- you are being recompensed
- mā
- مَا
- (for) what
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you used (to)
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- do"
[Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient – it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do." (QS. [52] At-Tur: 16)Tafsir
17
اِنَّ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ فِيْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّنَعِيْمٍۙ ١٧
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-mutaqīna
- ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
- the righteous
- fī
- فِى
- (will be) in
- jannātin
- جَنَّٰتٍ
- Gardens
- wanaʿīmin
- وَنَعِيمٍ
- and pleasure
Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure, (QS. [52] At-Tur: 17)Tafsir
18
فَاكِهِيْنَ بِمَآ اٰتٰىهُمْ رَبُّهُمْۚ وَوَقٰىهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيْمِ ١٨
- fākihīna
- فَٰكِهِينَ
- Enjoying
- bimā
- بِمَآ
- in what
- ātāhum
- ءَاتَىٰهُمْ
- has given them
- rabbuhum
- رَبُّهُمْ
- their Lord
- wawaqāhum
- وَوَقَىٰهُمْ
- and protected them
- rabbuhum
- رَبُّهُمْ
- their Lord
- ʿadhāba
- عَذَابَ
- (from the) punishment
- l-jaḥīmi
- ٱلْجَحِيمِ
- (of) Hellfire
Enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire. (QS. [52] At-Tur: 18)Tafsir
19
كُلُوْا وَاشْرَبُوْا هَنِيْۤئًا ۢبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَۙ ١٩
- kulū
- كُلُوا۟
- "Eat
- wa-ish'rabū
- وَٱشْرَبُوا۟
- and drink
- hanīan
- هَنِيٓـًٔۢا
- (in) satisfaction
- bimā
- بِمَا
- for what
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you used (to)
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- do"
[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do." (QS. [52] At-Tur: 19)Tafsir
20
مُتَّكِـِٕيْنَ عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مَّصْفُوْفَةٍۚ وَزَوَّجْنٰهُمْ بِحُوْرٍ عِيْنٍ ٢٠
- muttakiīna
- مُتَّكِـِٔينَ
- Reclining
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- on
- sururin
- سُرُرٍ
- thrones
- maṣfūfatin
- مَّصْفُوفَةٍۖ
- lined up
- wazawwajnāhum
- وَزَوَّجْنَٰهُم
- and We will marry them
- biḥūrin
- بِحُورٍ
- to fair ones
- ʿīnin
- عِينٍ
- with large eyes
They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. (QS. [52] At-Tur: 20)Tafsir
