يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ اِذْ هَمَّ قَوْمٌ اَنْ يَّبْسُطُوْٓا اِلَيْكُمْ اَيْدِيَهُمْ فَكَفَّ اَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ ۗوَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ࣖ ١١

- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O you
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe!
- udh'kurū
- ٱذْكُرُوا۟
- Remember
- niʿ'mata
- نِعْمَتَ
- (the) Favor
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- upon you
- idh
- إِذْ
- when
- hamma
- هَمَّ
- (were) determined
- qawmun
- قَوْمٌ
- a people
- an
- أَن
- [to]
- yabsuṭū
- يَبْسُطُوٓا۟
- stretch
- ilaykum
- إِلَيْكُمْ
- towards you
- aydiyahum
- أَيْدِيَهُمْ
- their hands
- fakaffa
- فَكَفَّ
- but He restrained
- aydiyahum
- أَيْدِيَهُمْ
- their hands
- ʿankum
- عَنكُمْۖ
- from you
- wa-ittaqū
- وَٱتَّقُوا۟
- And fear
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَۚ
- Allah
- waʿalā
- وَعَلَى
- And upon
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- falyatawakkali
- فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ
- so let put the trust
- l-mu'minūna
- ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
- the believers
O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allah upon you when a people determined to extend their hands [in aggression] against you, but He withheld their hands from you; and fear Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely. (QS. [5] Al-Ma'idah: 11)Tafsir
۞ وَلَقَدْ اَخَذَ اللّٰهُ مِيْثَاقَ بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَۚ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنْهُمُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ نَقِيْبًاۗ وَقَالَ اللّٰهُ اِنِّيْ مَعَكُمْ ۗ لَىِٕنْ اَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتَيْتُمُ الزَّكٰوةَ وَاٰمَنْتُمْ بِرُسُلِيْ وَعَزَّرْتُمُوْهُمْ وَاَقْرَضْتُمُ اللّٰهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا لَّاُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّاٰتِكُمْ وَلَاُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُۚ فَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاۤءَ السَّبِيْلِ ١٢
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And certainly
- akhadha
- أَخَذَ
- took
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- mīthāqa
- مِيثَٰقَ
- a Covenant
- banī
- بَنِىٓ
- (from the) Children
- is'rāīla
- إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
- (of) Israel
- wabaʿathnā
- وَبَعَثْنَا
- and We appointed
- min'humu
- مِنْهُمُ
- among them
- ith'nay
- ٱثْنَىْ
- two
- ʿashara
- عَشَرَ
- (and) ten
- naqīban
- نَقِيبًاۖ
- leaders
- waqāla
- وَقَالَ
- And said
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- innī
- إِنِّى
- "Indeed, I (am)
- maʿakum
- مَعَكُمْۖ
- with you
- la-in
- لَئِنْ
- if
- aqamtumu
- أَقَمْتُمُ
- you establish
- l-ṣalata
- ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
- the prayer
- waātaytumu
- وَءَاتَيْتُمُ
- and give
- l-zakata
- ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
- the zakah
- waāmantum
- وَءَامَنتُم
- and you believe
- birusulī
- بِرُسُلِى
- in My Messengers
- waʿazzartumūhum
- وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ
- and you assist them
- wa-aqraḍtumu
- وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ
- and you loan
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- (to) Allah
- qarḍan
- قَرْضًا
- a loan
- ḥasanan
- حَسَنًا
- goodly
- la-ukaffiranna
- لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ
- surely I will remove
- ʿankum
- عَنكُمْ
- from you
- sayyiātikum
- سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ
- your evil deeds
- wala-ud'khilannakum
- وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ
- and I will surely admit you
- jannātin
- جَنَّٰتٍ
- (to) gardens
- tajrī
- تَجْرِى
- flow
- min
- مِن
- from
- taḥtihā
- تَحْتِهَا
- underneath them
- l-anhāru
- ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُۚ
- the rivers
- faman
- فَمَن
- But whoever
- kafara
- كَفَرَ
- disbelieved
- baʿda
- بَعْدَ
- after
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- minkum
- مِنكُمْ
- among you
- faqad
- فَقَدْ
- then certainly
- ḍalla
- ضَلَّ
- he strayed
- sawāa
- سَوَآءَ
- (from the) right
- l-sabīli
- ٱلسَّبِيلِ
- way
And Allah had already taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We delegated from among them twelve leaders. And Allah said, "I am with you. If you establish prayer and give Zakah and believe in My messengers and support them and loan Allah a goodly loan, I will surely remove from you your misdeeds and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way." (QS. [5] Al-Ma'idah: 12)Tafsir
فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِمْ مِّيْثَاقَهُمْ لَعَنّٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوْبَهُمْ قٰسِيَةً ۚ يُحَرِّفُوْنَ الْكَلِمَ عَنْ مَّوَاضِعِهٖۙ وَنَسُوْا حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوْا بِهٖۚ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلٰى خَاۤىِٕنَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا مِّنْهُمْ ۖ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاصْفَحْ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ ١٣
- fabimā
- فَبِمَا
- So for
- naqḍihim
- نَقْضِهِم
- their breaking
- mīthāqahum
- مِّيثَٰقَهُمْ
- (of) their covenant
- laʿannāhum
- لَعَنَّٰهُمْ
- We cursed them
- wajaʿalnā
- وَجَعَلْنَا
- and We made
- qulūbahum
- قُلُوبَهُمْ
- their hearts
- qāsiyatan
- قَٰسِيَةًۖ
- hard
- yuḥarrifūna
- يُحَرِّفُونَ
- They distort
- l-kalima
- ٱلْكَلِمَ
- the words
- ʿan
- عَن
- from
- mawāḍiʿihi
- مَّوَاضِعِهِۦۙ
- their places
- wanasū
- وَنَسُوا۟
- and forgot
- ḥaẓẓan
- حَظًّا
- a part
- mimmā
- مِّمَّا
- of what
- dhukkirū
- ذُكِّرُوا۟
- they were reminded
- bihi
- بِهِۦۚ
- of [it]
- walā
- وَلَا
- And not
- tazālu
- تَزَالُ
- will you cease
- taṭṭaliʿu
- تَطَّلِعُ
- to discover
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- of
- khāinatin
- خَآئِنَةٍ
- treachery
- min'hum
- مِّنْهُمْ
- from them
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- qalīlan
- قَلِيلًا
- a few
- min'hum
- مِّنْهُمْۖ
- of them
- fa-uʿ'fu
- فَٱعْفُ
- But forgive
- ʿanhum
- عَنْهُمْ
- them
- wa-iṣ'faḥ
- وَٱصْفَحْۚ
- and overlook
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- yuḥibbu
- يُحِبُّ
- loves
- l-muḥ'sinīna
- ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
- the good-doers
So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hardened. They distort words from their [proper] places [i.e., usages] and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good. (QS. [5] Al-Ma'idah: 13)Tafsir
وَمِنَ الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوْٓا اِنَّا نَصٰرٰٓى اَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَهُمْ فَنَسُوْا حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوْا بِهٖۖ فَاَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاۤءَ اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۗ وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَصْنَعُوْنَ ١٤
- wamina
- وَمِنَ
- And from
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- qālū
- قَالُوٓا۟
- said
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed we
- naṣārā
- نَصَٰرَىٰٓ
- (are) Christians"
- akhadhnā
- أَخَذْنَا
- We took
- mīthāqahum
- مِيثَٰقَهُمْ
- their covenant
- fanasū
- فَنَسُوا۟
- but they forgot
- ḥaẓẓan
- حَظًّا
- a part
- mimmā
- مِّمَّا
- of what
- dhukkirū
- ذُكِّرُوا۟
- they were reminded
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- of [it]
- fa-aghraynā
- فَأَغْرَيْنَا
- So We aroused
- baynahumu
- بَيْنَهُمُ
- between them
- l-ʿadāwata
- ٱلْعَدَاوَةَ
- [the] enmity
- wal-baghḍāa
- وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ
- and [the] hatred
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- till
- yawmi
- يَوْمِ
- (the) Day
- l-qiyāmati
- ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِۚ
- (of) the Resurrection
- wasawfa
- وَسَوْفَ
- And soon
- yunabbi-uhumu
- يُنَبِّئُهُمُ
- will inform them
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- bimā
- بِمَا
- of what
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used to
- yaṣnaʿūna
- يَصْنَعُونَ
- do
And from those who say, "We are Christians" We took their covenant; but they forgot a portion of that of which they were reminded. So We caused among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. And Allah is going to inform them about what they used to do. (QS. [5] Al-Ma'idah: 14)Tafsir
يٰٓاَهْلَ الْكِتٰبِ قَدْ جَاۤءَكُمْ رَسُوْلُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيْرًا مِّمَّا كُنْتُمْ تُخْفُوْنَ مِنَ الْكِتٰبِ وَيَعْفُوْا عَنْ كَثِيْرٍەۗ قَدْ جَاۤءَكُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ نُوْرٌ وَّكِتٰبٌ مُّبِيْنٌۙ ١٥
- yāahla
- يَٰٓأَهْلَ
- O People
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- (of) the Book!
- qad
- قَدْ
- Surely
- jāakum
- جَآءَكُمْ
- has come to you
- rasūlunā
- رَسُولُنَا
- Our Messenger
- yubayyinu
- يُبَيِّنُ
- making clear
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- to you
- kathīran
- كَثِيرًا
- much
- mimmā
- مِّمَّا
- of what
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you used to
- tukh'fūna
- تُخْفُونَ
- conceal
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- the Scripture
- wayaʿfū
- وَيَعْفُوا۟
- and overlooking
- ʿan
- عَن
- of
- kathīrin
- كَثِيرٍۚ
- much
- qad
- قَدْ
- Surely
- jāakum
- جَآءَكُم
- has come to you
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- nūrun
- نُورٌ
- a light
- wakitābun
- وَكِتَٰبٌ
- and a Book
- mubīnun
- مُّبِينٌ
- clear
O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book [i.e., the Quran] (QS. [5] Al-Ma'idah: 15)Tafsir
يَّهْدِيْ بِهِ اللّٰهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَهٗ سُبُلَ السَّلٰمِ وَيُخْرِجُهُمْ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَى النُّوْرِ بِاِذْنِهٖ وَيَهْدِيْهِمْ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ ١٦
- yahdī
- يَهْدِى
- Guides
- bihi
- بِهِ
- with it
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- mani
- مَنِ
- (those) who
- ittabaʿa
- ٱتَّبَعَ
- seek
- riḍ'wānahu
- رِضْوَٰنَهُۥ
- His pleasure
- subula
- سُبُلَ
- (to the) ways
- l-salāmi
- ٱلسَّلَٰمِ
- (of) the peace
- wayukh'rijuhum
- وَيُخْرِجُهُم
- and brings them out
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-ẓulumāti
- ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
- the darknessess
- ilā
- إِلَى
- to
- l-nūri
- ٱلنُّورِ
- the light
- bi-idh'nihi
- بِإِذْنِهِۦ
- by His permission
- wayahdīhim
- وَيَهْدِيهِمْ
- and guides them
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- ṣirāṭin
- صِرَٰطٍ
- (the) way
- mus'taqīmin
- مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
- (the) straight
By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path. (QS. [5] Al-Ma'idah: 16)Tafsir
لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوْٓا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْمَسِيْحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَۗ قُلْ فَمَنْ يَّمْلِكُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْـًٔا اِنْ اَرَادَ اَنْ يُّهْلِكَ الْمَسِيْحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَاُمَّهٗ وَمَنْ فِى الْاَرْضِ جَمِيْعًا ۗوَلِلّٰهِ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۗ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاۤءُ ۗوَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ١٧
- laqad
- لَّقَدْ
- Certainly
- kafara
- كَفَرَ
- disbelieved -
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- qālū
- قَالُوٓا۟
- said
- inna
- إِنَّ
- "Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- huwa
- هُوَ
- He
- l-masīḥu
- ٱلْمَسِيحُ
- (is) the Messiah
- ub'nu
- ٱبْنُ
- son
- maryama
- مَرْيَمَۚ
- (of) Maryam"
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- faman
- فَمَن
- "Then who
- yamliku
- يَمْلِكُ
- has power
- mina
- مِنَ
- against
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- shayan
- شَيْـًٔا
- (in) anything
- in
- إِنْ
- if
- arāda
- أَرَادَ
- He intends
- an
- أَن
- to
- yuh'lika
- يُهْلِكَ
- destroy
- l-masīḥa
- ٱلْمَسِيحَ
- the Messiah
- ib'na
- ٱبْنَ
- son
- maryama
- مَرْيَمَ
- (of) Maryam
- wa-ummahu
- وَأُمَّهُۥ
- and his mother
- waman
- وَمَن
- and whoever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- jamīʿan
- جَمِيعًاۗ
- all?"
- walillahi
- وَلِلَّهِ
- And for Allah
- mul'ku
- مُلْكُ
- (is the) dominion
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- baynahumā
- بَيْنَهُمَاۚ
- (is) between both of them
- yakhluqu
- يَخْلُقُ
- He creates
- mā
- مَا
- what
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُۚ
- He wills
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- and Allah
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (is) on
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- every
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- qadīrun
- قَدِيرٌ
- All-Powerful
They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent. (QS. [5] Al-Ma'idah: 17)Tafsir
وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُوْدُ وَالنَّصٰرٰى نَحْنُ اَبْنٰۤؤُ اللّٰهِ وَاَحِبَّاۤؤُهٗ ۗ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُمْ بِذُنُوْبِكُمْ ۗ بَلْ اَنْتُمْ بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَۗ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُۗ وَلِلّٰهِ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖوَاِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيْرُ ١٨
- waqālati
- وَقَالَتِ
- And said
- l-yahūdu
- ٱلْيَهُودُ
- the Jews
- wal-naṣārā
- وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ
- and the Christians
- naḥnu
- نَحْنُ
- "We (are)
- abnāu
- أَبْنَٰٓؤُا۟
- (the) children
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- wa-aḥibbāuhu
- وَأَحِبَّٰٓؤُهُۥۚ
- and His beloved"
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- falima
- فَلِمَ
- "Then why
- yuʿadhibukum
- يُعَذِّبُكُم
- (does He) punish you
- bidhunūbikum
- بِذُنُوبِكُمۖ
- for your sins?"
- bal
- بَلْ
- Nay
- antum
- أَنتُم
- you (are)
- basharun
- بَشَرٌ
- human beings
- mimman
- مِّمَّنْ
- from among (those)
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَۚ
- He created
- yaghfiru
- يَغْفِرُ
- He forgives
- liman
- لِمَن
- [for] whom
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُ
- He wills
- wayuʿadhibu
- وَيُعَذِّبُ
- and punishes
- man
- مَن
- whom
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُۚ
- He wills
- walillahi
- وَلِلَّهِ
- And for Allah
- mul'ku
- مُلْكُ
- (is the) dominion
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and whatever
- baynahumā
- بَيْنَهُمَاۖ
- (is) between them
- wa-ilayhi
- وَإِلَيْهِ
- and to Him
- l-maṣīru
- ٱلْمَصِيرُ
- (is) the final return
But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination. (QS. [5] Al-Ma'idah: 18)Tafsir
يٰٓاَهْلَ الْكِتٰبِ قَدْ جَاۤءَكُمْ رَسُوْلُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ عَلٰى فَتْرَةٍ مِّنَ الرُّسُلِ اَنْ تَقُوْلُوْا مَا جَاۤءَنَا مِنْۢ بَشِيْرٍ وَّلَا نَذِيْرٍۗ فَقَدْ جَاۤءَكُمْ بَشِيْرٌ وَّنَذِيْرٌ ۗوَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ࣖ ١٩
- yāahla
- يَٰٓأَهْلَ
- O People
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- (of) the Book!
- qad
- قَدْ
- Surely
- jāakum
- جَآءَكُمْ
- has come to you
- rasūlunā
- رَسُولُنَا
- Our Messenger
- yubayyinu
- يُبَيِّنُ
- he makes clear
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- to you
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- [on]
- fatratin
- فَتْرَةٍ
- (after) an interval (of cessation)
- mina
- مِّنَ
- of
- l-rusuli
- ٱلرُّسُلِ
- the Messengers
- an
- أَن
- lest
- taqūlū
- تَقُولُوا۟
- you say
- mā
- مَا
- "Not
- jāanā
- جَآءَنَا
- (has) come to us
- min
- مِنۢ
- any
- bashīrin
- بَشِيرٍ
- bearer of glad tidings
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- nadhīrin
- نَذِيرٍۖ
- a warner"
- faqad
- فَقَدْ
- But surely
- jāakum
- جَآءَكُم
- has come to you
- bashīrun
- بَشِيرٌ
- a bearer of glad tidings
- wanadhīrun
- وَنَذِيرٌۗ
- and a warner
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- And Allah
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (is) on
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- every
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- qadīrun
- قَدِيرٌ
- All-Powerful
O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is over all things competent. (QS. [5] Al-Ma'idah: 19)Tafsir
وَاِذْ قَالَ مُوْسٰى لِقَوْمِهٖ يٰقَوْمِ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَةَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ اِذْ جَعَلَ فِيْكُمْ اَنْۢبِيَاۤءَ وَجَعَلَكُمْ مُّلُوْكًاۙ وَّاٰتٰىكُمْ مَّا لَمْ يُؤْتِ اَحَدًا مِّنَ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٢٠
- wa-idh
- وَإِذْ
- And when
- qāla
- قَالَ
- said
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰ
- Musa
- liqawmihi
- لِقَوْمِهِۦ
- to his people
- yāqawmi
- يَٰقَوْمِ
- "O my people
- udh'kurū
- ٱذْكُرُوا۟
- remember
- niʿ'mata
- نِعْمَةَ
- (the) Favor
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- upon you
- idh
- إِذْ
- when
- jaʿala
- جَعَلَ
- He placed
- fīkum
- فِيكُمْ
- among you
- anbiyāa
- أَنۢبِيَآءَ
- Prophets
- wajaʿalakum
- وَجَعَلَكُم
- and made you
- mulūkan
- مُّلُوكًا
- kings
- waātākum
- وَءَاتَىٰكُم
- and He gave you
- mā
- مَّا
- what
- lam
- لَمْ
- not
- yu'ti
- يُؤْتِ
- He (had) given
- aḥadan
- أَحَدًا
- (to) anyone
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-ʿālamīna
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- the worlds
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, remember the favor of Allah upon you when He appointed among you prophets and made you possessors and gave you that which He had not given anyone among the worlds. (QS. [5] Al-Ma'idah: 20)Tafsir
