21
وَاِنْ لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوْا لِيْ فَاعْتَزِلُوْنِ ٢١
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- And if
- lam
- لَّمْ
- not
- tu'minū
- تُؤْمِنُوا۟
- you believe
- lī
- لِى
- me
- fa-iʿ'tazilūni
- فَٱعْتَزِلُونِ
- then leave me alone"
But if you do not believe me, then leave me alone." (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 21)Tafsir
22
فَدَعَا رَبَّهٗٓ اَنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ قَوْمٌ مُّجْرِمُوْنَ ٢٢
- fadaʿā
- فَدَعَا
- So he called
- rabbahu
- رَبَّهُۥٓ
- his Lord
- anna
- أَنَّ
- "That
- hāulāi
- هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
- these
- qawmun
- قَوْمٌ
- (are) a people
- muj'rimūna
- مُّجْرِمُونَ
- criminals"
And [finally] he called to his Lord that these were a criminal people. (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 22)Tafsir
23
فَاَسْرِ بِعِبَادِيْ لَيْلًا اِنَّكُمْ مُّتَّبَعُوْنَۙ ٢٣
- fa-asri
- فَأَسْرِ
- Then Set out
- biʿibādī
- بِعِبَادِى
- with My slaves
- laylan
- لَيْلًا
- (by) night
- innakum
- إِنَّكُم
- Indeed you
- muttabaʿūna
- مُّتَّبَعُونَ
- (will be) followed
[Allah said], "Then set out with My servants by night. Indeed, you are to be pursued. (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 23)Tafsir
24
وَاتْرُكِ الْبَحْرَ رَهْوًاۗ اِنَّهُمْ جُنْدٌ مُّغْرَقُوْنَ ٢٤
- wa-ut'ruki
- وَٱتْرُكِ
- And leave
- l-baḥra
- ٱلْبَحْرَ
- the sea
- rahwan
- رَهْوًاۖ
- at rest
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- Indeed they
- jundun
- جُندٌ
- (are) an army
- mugh'raqūna
- مُّغْرَقُونَ
- (to be) drowned"
And leave the sea in stillness. Indeed, they are an army to be drowned." (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 24)Tafsir
25
كَمْ تَرَكُوْا مِنْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍۙ ٢٥
- kam
- كَمْ
- How many
- tarakū
- تَرَكُوا۟
- (did) they leave
- min
- مِن
- of
- jannātin
- جَنَّٰتٍ
- gardens
- waʿuyūnin
- وَعُيُونٍ
- and springs
How much they left behind of gardens and springs (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 25)Tafsir
26
وَّزُرُوْعٍ وَّمَقَامٍ كَرِيْمٍۙ ٢٦
- wazurūʿin
- وَزُرُوعٍ
- And cornfields
- wamaqāmin
- وَمَقَامٍ
- and places
- karīmin
- كَرِيمٍ
- noble
And crops and noble sites (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 26)Tafsir
27
وَّنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوْا فِيْهَا فٰكِهِيْنَۙ ٢٧
- wanaʿmatin
- وَنَعْمَةٍ
- And pleasant things
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used (to)
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- fākihīna
- فَٰكِهِينَ
- take delight!
And comfort wherein they were amused. (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 27)Tafsir
28
كَذٰلِكَ ۗوَاَوْرَثْنٰهَا قَوْمًا اٰخَرِيْنَۚ ٢٨
- kadhālika
- كَذَٰلِكَۖ
- Thus
- wa-awrathnāhā
- وَأَوْرَثْنَٰهَا
- And We made it (an) inherit(ance)
- qawman
- قَوْمًا
- (for) a people
- ākharīna
- ءَاخَرِينَ
- another
Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people. (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 28)Tafsir
29
فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاۤءُ وَالْاَرْضُۗ وَمَا كَانُوْا مُنْظَرِيْنَ ࣖ ٢٩
- famā
- فَمَا
- And not
- bakat
- بَكَتْ
- wept
- ʿalayhimu
- عَلَيْهِمُ
- for them
- l-samāu
- ٱلسَّمَآءُ
- the heaven
- wal-arḍu
- وَٱلْأَرْضُ
- and the earth
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they were
- munẓarīna
- مُنظَرِينَ
- given respite
And the heaven and earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved. (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 29)Tafsir
30
وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِيْنِۙ ٣٠
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And certainly
- najjaynā
- نَجَّيْنَا
- We saved
- banī
- بَنِىٓ
- (the) Children of Israel
- is'rāīla
- إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
- (the) Children of Israel
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-ʿadhābi
- ٱلْعَذَابِ
- the punishment
- l-muhīni
- ٱلْمُهِينِ
- the humiliating
And We certainly saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment – (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 30)Tafsir
