نَحْنُ اَوْلِيَاۤؤُكُمْ فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِى الْاٰخِرَةِ ۚوَلَكُمْ فِيْهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيْٓ اَنْفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيْهَا مَا تَدَّعُوْنَ ۗ ٣١
- naḥnu
- نَحْنُ
- We
- awliyāukum
- أَوْلِيَآؤُكُمْ
- (are) your protectors
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ḥayati
- ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
- the life
- l-dun'yā
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- (of) the world
- wafī
- وَفِى
- and in
- l-ākhirati
- ٱلْءَاخِرَةِۖ
- the Hereafter
- walakum
- وَلَكُمْ
- And for you
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- mā
- مَا
- whatever
- tashtahī
- تَشْتَهِىٓ
- desire
- anfusukum
- أَنفُسُكُمْ
- your souls
- walakum
- وَلَكُمْ
- and for you
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- mā
- مَا
- what
- taddaʿūna
- تَدَّعُونَ
- you ask
We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish] (QS. [41] Fussilat: 31)Tafsir
نُزُلًا مِّنْ غَفُوْرٍ رَّحِيْمٍ ࣖ ٣٢
- nuzulan
- نُزُلًا
- A hospitable gift
- min
- مِّنْ
- from
- ghafūrin
- غَفُورٍ
- (the) Oft-Forgiving
- raḥīmin
- رَّحِيمٍ
- (the) Most Merciful"
As accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful." (QS. [41] Fussilat: 32)Tafsir
وَمَنْ اَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِّمَّنْ دَعَآ اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَّقَالَ اِنَّنِيْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ ٣٣
- waman
- وَمَنْ
- And who
- aḥsanu
- أَحْسَنُ
- (is) better
- qawlan
- قَوْلًا
- (in) speech
- mimman
- مِّمَّن
- than (one) who
- daʿā
- دَعَآ
- invites
- ilā
- إِلَى
- to
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- waʿamila
- وَعَمِلَ
- and does
- ṣāliḥan
- صَٰلِحًا
- righteous (deeds)
- waqāla
- وَقَالَ
- and says
- innanī
- إِنَّنِى
- "Indeed I am
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-mus'limīna
- ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
- those who submit?"
And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims." (QS. [41] Fussilat: 33)Tafsir
وَلَا تَسْتَوِى الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ۗاِدْفَعْ بِالَّتِيْ هِيَ اَحْسَنُ فَاِذَا الَّذِيْ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهٗ عَدَاوَةٌ كَاَنَّهٗ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيْمٌ ٣٤
- walā
- وَلَا
- And not
- tastawī
- تَسْتَوِى
- are equal
- l-ḥasanatu
- ٱلْحَسَنَةُ
- the good (deed)
- walā
- وَلَا
- and
- l-sayi-atu
- ٱلسَّيِّئَةُۚ
- the evil (deed)
- id'faʿ
- ٱدْفَعْ
- Repel
- bi-allatī
- بِٱلَّتِى
- by (that) which
- hiya
- هِىَ
- [it]
- aḥsanu
- أَحْسَنُ
- (is) better;
- fa-idhā
- فَإِذَا
- then behold!
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- One who
- baynaka
- بَيْنَكَ
- between you
- wabaynahu
- وَبَيْنَهُۥ
- and between him
- ʿadāwatun
- عَدَٰوَةٌ
- (was) enmity
- ka-annahu
- كَأَنَّهُۥ
- as if he
- waliyyun
- وَلِىٌّ
- (was) a friend
- ḥamīmun
- حَمِيمٌ
- intimate
And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon, the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend. (QS. [41] Fussilat: 34)Tafsir
وَمَا يُلَقّٰىهَآ اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ صَبَرُوْاۚ وَمَا يُلَقّٰىهَآ اِلَّا ذُوْ حَظٍّ عَظِيْمٍ ٣٥
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- yulaqqāhā
- يُلَقَّىٰهَآ
- it is granted
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (to) those who
- ṣabarū
- صَبَرُوا۟
- (are) patient
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- yulaqqāhā
- يُلَقَّىٰهَآ
- it is granted
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- dhū
- ذُو
- (to the) owner
- ḥaẓẓin
- حَظٍّ
- (of) fortune
- ʿaẓīmin
- عَظِيمٍ
- great
But none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except one having a great portion [of good]. (QS. [41] Fussilat: 35)Tafsir
وَاِمَّا يَنْزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطٰنِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّٰهِ ۗاِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ ٣٦
- wa-immā
- وَإِمَّا
- And if
- yanzaghannaka
- يَنزَغَنَّكَ
- whisper comes to you
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-shayṭāni
- ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ
- the Shaitan
- nazghun
- نَزْغٌ
- an evil suggestion
- fa-is'taʿidh
- فَٱسْتَعِذْ
- then seek refuge
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِۖ
- in Allah
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- huwa
- هُوَ
- [He]
- l-samīʿu
- ٱلسَّمِيعُ
- (is) the All-Hearer
- l-ʿalīmu
- ٱلْعَلِيمُ
- the All-Knower
And if there comes to you from Satan an evil suggestion, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. (QS. [41] Fussilat: 36)Tafsir
وَمِنْ اٰيٰتِهِ الَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُۗ لَا تَسْجُدُوْا لِلشَّمْسِ وَلَا لِلْقَمَرِ وَاسْجُدُوْا لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَهُنَّ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ اِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُوْنَ ٣٧
- wamin
- وَمِنْ
- And of
- āyātihi
- ءَايَٰتِهِ
- His Signs
- al-laylu
- ٱلَّيْلُ
- (are) the night
- wal-nahāru
- وَٱلنَّهَارُ
- and the day
- wal-shamsu
- وَٱلشَّمْسُ
- and the sun
- wal-qamaru
- وَٱلْقَمَرُۚ
- and the moon
- lā
- لَا
- (Do) not
- tasjudū
- تَسْجُدُوا۟
- prostrate
- lilshamsi
- لِلشَّمْسِ
- to the sun
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- lil'qamari
- لِلْقَمَرِ
- to the moon
- wa-us'judū
- وَٱسْجُدُوا۟
- but prostrate
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- to Allah
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- the One Who
- khalaqahunna
- خَلَقَهُنَّ
- created them
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you
- iyyāhu
- إِيَّاهُ
- Him alone
- taʿbudūna
- تَعْبُدُونَ
- worship
And of His signs are the night and day and the sun and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostrate to Allah, who created them, if it should be Him that you worship. (QS. [41] Fussilat: 37)Tafsir
فَاِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوْا فَالَّذِيْنَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُوْنَ لَهٗ بِالَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْـَٔمُوْنَ ۩ ٣٨
- fa-ini
- فَإِنِ
- But if
- is'takbarū
- ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟
- they are arrogant
- fa-alladhīna
- فَٱلَّذِينَ
- then those who
- ʿinda
- عِندَ
- (are) near
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- your Lord
- yusabbiḥūna
- يُسَبِّحُونَ
- glorify
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- Him
- bi-al-layli
- بِٱلَّيْلِ
- by night
- wal-nahāri
- وَٱلنَّهَارِ
- and day
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- And they
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- yasamūna
- يَسْـَٔمُونَ۩
- tire
But if they are arrogant – then those who are near your Lord [i.e., the angels] exalt Him by night and by day, and they do not become weary. (QS. [41] Fussilat: 38)Tafsir
وَمِنْ اٰيٰتِهٖٓ اَنَّكَ تَرَى الْاَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَاِذَآ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاۤءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْۗ اِنَّ الَّذِيْٓ اَحْيَاهَا لَمُحْيِ الْمَوْتٰى ۗاِنَّهٗ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ٣٩
- wamin
- وَمِنْ
- And among
- āyātihi
- ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ
- His Signs
- annaka
- أَنَّكَ
- (is) that you
- tarā
- تَرَى
- see
- l-arḍa
- ٱلْأَرْضَ
- the earth
- khāshiʿatan
- خَٰشِعَةً
- barren
- fa-idhā
- فَإِذَآ
- but when
- anzalnā
- أَنزَلْنَا
- We send down
- ʿalayhā
- عَلَيْهَا
- upon it
- l-māa
- ٱلْمَآءَ
- water
- ih'tazzat
- ٱهْتَزَّتْ
- it is stirred (to life)
- warabat
- وَرَبَتْۚ
- and grows
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِىٓ
- the One Who
- aḥyāhā
- أَحْيَاهَا
- gives it life
- lamuḥ'yī
- لَمُحْىِ
- (is) surely the Giver of life
- l-mawtā
- ٱلْمَوْتَىٰٓۚ
- (to) the dead
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (is) on
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- every
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- qadīrun
- قَدِيرٌ
- All-Powerful
And of His signs is that you see the earth stilled, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. Indeed, He who has given it life is the Giver of Life to the dead. Indeed, He is over all things competent. (QS. [41] Fussilat: 39)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يُلْحِدُوْنَ فِيْٓ اٰيٰتِنَا لَا يَخْفَوْنَ عَلَيْنَاۗ اَفَمَنْ يُّلْقٰى فِى النَّارِ خَيْرٌ اَمَّنْ يَّأْتِيْٓ اٰمِنًا يَّوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۗاِعْمَلُوْا مَا شِئْتُمْ ۙاِنَّهٗ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ ٤٠
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- yul'ḥidūna
- يُلْحِدُونَ
- distort
- fī
- فِىٓ
- [in]
- āyātinā
- ءَايَٰتِنَا
- Our Verses
- lā
- لَا
- (are) not
- yakhfawna
- يَخْفَوْنَ
- hidden
- ʿalaynā
- عَلَيْنَآۗ
- from Us
- afaman
- أَفَمَن
- So is (he) who
- yul'qā
- يُلْقَىٰ
- is cast
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-nāri
- ٱلنَّارِ
- the Fire
- khayrun
- خَيْرٌ
- better
- am
- أَم
- or
- man
- مَّن
- (he) who
- yatī
- يَأْتِىٓ
- comes
- āminan
- ءَامِنًا
- secure
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (on the) Day
- l-qiyāmati
- ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِۚ
- (of) Resurrection?
- iʿ'malū
- ٱعْمَلُوا۟
- Do
- mā
- مَا
- what
- shi'tum
- شِئْتُمْۖ
- you will
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- bimā
- بِمَا
- of what
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- you do
- baṣīrun
- بَصِيرٌ
- (is) All-Seer
Indeed, those who inject deviation into Our verses are not concealed from Us. So, is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do whatever you will; indeed, He is Seeing of what you do. (QS. [41] Fussilat: 40)Tafsir
