In that case, We would certainly have given them a great reward.

And then, that is, had they confirmed themselves, We would have surely given them from Us a great wage, that is, Paradise.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

وَإِذاً لاَّتَيْنَاهُم مِّن لَّدُنَّـا

And indeed We should then have bestowed upon them from Ladunna, (from Us)

أَجْراً عَظِيمًا



A great reward, (Paradise).

وَلَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ صِرَاطًا مُّسْتَقِيمًا
