وَّاَخْذِهِمُ الرِّبٰوا وَقَدْ نُهُوْا عَنْهُ وَاَكْلِهِمْ اَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ ۗوَاَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًا ١٦١
- wa-akhdhihimu
- وَأَخْذِهِمُ
- And for their taking
- l-riba
- ٱلرِّبَوٰا۟
- (of) [the] usury
- waqad
- وَقَدْ
- while certainly
- nuhū
- نُهُوا۟
- they were forbidden
- ʿanhu
- عَنْهُ
- from it
- wa-aklihim
- وَأَكْلِهِمْ
- and (for) their consuming
- amwāla
- أَمْوَٰلَ
- wealth
- l-nāsi
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- (of) the people
- bil-bāṭili
- بِٱلْبَٰطِلِۚ
- wrongfully
- wa-aʿtadnā
- وَأَعْتَدْنَا
- And We have prepared
- lil'kāfirīna
- لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- for the disbelievers
- min'hum
- مِنْهُمْ
- among them
- ʿadhāban
- عَذَابًا
- a punishment
- alīman
- أَلِيمًا
- painful
And [for] their taking of usury while they had been forbidden from it, and their consuming of the people's wealth unjustly. And We have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful punishment. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 161)Tafsir
لٰكِنِ الرَّاسِخُوْنَ فِى الْعِلْمِ مِنْهُمْ وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِمَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ وَمَآ اُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَالْمُقِيْمِيْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَالْمُؤْتُوْنَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ سَنُؤْتِيْهِمْ اَجْرًا عَظِيْمًا ࣖ ١٦٢
- lākini
- لَّٰكِنِ
- But
- l-rāsikhūna
- ٱلرَّٰسِخُونَ
- the ones who are firm
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ʿil'mi
- ٱلْعِلْمِ
- the knowledge
- min'hum
- مِنْهُمْ
- among them
- wal-mu'minūna
- وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
- and the believers
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
- bimā
- بِمَآ
- in what
- unzila
- أُنزِلَ
- (is) revealed
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَ
- to you
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- and what
- unzila
- أُنزِلَ
- was revealed
- min
- مِن
- from
- qablika
- قَبْلِكَۚ
- before you
- wal-muqīmīna
- وَٱلْمُقِيمِينَ
- And the ones who establish
- l-ṣalata
- ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ
- the prayer
- wal-mu'tūna
- وَٱلْمُؤْتُونَ
- and the ones who give
- l-zakata
- ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
- the zakah
- wal-mu'minūna
- وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
- and the ones who believe
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- in Allah
- wal-yawmi
- وَٱلْيَوْمِ
- and the Day
- l-ākhiri
- ٱلْءَاخِرِ
- the Last
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- those
- sanu'tīhim
- سَنُؤْتِيهِمْ
- We will give them
- ajran
- أَجْرًا
- a reward
- ʿaẓīman
- عَظِيمًا
- great
But those firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you. And the establishers of prayer [especially] and the givers of Zakah and the believers in Allah and the Last Day – those We will give a great reward. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 162)Tafsir
۞ اِنَّآ اَوْحَيْنَآ اِلَيْكَ كَمَآ اَوْحَيْنَآ اِلٰى نُوْحٍ وَّالنَّبِيّٖنَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖۚ وَاَوْحَيْنَآ اِلٰٓى اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَاِسْمٰعِيْلَ وَاِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوْبَ وَالْاَسْبَاطِ وَعِيْسٰى وَاَيُّوْبَ وَيُوْنُسَ وَهٰرُوْنَ وَسُلَيْمٰنَ ۚوَاٰتَيْنَا دَاوٗدَ زَبُوْرًاۚ ١٦٣
- innā
- إِنَّآ
- Indeed, We
- awḥaynā
- أَوْحَيْنَآ
- have revealed
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَ
- to you
- kamā
- كَمَآ
- as
- awḥaynā
- أَوْحَيْنَآ
- We revealed
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- nūḥin
- نُوحٍ
- Nuh
- wal-nabiyīna
- وَٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ
- and the Prophets
- min
- مِنۢ
- from
- baʿdihi
- بَعْدِهِۦۚ
- after him
- wa-awḥaynā
- وَأَوْحَيْنَآ
- and We revealed
- ilā
- إِلَىٰٓ
- to
- ib'rāhīma
- إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
- Ibrahim
- wa-is'māʿīla
- وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ
- and Ismail
- wa-is'ḥāqa
- وَإِسْحَٰقَ
- and Ishaq
- wayaʿqūba
- وَيَعْقُوبَ
- and Yaqub
- wal-asbāṭi
- وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ
- and the tribes
- waʿīsā
- وَعِيسَىٰ
- and Isa
- wa-ayyūba
- وَأَيُّوبَ
- and Ayub
- wayūnusa
- وَيُونُسَ
- and Yunus
- wahārūna
- وَهَٰرُونَ
- and Harun
- wasulaymāna
- وَسُلَيْمَٰنَۚ
- and Sulaiman
- waātaynā
- وَءَاتَيْنَا
- and We gave
- dāwūda
- دَاوُۥدَ
- Dawood
- zabūran
- زَبُورًا
- the Zaboor
Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms]. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 163)Tafsir
وَرُسُلًا قَدْ قَصَصْنٰهُمْ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَرُسُلًا لَّمْ نَقْصُصْهُمْ عَلَيْكَ ۗوَكَلَّمَ اللّٰهُ مُوْسٰى تَكْلِيْمًاۚ ١٦٤
- warusulan
- وَرُسُلًا
- And Messengers
- qad
- قَدْ
- surely
- qaṣaṣnāhum
- قَصَصْنَٰهُمْ
- We (have) mentioned them
- ʿalayka
- عَلَيْكَ
- to you
- min
- مِن
- from
- qablu
- قَبْلُ
- before
- warusulan
- وَرُسُلًا
- and Messengers
- lam
- لَّمْ
- not
- naqṣuṣ'hum
- نَقْصُصْهُمْ
- We (have) mentioned them
- ʿalayka
- عَلَيْكَۚ
- to you
- wakallama
- وَكَلَّمَ
- And spoke
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰ
- (to) Musa
- taklīman
- تَكْلِيمًا
- (in a) conversation
And [We sent] messengers about whom We have related [their stories] to you before and messengers about whom We have not related to you. And Allah spoke to Moses with [direct] speech. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 164)Tafsir
رُسُلًا مُّبَشِّرِيْنَ وَمُنْذِرِيْنَ لِئَلَّا يَكُوْنَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى اللّٰهِ حُجَّةٌ ۢ بَعْدَ الرُّسُلِ ۗوَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَزِيْزًا حَكِيْمًا ١٦٥
- rusulan
- رُّسُلًا
- Messengers
- mubashirīna
- مُّبَشِّرِينَ
- bearers of glad tidings
- wamundhirīna
- وَمُنذِرِينَ
- and warners
- li-allā
- لِئَلَّا
- so that not
- yakūna
- يَكُونَ
- there is
- lilnnāsi
- لِلنَّاسِ
- for the mankind
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- against
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- ḥujjatun
- حُجَّةٌۢ
- any argument
- baʿda
- بَعْدَ
- after
- l-rusuli
- ٱلرُّسُلِۚ
- the Messengers
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- And is
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- ʿazīzan
- عَزِيزًا
- All-Mighty
- ḥakīman
- حَكِيمًا
- All-Wise
[We sent] messengers as bringers of good tidings and warners so that mankind will have no argument against Allah after the messengers. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 165)Tafsir
لٰكِنِ اللّٰهُ يَشْهَدُ بِمَآ اَنْزَلَ اِلَيْكَ اَنْزَلَهٗ بِعِلْمِهٖ ۚوَالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ يَشْهَدُوْنَ ۗوَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ شَهِيْدًاۗ ١٦٦
- lākini
- لَّٰكِنِ
- But
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- yashhadu
- يَشْهَدُ
- bears witness
- bimā
- بِمَآ
- to what
- anzala
- أَنزَلَ
- He (has) revealed
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَۖ
- to you
- anzalahu
- أَنزَلَهُۥ
- He has sent it down
- biʿil'mihi
- بِعِلْمِهِۦۖ
- with His Knowledge
- wal-malāikatu
- وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
- and the Angels
- yashhadūna
- يَشْهَدُونَۚ
- bear witness
- wakafā
- وَكَفَىٰ
- And is sufficient
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- shahīdan
- شَهِيدًا
- (as) a Witness
But Allah bears witness to that which He has revealed to you. He has sent it down with His knowledge, and the angels bear witness [as well]. And sufficient is Allah as Witness. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 166)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ قَدْ ضَلُّوْا ضَلٰلًا ۢ بَعِيْدًا ١٦٧
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve
- waṣaddū
- وَصَدُّوا۟
- and hinder
- ʿan
- عَن
- from
- sabīli
- سَبِيلِ
- (the) way
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- qad
- قَدْ
- surely
- ḍallū
- ضَلُّوا۟
- they have strayed
- ḍalālan
- ضَلَٰلًۢا
- straying
- baʿīdan
- بَعِيدًا
- far away
Indeed, those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah have certainly gone far astray. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 167)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَظَلَمُوْا لَمْ يَكُنِ اللّٰهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلَا لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ طَرِيْقًاۙ ١٦٨
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- waẓalamū
- وَظَلَمُوا۟
- and did wrong
- lam
- لَمْ
- not
- yakuni
- يَكُنِ
- will
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- liyaghfira
- لِيَغْفِرَ
- [to] forgive
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- them
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- liyahdiyahum
- لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ
- He will guide them
- ṭarīqan
- طَرِيقًا
- (to) a way
Indeed, those who disbelieve and commit wrong [or injustice] – never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a path, (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 168)Tafsir
اِلَّا طَرِيْقَ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَبَدًا ۗوَكَانَ ذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ يَسِيْرًا ١٦٩
- illā
- إِلَّا
- Except
- ṭarīqa
- طَرِيقَ
- (the) way
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَ
- (to) Hell
- khālidīna
- خَٰلِدِينَ
- abiding
- fīhā
- فِيهَآ
- in it
- abadan
- أَبَدًاۚ
- forever
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- And is
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- for
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- yasīran
- يَسِيرًا
- easy
Except the path of Hell; they will abide therein forever. And that, for Allah, is [always] easy. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 169)Tafsir
يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاۤءَكُمُ الرَّسُوْلُ بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ رَّبِّكُمْ فَاٰمِنُوْا خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ ۗوَاِنْ تَكْفُرُوْا فَاِنَّ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًا ١٧٠
- yāayyuhā
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O
- l-nāsu
- ٱلنَّاسُ
- mankind!
- qad
- قَدْ
- Surely
- jāakumu
- جَآءَكُمُ
- has come to you
- l-rasūlu
- ٱلرَّسُولُ
- the Messenger
- bil-ḥaqi
- بِٱلْحَقِّ
- with the truth
- min
- مِن
- from
- rabbikum
- رَّبِّكُمْ
- your Lord
- faāminū
- فَـَٔامِنُوا۟
- so believe
- khayran
- خَيْرًا
- (it is) better
- lakum
- لَّكُمْۚ
- for you
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- But if
- takfurū
- تَكْفُرُوا۟
- you disbelieve
- fa-inna
- فَإِنَّ
- then indeed
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- to Allah (belongs)
- mā
- مَا
- whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ
- and the earth
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- And is
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- ʿalīman
- عَلِيمًا
- All-Knowing
- ḥakīman
- حَكِيمًا
- All-Wise
O mankind, the Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe; it is better for you. But if you disbelieve – then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. And ever is Allah Knowing and Wise. (QS. [4] An-Nisa: 170)Tafsir
