Al-Qur'an Surah Sad Verse 49

This is a reminder (of what has passed). And surely the God-fearing will have the best place to return:

This is a Reminder, and indeed the Godwary have a good destination:

All this is a remembrance (of the excellence of those We have mentioned and an instruction for people). For the God-revering, pious there is an excellent abode of return:

This (narrative) is the way to eminence. Behold! there awaits the righteous a beautiful and excellent resort;

That is a reminder, and that truly to the fearing and obeying (is a) good/beautiful (E) return.

This is an advice; and indeed for the pious is an excellent abode.

Tafsir jalalayn

This is a remembrance, of them, [made] by [the mention of] fair praise [of them] here; and indeed for the God-fearing, who comprise them, there will truly be a fair return, in the Hereafter --

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

هَذَا ذِكْرٌ

This is a Reminder,

means, a reminder to those who will be reminded.

As-Suddi said,

"This means the Holy Qur'an."
The Final Return of the Blessed

Allah tells us that His blessed, believing servants will have a good final return in

وَإِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسْنَ مَأبٍ


And verily, for those who have Taqwa is a good final return.

Allah tells us that His blessed, believing servants will have a good final return in the Hereafter, which means their ultimate destination.

Then He explains it further, as He says
