مُتَّكِـِٕيْنَ فِيْهَا يَدْعُوْنَ فِيْهَا بِفَاكِهَةٍ كَثِيْرَةٍ وَّشَرَابٍ ٥١
- muttakiīna
- مُتَّكِـِٔينَ
- Reclining
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- yadʿūna
- يَدْعُونَ
- they will call
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- bifākihatin
- بِفَٰكِهَةٍ
- for fruit
- kathīratin
- كَثِيرَةٍ
- many
- washarābin
- وَشَرَابٍ
- and drink
Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink. (QS. [38] Sad: 51)Tafsir
52
وَعِنْدَهُمْ قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرْفِ اَتْرَابٌ ٥٢
- waʿindahum
- وَعِندَهُمْ
- And with them
- qāṣirātu
- قَٰصِرَٰتُ
- (will be) companions of modest gaze
- l-ṭarfi
- ٱلطَّرْفِ
- (will be) companions of modest gaze
- atrābun
- أَتْرَابٌ
- well-matched
And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. (QS. [38] Sad: 52)Tafsir
53
هٰذَا مَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ لِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ ٥٣
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- This
- mā
- مَا
- (is) what
- tūʿadūna
- تُوعَدُونَ
- you are promised
- liyawmi
- لِيَوْمِ
- for (the) Day
- l-ḥisābi
- ٱلْحِسَابِ
- (of) Account
This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. (QS. [38] Sad: 53)Tafsir
54
اِنَّ هٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهٗ مِنْ نَّفَادٍۚ ٥٤
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- this
- lariz'qunā
- لَرِزْقُنَا
- (is) surely Our provision;
- mā
- مَا
- not
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- for it
- min
- مِن
- any
- nafādin
- نَّفَادٍ
- depletion
Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. (QS. [38] Sad: 54)Tafsir
55
هٰذَا ۗوَاِنَّ لِلطّٰغِيْنَ لَشَرَّ مَاٰبٍۙ ٥٥
- hādhā
- هَٰذَاۚ
- This (is so)!
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- lilṭṭāghīna
- لِلطَّٰغِينَ
- for the transgressors
- lasharra
- لَشَرَّ
- surely (is) an evil
- maābin
- مَـَٔابٍ
- place of return
This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return – (QS. [38] Sad: 55)Tafsir
56
جَهَنَّمَۚ يَصْلَوْنَهَاۚ فَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ ٥٦
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَ
- Hell;
- yaṣlawnahā
- يَصْلَوْنَهَا
- they will burn therein
- fabi'sa
- فَبِئْسَ
- and wretched is
- l-mihādu
- ٱلْمِهَادُ
- the resting place
Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. (QS. [38] Sad: 56)Tafsir
57
هٰذَاۙ فَلْيَذُوْقُوْهُ حَمِيْمٌ وَّغَسَّاقٌۙ ٥٧
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- This (is so)!
- falyadhūqūhu
- فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ
- Then let them taste it
- ḥamīmun
- حَمِيمٌ
- boiling fluid
- waghassāqun
- وَغَسَّاقٌ
- and purulence
This – so let them taste it – is scalding water and [foul] purulence. (QS. [38] Sad: 57)Tafsir
58
وَّاٰخَرُ مِنْ شَكْلِهٖٓ اَزْوَاجٌۗ ٥٨
- waākharu
- وَءَاخَرُ
- And other
- min
- مِن
- of
- shaklihi
- شَكْلِهِۦٓ
- its type
- azwājun
- أَزْوَٰجٌ
- (of various) kinds
And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. (QS. [38] Sad: 58)Tafsir
59
هٰذَا فَوْجٌ مُّقْتَحِمٌ مَّعَكُمْۚ لَا مَرْحَبًا ۢبِهِمْ ۗ اِنَّهُمْ صَالُوا النَّارِ ٥٩
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- This
- fawjun
- فَوْجٌ
- (is) a company
- muq'taḥimun
- مُّقْتَحِمٌ
- bursting in
- maʿakum
- مَّعَكُمْۖ
- with you
- lā
- لَا
- No
- marḥaban
- مَرْحَبًۢا
- welcome
- bihim
- بِهِمْۚ
- for them
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- Indeed they
- ṣālū
- صَالُوا۟
- (will) burn
- l-nāri
- ٱلنَّارِ
- (in) the Fire
[Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." (QS. [38] Sad: 59)Tafsir
60
قَالُوْا بَلْ اَنْتُمْ لَا مَرْحَبًاۢ بِكُمْ ۗ اَنْتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوْهُ لَنَاۚ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرَارُ ٦٠

- They say

- "Nay!

- أَنتُمْ
- You -

- no
- marḥaban
- مَرْحَبًۢا
- welcome
- bikum
- بِكُمْۖ
- for you
- antum
- أَنتُمْ
- You
- qaddamtumūhu
- قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ
- brought this
- lanā
- لَنَاۖ
- upon us
- fabi'sa
- فَبِئْسَ
- So wretched is
- l-qarāru
- ٱلْقَرَارُ
- the settlement"
They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." (QS. [38] Sad: 60)Tafsir
