Al-Qur'an Surah An-Naml Verse 67
An-Naml [27]: 67 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْٓا ءَاِذَا كُنَّا تُرَابًا وَّاٰبَاۤؤُنَآ اَىِٕنَّا لَمُخْرَجُوْنَ (النمل : ٢٧)
- waqāla
- وَقَالَ
- And say
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوٓا۟
- disbelieve
- a-idhā
- أَءِذَا
- "What when
- kunnā
- كُنَّا
- we have become
- turāban
- تُرَٰبًا
- dust
- waābāunā
- وَءَابَآؤُنَآ
- and our forefathers
- a-innā
- أَئِنَّا
- will we
- lamukh'rajūna
- لَمُخْرَجُونَ
- surely be brought out?
Transliteration:
Wa qaalal lazeena kafarooo 'a-izaa kunnaa turaabanw wa aabaaa'unaaa a'innaa lamukhrajoon(QS. an-Naml:67)
English / Sahih Translation:
And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? (QS. An-Naml, ayah 67)

And the disbelievers say, also in rejecting the [idea of] resurrection; `What! When we and our fathers are dust shall we indeed be brought forth [again]?, from the graves.

Scepticism about the Resurrection and Its Refutation
Allah tells;
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَيِذَا كُنَّا تُرَابًا وَابَاوُنَا أَيِنَّا لَمُخْرَجُونَ
And those who disbelieve say;"When we have become dust -- we and our fathers -- shall we really be brought forth!"
Allah tells us about the idolators who deny the Resurrection, considering it extremely unlikely that bodies will be re-created after they have become bones and dust.
Then He says;
