81
وَالَّذِيْ يُمِيْتُنِيْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيْنِ ۙ ٨١
- wa-alladhī
- وَٱلَّذِى
- And the One Who
- yumītunī
- يُمِيتُنِى
- will cause me to die
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- yuḥ'yīni
- يُحْيِينِ
- he will give me life
And who will cause me to die and then bring me to life. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 81)Tafsir
82
وَالَّذِيْٓ اَطْمَعُ اَنْ يَّغْفِرَ لِيْ خَطِيْۤـَٔتِيْ يَوْمَ الدِّيْنِ ۗ ٨٢
- wa-alladhī
- وَٱلَّذِىٓ
- And the One Who -
- aṭmaʿu
- أَطْمَعُ
- I hope
- an
- أَن
- that
- yaghfira
- يَغْفِرَ
- He will forgive
- lī
- لِى
- for me
- khaṭīatī
- خَطِيٓـَٔتِى
- my faults
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (on the) Day
- l-dīni
- ٱلدِّينِ
- (of) the Judgment
And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense." (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 82)Tafsir
83
رَبِّ هَبْ لِيْ حُكْمًا وَّاَلْحِقْنِيْ بِالصّٰلِحِيْنَ ۙ ٨٣
- rabbi
- رَبِّ
- My Lord!
- hab
- هَبْ
- Grant
- lī
- لِى
- [for] me
- ḥuk'man
- حُكْمًا
- wisdom
- wa-alḥiq'nī
- وَأَلْحِقْنِى
- and join me
- bil-ṣāliḥīna
- بِٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
- with the righteous
[And he said], "My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 83)Tafsir
84
وَاجْعَلْ لِّيْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِى الْاٰخِرِيْنَ ۙ ٨٤
- wa-ij'ʿal
- وَٱجْعَل
- And grant
- lī
- لِّى
- [for] me
- lisāna
- لِسَانَ
- a mention
- ṣid'qin
- صِدْقٍ
- (of) honor
- fī
- فِى
- among
- l-ākhirīna
- ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
- the later (generations)
And grant me a mention [i.e., reputation] of honor among later generations. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 84)Tafsir
85
وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ وَّرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيْمِ ۙ ٨٥
- wa-ij'ʿalnī
- وَٱجْعَلْنِى
- And make me
- min
- مِن
- of
- warathati
- وَرَثَةِ
- (the) inheritors
- jannati
- جَنَّةِ
- (of) Garden(s)
- l-naʿīmi
- ٱلنَّعِيمِ
- (of) Delight
And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 85)Tafsir
86
وَاغْفِرْ لِاَبِيْٓ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّاۤلِّيْنَ ۙ ٨٦
- wa-igh'fir
- وَٱغْفِرْ
- And forgive
- li-abī
- لِأَبِىٓ
- my father
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed he
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-ḍālīna
- ٱلضَّآلِّينَ
- those astray
And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 86)Tafsir
87
وَلَا تُخْزِنِيْ يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُوْنَۙ ٨٧
- walā
- وَلَا
- And (do) not
- tukh'zinī
- تُخْزِنِى
- disgrace me
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (on the) Day
- yub'ʿathūna
- يُبْعَثُونَ
- they are resurrected
And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 87)Tafsir
88
يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَّلَا بَنُوْنَ ۙ ٨٨
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (The) Day
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yanfaʿu
- يَنفَعُ
- will benefit
- mālun
- مَالٌ
- wealth
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- banūna
- بَنُونَ
- sons
The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 88)Tafsir
89
اِلَّا مَنْ اَتَى اللّٰهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيْمٍ ۗ ٨٩
- illā
- إِلَّا
- Except
- man
- مَنْ
- (he) who
- atā
- أَتَى
- comes
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- (to) Allah
- biqalbin
- بِقَلْبٍ
- with a heart
- salīmin
- سَلِيمٍ
- sound"
But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart." (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 89)Tafsir
90
وَاُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ ۙ ٩٠
- wa-uz'lifati
- وَأُزْلِفَتِ
- And (will be) brought near
- l-janatu
- ٱلْجَنَّةُ
- the Paradise
- lil'muttaqīna
- لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
- for the righteous
And Paradise will be brought near [that Day] to the righteous. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 90)Tafsir
