وَلَا تُطِيْعُوْٓا اَمْرَ الْمُسْرِفِيْنَ ۙ ١٥١
- walā
- وَلَا
- And (do) not
- tuṭīʿū
- تُطِيعُوٓا۟
- obey
- amra
- أَمْرَ
- (the) command
- l-mus'rifīna
- ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
- (of) the transgressors
And do not obey the order of the transgressors, (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 151)Tafsir
152
الَّذِيْنَ يُفْسِدُوْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُوْنَ ١٥٢
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- yuf'sidūna
- يُفْسِدُونَ
- spread corruption
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- walā
- وَلَا
- and (do) not
- yuṣ'liḥūna
- يُصْلِحُونَ
- reform"
Who cause corruption in the land and do not amend." (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 152)Tafsir

قَالُوْٓا اِنَّمَآ اَنْتَ مِنَ الْمُسَحَّرِيْنَ ۙ ١٥٣

- قَالُوٓا۟
- They said
- innamā
- إِنَّمَآ
- "Only
- anta
- أَنتَ
- you
- mina
- مِنَ
- (are) of
- l-musaḥarīna
- ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ
- those bewitched
They said, "You are only of those affected by magic. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 153)Tafsir

مَآ اَنْتَ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَاۙ فَأْتِ بِاٰيَةٍ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ ١٥٤
- mā
- مَآ
- Not
- anta
- أَنتَ
- you
- illā
- إِلَّا
- (are) except
- basharun
- بَشَرٌ
- a man
- mith'lunā
- مِّثْلُنَا
- like us
- fati
- فَأْتِ
- so bring
- biāyatin
- بِـَٔايَةٍ
- a sign
- in
- إِن
- if
- kunta
- كُنتَ
- you
- mina
- مِنَ
- (are) of
- l-ṣādiqīna
- ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
- the truthful"
You are but a man like ourselves, so bring a sign, if you should be of the truthful." (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 154)Tafsir

قَالَ هٰذِهٖ نَاقَةٌ لَّهَا شِرْبٌ وَّلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُوْمٍ ۚ ١٥٥
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- hādhihi
- هَٰذِهِۦ
- "This
- nāqatun
- نَاقَةٌ
- (is) a she-camel
- lahā
- لَّهَا
- For her
- shir'bun
- شِرْبٌ
- (is a share of) drink
- walakum
- وَلَكُمْ
- and for you
- shir'bu
- شِرْبُ
- (is a share of) drink
- yawmin
- يَوْمٍ
- (on) a day
- maʿlūmin
- مَّعْلُومٍ
- known
He said, "This is a she-camel. For her is a [time of] drink, and for you is a [time of] drink, [each] on a known day. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 155)Tafsir
156
وَلَا تَمَسُّوْهَا بِسُوْۤءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ ١٥٦
- walā
- وَلَا
- And (do) not
- tamassūhā
- تَمَسُّوهَا
- touch her
- bisūin
- بِسُوٓءٍ
- with harm
- fayakhudhakum
- فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ
- lest seize you
- ʿadhābu
- عَذَابُ
- (the) punishment
- yawmin
- يَوْمٍ
- (of) a Day
- ʿaẓīmin
- عَظِيمٍ
- Great"
And do not touch her with harm, lest you be seized by the punishment of a terrible day." (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 156)Tafsir
157
فَعَقَرُوْهَا فَاَصْبَحُوْا نٰدِمِيْنَ ۙ ١٥٧
- faʿaqarūhā
- فَعَقَرُوهَا
- But they hamstrung her
- fa-aṣbaḥū
- فَأَصْبَحُوا۟
- then they became
- nādimīna
- نَٰدِمِينَ
- regretful
But they hamstrung her and so became regretful. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 157)Tafsir
158
فَاَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُۗ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً ۗوَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٥٨
- fa-akhadhahumu
- فَأَخَذَهُمُ
- So seized them
- l-ʿadhābu
- ٱلْعَذَابُۗ
- the punishment
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- fī
- فِى
- in
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- laāyatan
- لَءَايَةًۖ
- surely is a sign
- wamā
- وَمَا
- but not
- kāna
- كَانَ
- are
- aktharuhum
- أَكْثَرُهُم
- most of them
- mu'minīna
- مُّؤْمِنِينَ
- believers
And the punishment seized them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 158)Tafsir
159
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ࣖ ١٥٩
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- rabbaka
- رَبَّكَ
- your Lord
- lahuwa
- لَهُوَ
- surely He
- l-ʿazīzu
- ٱلْعَزِيزُ
- (is) the All-Mighty
- l-raḥīmu
- ٱلرَّحِيمُ
- the Most Merciful
And indeed, your Lord – He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 159)Tafsir

كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوْطِ ِۨالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ ۖ ١٦٠
- kadhabat
- كَذَّبَتْ
- Denied

- (the) people

- لُوطٍ
- (of) Lut
- l-mur'salīna
- ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
- the Messengers
The people of Lot denied the messengers. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 160)Tafsir
