تِلْكَ اٰيٰتُ الْكِتٰبِ الْمُبِيْنِ ٢
- til'ka
- تِلْكَ
- These
- āyātu
- ءَايَٰتُ
- (are the) Verses
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- (of) the Book
- l-mubīni
- ٱلْمُبِينِ
- clear
These are the verses of the clear Book. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 2)Tafsir
3
لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ اَلَّا يَكُوْنُوْا مُؤْمِنِيْنَ ٣
- laʿallaka
- لَعَلَّكَ
- Perhaps you
- bākhiʿun
- بَٰخِعٌ
- (would) kill
- nafsaka
- نَّفْسَكَ
- yourself
- allā
- أَلَّا
- that not
- yakūnū
- يَكُونُوا۟
- they become
- mu'minīna
- مُؤْمِنِينَ
- believers
Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 3)Tafsir
4
اِنْ نَّشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ اٰيَةً فَظَلَّتْ اَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خَاضِعِيْنَ ٤
- in
- إِن
- If
- nasha
- نَّشَأْ
- We will
- nunazzil
- نُنَزِّلْ
- We can send down
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِم
- to them
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the sky
- āyatan
- ءَايَةً
- a Sign
- faẓallat
- فَظَلَّتْ
- so would bend
- aʿnāquhum
- أَعْنَٰقُهُمْ
- their necks
- lahā
- لَهَا
- to it
- khāḍiʿīna
- خَٰضِعِينَ
- (in) humility
If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 4)Tafsir
5
وَمَا يَأْتِيْهِمْ مِّنْ ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ الرَّحْمٰنِ مُحْدَثٍ اِلَّا كَانُوْا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِيْنَ ٥
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And (does) not
- yatīhim
- يَأْتِيهِم
- come to them
- min
- مِّن
- any
- dhik'rin
- ذِكْرٍ
- reminder
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-raḥmāni
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ
- the Most Gracious
- muḥ'dathin
- مُحْدَثٍ
- new
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they
- ʿanhu
- عَنْهُ
- from it
- muʿ'riḍīna
- مُعْرِضِينَ
- turn away
And no mention [i.e., revelation] comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 5)Tafsir
6
فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوْا فَسَيَأْتِيْهِمْ اَنْۢبـٰۤؤُا مَا كَانُوْا بِهٖ يَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ٦
- faqad
- فَقَدْ
- So verily
- kadhabū
- كَذَّبُوا۟
- they have denied
- fasayatīhim
- فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ
- then will come to them
- anbāu
- أَنۢبَٰٓؤُا۟
- the news
- mā
- مَا
- (of) what
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- at it
- yastahziūna
- يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
- (to) mock
For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 6)Tafsir

اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اِلَى الْاَرْضِ كَمْ اَنْۢبَتْنَا فِيْهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيْمٍ ٧
- awalam
- أَوَلَمْ
- Do not
- yaraw
- يَرَوْا۟
- they see
- ilā
- إِلَى
- at
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth -
- kam
- كَمْ
- how many
- anbatnā
- أَنۢبَتْنَا
- We produced
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- in it
- min
- مِن
- of
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- every
- zawjin
- زَوْجٍ
- kind
- karīmin
- كَرِيمٍ
- noble
Did they not look at the earth – how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 7)Tafsir
8
اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةًۗ وَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ٨
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- fī
- فِى
- in
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- laāyatan
- لَءَايَةًۖ
- surely (is) a sign
- wamā
- وَمَا
- but not
- kāna
- كَانَ
- are
- aktharuhum
- أَكْثَرُهُم
- most of them
- mu'minīna
- مُّؤْمِنِينَ
- believers
Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 8)Tafsir
9
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ࣖ ٩
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- rabbaka
- رَبَّكَ
- your Lord
- lahuwa
- لَهُوَ
- surely He
- l-ʿazīzu
- ٱلْعَزِيزُ
- (is) the All-Mighty
- l-raḥīmu
- ٱلرَّحِيمُ
- the Most Merciful
And indeed, your Lord – He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 9)Tafsir
10
وَاِذْ نَادٰى رَبُّكَ مُوْسٰٓى اَنِ ائْتِ الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ۙ ١٠
- wa-idh
- وَإِذْ
- And when
- nādā
- نَادَىٰ
- your Lord called
- rabbuka
- رَبُّكَ
- your Lord called
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰٓ
- Musa
- ani
- أَنِ
- [that]
- i'ti
- ٱئْتِ
- "Go
- l-qawma
- ٱلْقَوْمَ
- (to) the people
- l-ẓālimīna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
- (who are) wrongdoers
And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people – (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 10)Tafsir
