وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِيْنَ سَخِرُوْا مِنْهُمْ مَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ يَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ࣖ ٤١
- walaqadi
- وَلَقَدِ
- And verily
- us'tuh'zi-a
- ٱسْتُهْزِئَ
- were mocked
- birusulin
- بِرُسُلٍ
- Messengers
- min
- مِّن
- before you
- qablika
- قَبْلِكَ
- before you
- faḥāqa
- فَحَاقَ
- then surrounded
- bi-alladhīna
- بِٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- sakhirū
- سَخِرُوا۟
- mocked
- min'hum
- مِنْهُم
- from them
- mā
- مَّا
- what
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- at it
- yastahziūna
- يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
- (to) mock
And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by what they used to ridicule. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 41)Tafsir
قُلْ مَنْ يَّكْلَؤُكُمْ بِالَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مِنَ الرَّحْمٰنِۗ بَلْ هُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِمْ مُّعْرِضُوْنَ ٤٢
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- man
- مَن
- "Who
- yakla-ukum
- يَكْلَؤُكُم
- (can) protect you
- bi-al-layli
- بِٱلَّيْلِ
- in the night
- wal-nahāri
- وَٱلنَّهَارِ
- and the day
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-raḥmāni
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِۗ
- the Most Gracious?"
- bal
- بَلْ
- Yet
- hum
- هُمْ
- they
- ʿan
- عَن
- from
- dhik'ri
- ذِكْرِ
- (the) remembrance
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِم
- (of) their Lord
- muʿ'riḍūna
- مُّعْرِضُونَ
- turn away
Say, "Who can protect you at night or by day from the Most Merciful?" But they are, from the remembrance of their Lord, turning away. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 42)Tafsir
اَمْ لَهُمْ اٰلِهَةٌ تَمْنَعُهُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِنَاۗ لَا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ نَصْرَ اَنْفُسِهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ مِّنَّا يُصْحَبُوْنَ ٤٣
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- have they
- ālihatun
- ءَالِهَةٌ
- gods
- tamnaʿuhum
- تَمْنَعُهُم
- (to) defend them
- min
- مِّن
- from
- dūninā
- دُونِنَاۚ
- Us?
- lā
- لَا
- Not
- yastaṭīʿūna
- يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
- they are able
- naṣra
- نَصْرَ
- (to) help
- anfusihim
- أَنفُسِهِمْ
- themselves
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- hum
- هُم
- they
- minnā
- مِّنَّا
- from Us
- yuṣ'ḥabūna
- يُصْحَبُونَ
- can be protected
Or do they have gods to defend them other than Us? They are unable [even] to help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 43)Tafsir
بَلْ مَتَّعْنَا هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ وَاٰبَاۤءَهُمْ حَتّٰى طَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعُمُرُۗ اَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ اَنَّا نَأْتِى الْاَرْضَ نَنْقُصُهَا مِنْ اَطْرَافِهَاۗ اَفَهُمُ الْغٰلِبُوْنَ ٤٤
- bal
- بَلْ
- Nay
- mattaʿnā
- مَتَّعْنَا
- We gave provision
- hāulāi
- هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
- (to) these
- waābāahum
- وَءَابَآءَهُمْ
- and their fathers
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- ṭāla
- طَالَ
- grew long
- ʿalayhimu
- عَلَيْهِمُ
- for them
- l-ʿumuru
- ٱلْعُمُرُۗ
- the life
- afalā
- أَفَلَا
- Then do not
- yarawna
- يَرَوْنَ
- they see
- annā
- أَنَّا
- that We
- natī
- نَأْتِى
- We come
- l-arḍa
- ٱلْأَرْضَ
- (to) the land
- nanquṣuhā
- نَنقُصُهَا
- We reduce it
- min
- مِنْ
- from
- aṭrāfihā
- أَطْرَافِهَآۚ
- its borders?
- afahumu
- أَفَهُمُ
- So is (it) they
- l-ghālibūna
- ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ
- (who will be) overcoming?
But, [on the contrary], We have provided good things for these [disbelievers] and their fathers until life was prolonged for them. Then do they not see that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? Is it they who will overcome? (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 44)Tafsir
قُلْ اِنَّمَآ اُنْذِرُكُمْ بِالْوَحْيِۖ وَلَا يَسْمَعُ الصُّمُّ الدُّعَاۤءَ اِذَا مَا يُنْذَرُوْنَ ٤٥

- قُلْ
- Say
- innamā
- إِنَّمَآ
- "Only
- undhirukum
- أُنذِرُكُم
- I warn you
- bil-waḥyi
- بِٱلْوَحْىِۚ
- by the revelation"
- walā
- وَلَا
- But not
- yasmaʿu
- يَسْمَعُ
- hear
- l-ṣumu
- ٱلصُّمُّ
- the deaf
- l-duʿāa
- ٱلدُّعَآءَ
- the call
- idhā
- إِذَا
- when
- mā
- مَا
- when
- yundharūna
- يُنذَرُونَ
- they are warned
Say, "I only warn you by revelation." But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 45)Tafsir
وَلَىِٕنْ مَّسَّتْهُمْ نَفْحَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُوْلُنَّ يٰوَيْلَنَآ اِنَّا كُنَّا ظٰلِمِيْنَ ٤٦
- wala-in
- وَلَئِن
- And if
- massathum
- مَّسَّتْهُمْ
- touches them
- nafḥatun
- نَفْحَةٌ
- a whiff
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- ʿadhābi
- عَذَابِ
- (the) punishment
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- (of) your Lord
- layaqūlunna
- لَيَقُولُنَّ
- surely they will say
- yāwaylanā
- يَٰوَيْلَنَآ
- "O woe to us!
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed we
- kunnā
- كُنَّا
- [we] were
- ẓālimīna
- ظَٰلِمِينَ
- wrongdoers"
And if [as much as] a whiff of the punishment of your Lord should touch them, they would surely say, "O woe to us! Indeed, we have been wrongdoers." (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 46)Tafsir
وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَازِيْنَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔاۗ وَاِنْ كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ اَتَيْنَا بِهَاۗ وَكَفٰى بِنَا حَاسِبِيْنَ ٤٧
- wanaḍaʿu
- وَنَضَعُ
- And We set
- l-mawāzīna
- ٱلْمَوَٰزِينَ
- the scales
- l-qis'ṭa
- ٱلْقِسْطَ
- (of) the justice
- liyawmi
- لِيَوْمِ
- for (the) Day
- l-qiyāmati
- ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
- (of) the Resurrection
- falā
- فَلَا
- so not
- tuẓ'lamu
- تُظْلَمُ
- will be wronged
- nafsun
- نَفْسٌ
- any soul
- shayan
- شَيْـًٔاۖ
- (in) anything
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- And if
- kāna
- كَانَ
- (there) be
- mith'qāla
- مِثْقَالَ
- weight
- ḥabbatin
- حَبَّةٍ
- (of) a seed
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- khardalin
- خَرْدَلٍ
- a mustard
- ataynā
- أَتَيْنَا
- We will bring
- bihā
- بِهَاۗ
- [with] it
- wakafā
- وَكَفَىٰ
- And sufficient
- binā
- بِنَا
- (are) We
- ḥāsibīna
- حَٰسِبِينَ
- (as) Reckoners
And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 47)Tafsir
وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا مُوْسٰى وَهٰرُوْنَ الْفُرْقَانَ وَضِيَاۤءً وَّذِكْرًا لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَ ۙ ٤٨
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And verily
- ātaynā
- ءَاتَيْنَا
- We gave
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰ
- Musa
- wahārūna
- وَهَٰرُونَ
- and Harun
- l-fur'qāna
- ٱلْفُرْقَانَ
- the Criterion
- waḍiyāan
- وَضِيَآءً
- and a light
- wadhik'ran
- وَذِكْرًا
- and a Reminder
- lil'muttaqīna
- لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
- for the righteous
And We had already given Moses and Aaron the criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 48)Tafsir
الَّذِيْنَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ وَهُمْ مِّنَ السَّاعَةِ مُشْفِقُوْنَ ٤٩
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- yakhshawna
- يَخْشَوْنَ
- fear
- rabbahum
- رَبَّهُم
- their Lord
- bil-ghaybi
- بِٱلْغَيْبِ
- in the unseen
- wahum
- وَهُم
- and they
- mina
- مِّنَ
- of
- l-sāʿati
- ٱلسَّاعَةِ
- the Hour
- mush'fiqūna
- مُشْفِقُونَ
- (are) afraid
Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 49)Tafsir
وَهٰذَا ذِكْرٌ مُّبٰرَكٌ اَنْزَلْنٰهُۗ اَفَاَنْتُمْ لَهٗ مُنْكِرُوْنَ ࣖ ٥٠
- wahādhā
- وَهَٰذَا
- And this
- dhik'run
- ذِكْرٌ
- (is) a Reminder
- mubārakun
- مُّبَارَكٌ
- blessed
- anzalnāhu
- أَنزَلْنَٰهُۚ
- which We (have) revealed
- afa-antum
- أَفَأَنتُمْ
- Then are you
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- of it
- munkirūna
- مُنكِرُونَ
- rejecters?
And this [Quran] is a blessed message which We have sent down. Then are you with it unacquainted? (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 50)Tafsir
