        فَلَمَّآ اَتٰىهَا نُوْدِيَ يٰمُوْسٰٓى ۙ ١١
- falammā
 - فَلَمَّآ
 - Then when
 
- atāhā
 - أَتَىٰهَا
 - he came to it
 
- nūdiya
 - نُودِىَ
 - he was called
 
- yāmūsā
 - يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ
 - "O Musa
 
And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, (QS. [20] Taha: 11)Tafsir
            12
        
        اِنِّيْٓ اَنَا۠ رَبُّكَ فَاخْلَعْ نَعْلَيْكَۚ اِنَّكَ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى ۗ ١٢
- innī
 - إِنِّىٓ
 - Indeed [I]
 
- anā
 - أَنَا۠
 - I Am
 
- rabbuka
 - رَبُّكَ
 - your Lord
 
- fa-ikh'laʿ
 - فَٱخْلَعْ
 - so remove
 
- naʿlayka
 - نَعْلَيْكَۖ
 - your shoes
 
- innaka
 - إِنَّكَ
 - Indeed you
 
- bil-wādi
 - بِٱلْوَادِ
 - (are) in the valley
 
- l-muqadasi
 - ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ
 - the sacred
 
- ṭuwan
 - طُوًى
 - (of) Tuwa
 
Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the blessed valley of Tuwa. (QS. [20] Taha: 12)Tafsir
            13
        
        وَاَنَا اخْتَرْتُكَ فَاسْتَمِعْ لِمَا يُوْحٰى ١٣
- wa-anā
 - وَأَنَا
 - And I
 
- ikh'tartuka
 - ٱخْتَرْتُكَ
 - (have) chosen you
 
- fa-is'tamiʿ
 - فَٱسْتَمِعْ
 - so listen
 
- limā
 - لِمَا
 - to what
 
- yūḥā
 - يُوحَىٰٓ
 - is revealed
 
And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. (QS. [20] Taha: 13)Tafsir
            14
        
        اِنَّنِيْٓ اَنَا اللّٰهُ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّآ اَنَا۠ فَاعْبُدْنِيْۙ وَاَقِمِ الصَّلٰوةَ لِذِكْرِيْ ١٤
- innanī
 - إِنَّنِىٓ
 - Indeed [I]
 
- anā
 - أَنَا
 - I Am
 
- l-lahu
 - ٱللَّهُ
 - Allah
 
- lā
 - لَآ
 - (There is) no
 
- ilāha
 - إِلَٰهَ
 - god
 
- illā
 - إِلَّآ
 - but
 
- anā
 - أَنَا۠
 - I
 
- fa-uʿ'bud'nī
 - فَٱعْبُدْنِى
 - so worship Me
 
- wa-aqimi
 - وَأَقِمِ
 - and establish
 
- l-ṣalata
 - ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
 - the prayer
 
- lidhik'rī
 - لِذِكْرِىٓ
 - for My remembrance
 
Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. (QS. [20] Taha: 14)Tafsir
            15
        
        اِنَّ السَّاعَةَ اٰتِيَةٌ اَكَادُ اُخْفِيْهَا لِتُجْزٰى كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ بِمَا تَسْعٰى ١٥
- inna
 - إِنَّ
 - Indeed
 
- l-sāʿata
 - ٱلسَّاعَةَ
 - the Hour
 
- ātiyatun
 - ءَاتِيَةٌ
 - (will be) coming
 
- akādu
 - أَكَادُ
 - I almost
 
- ukh'fīhā
 - أُخْفِيهَا
 - [I] hide it
 
- lituj'zā
 - لِتُجْزَىٰ
 - that may be recompensed
 
- kullu
 - كُلُّ
 - every
 
- nafsin
 - نَفْسٍۭ
 - soul
 
- bimā
 - بِمَا
 - for what
 
- tasʿā
 - تَسْعَىٰ
 - it strives
 
Indeed, the Hour is coming – I almost conceal it – so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. (QS. [20] Taha: 15)Tafsir
            16
        
        فَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا مَنْ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوٰىهُ فَتَرْدٰى ١٦
- falā
 - فَلَا
 - So (do) not
 
- yaṣuddannaka
 - يَصُدَّنَّكَ
 - (let) avert you
 
- ʿanhā
 - عَنْهَا
 - from it
 
- man
 - مَن
 - (one) who
 
- lā
 - لَّا
 - (does) not
 
- yu'minu
 - يُؤْمِنُ
 - believe
 
- bihā
 - بِهَا
 - in it
 
- wa-ittabaʿa
 - وَٱتَّبَعَ
 - and follows
 
- hawāhu
 - هَوَىٰهُ
 - his desires
 
- fatardā
 - فَتَرْدَىٰ
 - lest you perish
 
So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish. (QS. [20] Taha: 16)Tafsir
            17
        
        وَمَا تِلْكَ بِيَمِيْنِكَ يٰمُوْسٰى ١٧
- wamā
 - وَمَا
 - And what
 
- til'ka
 - تِلْكَ
 - (is) that
 
- biyamīnika
 - بِيَمِينِكَ
 - in your right hand
 
- yāmūsā
 - يَٰمُوسَىٰ
 - O Musa?"
 
And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" (QS. [20] Taha: 17)Tafsir
            18
        
        قَالَ هِيَ عَصَايَۚ اَتَوَكَّؤُا عَلَيْهَا وَاَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلٰى غَنَمِيْ وَلِيَ فِيْهَا مَاٰرِبُ اُخْرٰى ١٨
- qāla
 - قَالَ
 - He said
 
- hiya
 - هِىَ
 - "It
 
- ʿaṣāya
 - عَصَاىَ
 - (is) my staff;
 
- atawakka-u
 - أَتَوَكَّؤُا۟
 - I lean
 
- ʿalayhā
 - عَلَيْهَا
 - upon it
 
- wa-ahushu
 - وَأَهُشُّ
 - and I bring down leaves
 
- bihā
 - بِهَا
 - with it
 
- ʿalā
 - عَلَىٰ
 - for
 
- ghanamī
 - غَنَمِى
 - my sheep
 
- waliya
 - وَلِىَ
 - and for me
 
- fīhā
 - فِيهَا
 - in it
 
- maāribu
 - مَـَٔارِبُ
 - (are) uses
 
- ukh'rā
 - أُخْرَىٰ
 - other"
 
He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." (QS. [20] Taha: 18)Tafsir
            19
        
        قَالَ اَلْقِهَا يٰمُوْسٰى ١٩
- qāla
 - قَالَ
 - He said
 
- alqihā
 - أَلْقِهَا
 - "Throw it down
 
- yāmūsā
 - يَٰمُوسَىٰ
 - O Musa!"
 
[Allah] said, "Throw it down, O Moses." (QS. [20] Taha: 19)Tafsir
            20
        
        فَاَلْقٰىهَا فَاِذَا هِيَ حَيَّةٌ تَسْعٰى ٢٠
- fa-alqāhā
 - فَأَلْقَىٰهَا
 - So he threw it down
 
- fa-idhā
 - فَإِذَا
 - and behold!
 
- hiya
 - هِىَ
 - It
 
- ḥayyatun
 - حَيَّةٌ
 - (was) a snake
 
- tasʿā
 - تَسْعَىٰ
 - moving swiftly
 
So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly. (QS. [20] Taha: 20)Tafsir
