خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهِ ۗوَسَاۤءَ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ حِمْلًاۙ ١٠١
- khālidīna
- خَٰلِدِينَ
- Abiding forever
- fīhi
- فِيهِۖ
- in it
- wasāa
- وَسَآءَ
- and evil
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (on the) Day
- l-qiyāmati
- ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
- (of) the Resurrection
- ḥim'lan
- حِمْلًا
- (as) a load
[Abiding] eternally therein, and evil it is for them on the Day of Resurrection as a load – (QS. [20] Taha: 101)Tafsir
يَّوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِى الصُّوْرِ وَنَحْشُرُ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ زُرْقًا ۖ ١٠٢
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (The) Day
- yunfakhu
- يُنفَخُ
- will be blown
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ṣūri
- ٱلصُّورِۚ
- the Trumpet
- wanaḥshuru
- وَنَحْشُرُ
- and We will gather
- l-muj'rimīna
- ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
- the criminals
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that Day
- zur'qan
- زُرْقًا
- blue-eyed
The Day the Horn will be blown. And We will gather the criminals, that Day, blue-eyed. (QS. [20] Taha: 102)Tafsir
يَّتَخَافَتُوْنَ بَيْنَهُمْ اِنْ لَّبِثْتُمْ اِلَّا عَشْرًا ١٠٣
- yatakhāfatūna
- يَتَخَٰفَتُونَ
- They are murmuring
- baynahum
- بَيْنَهُمْ
- among themselves
- in
- إِن
- "Not
- labith'tum
- لَّبِثْتُمْ
- you remained
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except (for)
- ʿashran
- عَشْرًا
- ten"
They will murmur among themselves, "You remained not but ten [days in the world]." (QS. [20] Taha: 103)Tafsir
نَحْنُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُوْلُوْنَ اِذْ يَقُوْلُ اَمْثَلُهُمْ طَرِيْقَةً اِنْ لَّبِثْتُمْ اِلَّا يَوْمًا ࣖ ١٠٤
- naḥnu
- نَّحْنُ
- We
- aʿlamu
- أَعْلَمُ
- know best
- bimā
- بِمَا
- what
- yaqūlūna
- يَقُولُونَ
- they will say
- idh
- إِذْ
- when
- yaqūlu
- يَقُولُ
- will say
- amthaluhum
- أَمْثَلُهُمْ
- (the) best of them
- ṭarīqatan
- طَرِيقَةً
- (in) conduct
- in
- إِن
- "Not
- labith'tum
- لَّبِثْتُمْ
- you remained
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except (for)
- yawman
- يَوْمًا
- a day"
We are most knowing of what they say when the best of them in manner [i.e., wisdom or speech] will say, "You remained not but one day." (QS. [20] Taha: 104)Tafsir
وَيَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَ عَنِ الْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنْسِفُهَا رَبِّيْ نَسْفًا ۙ ١٠٥
- wayasalūnaka
- وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ
- And they ask you
- ʿani
- عَنِ
- about
- l-jibāli
- ٱلْجِبَالِ
- the mountains
- faqul
- فَقُلْ
- so say
- yansifuhā
- يَنسِفُهَا
- "Will blast them
- rabbī
- رَبِّى
- my Lord
- nasfan
- نَسْفًا
- (into) particles
And they ask you about the mountains, so say, "My Lord will blow them away with a blast. (QS. [20] Taha: 105)Tafsir
فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًا صَفْصَفًا ۙ ١٠٦
- fayadharuhā
- فَيَذَرُهَا
- Then He will leave it
- qāʿan
- قَاعًا
- a level
- ṣafṣafan
- صَفْصَفًا
- plain
And He will leave it [i.e., the earth] a level plain; (QS. [20] Taha: 106)Tafsir
لَّا تَرٰى فِيْهَا عِوَجًا وَّلَآ اَمْتًا ۗ ١٠٧
- lā
- لَّا
- Not
- tarā
- تَرَىٰ
- you will see
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- in it
- ʿiwajan
- عِوَجًا
- any crookedness
- walā
- وَلَآ
- and not
- amtan
- أَمْتًا
- any curve"
You will not see therein a depression or an elevation." (QS. [20] Taha: 107)Tafsir
يَوْمَىِٕذٍ يَّتَّبِعُوْنَ الدَّاعِيَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهٗ ۚوَخَشَعَتِ الْاَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمٰنِ فَلَا تَسْمَعُ اِلَّا هَمْسًا ١٠٨
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- On that Day
- yattabiʿūna
- يَتَّبِعُونَ
- they will follow
- l-dāʿiya
- ٱلدَّاعِىَ
- the caller
- lā
- لَا
- no
- ʿiwaja
- عِوَجَ
- deviation
- lahu
- لَهُۥۖ
- from it
- wakhashaʿati
- وَخَشَعَتِ
- And (will be) humbled
- l-aṣwātu
- ٱلْأَصْوَاتُ
- the voices
- lilrraḥmāni
- لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ
- for the Most Gracious
- falā
- فَلَا
- so not
- tasmaʿu
- تَسْمَعُ
- you will hear
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- hamsan
- هَمْسًا
- a faint sound
That Day, they [i.e., everyone] will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. (QS. [20] Taha: 108)Tafsir
يَوْمَىِٕذٍ لَّا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ اِلَّا مَنْ اَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمٰنُ وَرَضِيَ لَهٗ قَوْلًا ١٠٩
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- (On) that Day
- lā
- لَّا
- not
- tanfaʿu
- تَنفَعُ
- will benefit
- l-shafāʿatu
- ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ
- the intercession
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- man
- مَنْ
- (to) whom
- adhina
- أَذِنَ
- has given permission
- lahu
- لَهُ
- [to him]
- l-raḥmānu
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
- the Most Gracious
- waraḍiya
- وَرَضِىَ
- and He has accepted
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- for him
- qawlan
- قَوْلًا
- a word
That Day, no intercession will benefit except [that of] one to whom the Most Merciful has given permission and has accepted his word. (QS. [20] Taha: 109)Tafsir
يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيْطُوْنَ بِهٖ عِلْمًا ١١٠

- He knows

- بَيْنَ
- (is) before them
- aydīhim
- أَيْدِيهِمْ
- (is) before them

- وَمَا
- and what
- khalfahum
- خَلْفَهُمْ
- (is) behind them

- وَلَا

- yuḥīṭūna
- يُحِيطُونَ
- they encompass
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- it
- ʿil'man
- عِلْمًا
- (in) knowledge
He [i.e., Allah] knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, but they do not encompass it [i.e., what He knows] in knowledge. (QS. [20] Taha: 110)Tafsir
