ذٰلِكَ الْكِتٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيْهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَۙ ٢
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- l-kitābu
- ٱلْكِتَٰبُ
- (is) the Book
- lā
- لَا
- no
- rayba
- رَيْبَۛ
- doubt
- fīhi
- فِيهِۛ
- in it
- hudan
- هُدًى
- a Guidance
- lil'muttaqīna
- لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
- for the God-conscious
This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah . (QS. [2] Al-Baqarah: 2)Tafsir
3
الَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ يُنْفِقُوْنَ ۙ ٣
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
- bil-ghaybi
- بِٱلْغَيْبِ
- in the unseen
- wayuqīmūna
- وَيُقِيمُونَ
- and establish
- l-ṣalata
- ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
- the prayer
- wamimmā
- وَمِمَّا
- and out of what
- razaqnāhum
- رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ
- We have provided them
- yunfiqūna
- يُنفِقُونَ
- they spend
Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them, (QS. [2] Al-Baqarah: 3)Tafsir
4
وَالَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِمَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ وَمَآ اُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَبِالْاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوْقِنُوْنَۗ ٤
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
- bimā
- بِمَآ
- in what
- unzila
- أُنزِلَ
- (is) sent down
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَ
- to you
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- and what
- unzila
- أُنزِلَ
- was sent down
- min
- مِن
- from
- qablika
- قَبْلِكَ
- before you
- wabil-ākhirati
- وَبِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- and in the Hereafter
- hum
- هُمْ
- they
- yūqinūna
- يُوقِنُونَ
- firmly believe
And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith]. (QS. [2] Al-Baqarah: 4)Tafsir
5
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ عَلٰى هُدًى مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ ۙ وَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ ٥
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (are) on
- hudan
- هُدًى
- Guidance
- min
- مِّن
- from
- rabbihim
- رَّبِّهِمْۖ
- their Lord
- wa-ulāika
- وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- and those -
- humu
- هُمُ
- they
- l-muf'liḥūna
- ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
- (are) the successful ones
Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful. (QS. [2] Al-Baqarah: 5)Tafsir
6
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ٦
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve[d]
- sawāon
- سَوَآءٌ
- (it) is same
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- to them
- a-andhartahum
- ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ
- whether you warn them
- am
- أَمْ
- or
- lam
- لَمْ
- not
- tundhir'hum
- تُنذِرْهُمْ
- you warn them
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- they believe
Indeed, those who disbelieve – it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. (QS. [2] Al-Baqarah: 6)Tafsir
7
خَتَمَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَعَلٰى سَمْعِهِمْ ۗ وَعَلٰٓى اَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَّلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ ࣖ ٧
- khatama
- خَتَمَ
- Has set a seal
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- on
- qulūbihim
- قُلُوبِهِمْ
- their hearts
- waʿalā
- وَعَلَىٰ
- and on
- samʿihim
- سَمْعِهِمْۖ
- their hearing
- waʿalā
- وَعَلَىٰٓ
- and on
- abṣārihim
- أَبْصَٰرِهِمْ
- their vision
- ghishāwatun
- غِشَٰوَةٌۖ
- (is) a veil
- walahum
- وَلَهُمْ
- And for them
- ʿadhābun
- عَذَابٌ
- (is) a punishment
- ʿaẓīmun
- عَظِيمٌ
- great
Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment. (QS. [2] Al-Baqarah: 7)Tafsir
8
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَّقُوْلُ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَمَا هُمْ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَۘ ٨
- wamina
- وَمِنَ
- And of
- l-nāsi
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- the people
- man
- مَن
- (are some) who
- yaqūlu
- يَقُولُ
- say
- āmannā
- ءَامَنَّا
- "We believed
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- in Allah
- wabil-yawmi
- وَبِٱلْيَوْمِ
- and in the Day
- l-ākhiri
- ٱلْءَاخِرِ
- [the] Last"
- wamā
- وَمَا
- but not
- hum
- هُم
- they
- bimu'minīna
- بِمُؤْمِنِينَ
- (are) believers (at all)
And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah and the Last Day," but they are not believers. (QS. [2] Al-Baqarah: 8)Tafsir
9
يُخٰدِعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا ۚ وَمَا يَخْدَعُوْنَ اِلَّآ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُوْنَۗ ٩
- yukhādiʿūna
- يُخَٰدِعُونَ
- They seek to deceive
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- and those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe[d]
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- yakhdaʿūna
- يَخْدَعُونَ
- they deceive
- illā
- إِلَّآ
- except
- anfusahum
- أَنفُسَهُمْ
- themselves
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- yashʿurūna
- يَشْعُرُونَ
- they realize (it)
They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not. (QS. [2] Al-Baqarah: 9)Tafsir
10
فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌۙ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّٰهُ مَرَضًاۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ۢ ەۙ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْذِبُوْنَ ١٠
- fī
- فِى
- In
- qulūbihim
- قُلُوبِهِم
- their hearts
- maraḍun
- مَّرَضٌ
- (is) a disease
- fazādahumu
- فَزَادَهُمُ
- so has increased them
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- maraḍan
- مَرَضًاۖ
- (in) disease
- walahum
- وَلَهُمْ
- and for them
- ʿadhābun
- عَذَابٌ
- (is) a punishment
- alīmun
- أَلِيمٌۢ
- painful
- bimā
- بِمَا
- because
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used (to)
- yakdhibūna
- يَكْذِبُونَ
- [they] lie
In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie. (QS. [2] Al-Baqarah: 10)Tafsir
