وَّجَعَلَنِيْ مُبٰرَكًا اَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُۖ وَاَوْصٰنِيْ بِالصَّلٰوةِ وَالزَّكٰوةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا ۖ ٣١
- wajaʿalanī
 - وَجَعَلَنِى
 - And He (has) made me
 
- mubārakan
 - مُبَارَكًا
 - blessed
 
- ayna
 - أَيْنَ
 - wherever
 
- mā
 - مَا
 - wherever
 
- kuntu
 - كُنتُ
 - I am
 
- wa-awṣānī
 - وَأَوْصَٰنِى
 - and has enjoined (on) me
 
- bil-ṣalati
 - بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
 - [of] the prayer
 
- wal-zakati
 - وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ
 - and zakah
 
- mā
 - مَا
 - as long as I am
 
- dum'tu
 - دُمْتُ
 - as long as I am
 
- ḥayyan
 - حَيًّا
 - alive
 
And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and Zakah as long as I remain alive (QS. [19] Maryam: 31)Tafsir
وَّبَرًّاۢ بِوَالِدَتِيْ وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِيْ جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا ٣٢
- wabarran
 - وَبَرًّۢا
 - And dutiful
 
- biwālidatī
 - بِوَٰلِدَتِى
 - to my mother
 
- walam
 - وَلَمْ
 - and not
 
- yajʿalnī
 - يَجْعَلْنِى
 - He (has) made me
 
- jabbāran
 - جَبَّارًا
 - insolent
 
- shaqiyyan
 - شَقِيًّا
 - unblessed
 
And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant. (QS. [19] Maryam: 32)Tafsir
وَالسَّلٰمُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدْتُّ وَيَوْمَ اَمُوْتُ وَيَوْمَ اُبْعَثُ حَيًّا ٣٣
- wal-salāmu
 - وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ
 - And peace (be)
 
- ʿalayya
 - عَلَىَّ
 - on me
 
- yawma
 - يَوْمَ
 - (the) day
 
- wulidttu
 - وُلِدتُّ
 - I was born
 
- wayawma
 - وَيَوْمَ
 - and (the) day
 
- amūtu
 - أَمُوتُ
 - I will die
 
- wayawma
 - وَيَوْمَ
 - and (the) Day
 
- ub'ʿathu
 - أُبْعَثُ
 - I will be raised
 
- ḥayyan
 - حَيًّا
 - alive"
 
And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive." (QS. [19] Maryam: 33)Tafsir
ذٰلِكَ عِيْسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۚقَوْلَ الْحَقِّ الَّذِيْ فِيْهِ يَمْتَرُوْنَ ٣٤
- dhālika
 - ذَٰلِكَ
 - That
 
- ʿīsā
 - عِيسَى
 - (was) Isa
 
- ub'nu
 - ٱبْنُ
 - (the) son
 
- maryama
 - مَرْيَمَۚ
 - (of) Maryam
 
- qawla
 - قَوْلَ
 - a statement
 
- l-ḥaqi
 - ٱلْحَقِّ
 - (of) truth
 
- alladhī
 - ٱلَّذِى
 - that which
 
- fīhi
 - فِيهِ
 - about it
 
- yamtarūna
 - يَمْتَرُونَ
 - they dispute
 
That is Jesus, the son of Mary – the word of truth about which they are in dispute. (QS. [19] Maryam: 34)Tafsir
مَا كَانَ لِلّٰهِ اَنْ يَّتَّخِذَ مِنْ وَّلَدٍ سُبْحٰنَهٗ ۗاِذَا قَضٰٓى اَمْرًا فَاِنَّمَا يَقُوْلُ لَهٗ كُنْ فَيَكُوْنُ ۗ ٣٥
- mā
 - مَا
 - Not
 
- kāna
 - كَانَ
 - (it) is
 
- lillahi
 - لِلَّهِ
 - for Allah
 
- an
 - أَن
 - that
 
- yattakhidha
 - يَتَّخِذَ
 - He should take
 
- min
 - مِن
 - any son
 
- waladin
 - وَلَدٍۖ
 - any son
 
- sub'ḥānahu
 - سُبْحَٰنَهُۥٓۚ
 - Glory be to Him!
 
- idhā
 - إِذَا
 - When
 
- qaḍā
 - قَضَىٰٓ
 - He decrees
 
- amran
 - أَمْرًا
 - a matter
 
- fa-innamā
 - فَإِنَّمَا
 - then only
 
- yaqūlu
 - يَقُولُ
 - He says
 
- lahu
 - لَهُۥ
 - to it
 
- kun
 - كُن
 - "Be"
 
- fayakūnu
 - فَيَكُونُ
 - and it is
 
It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is. (QS. [19] Maryam: 35)Tafsir
وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ رَبِّيْ وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوْهُ ۗهٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيْمٌ ٣٦
- wa-inna
 - وَإِنَّ
 - "And indeed
 
- l-laha
 - ٱللَّهَ
 - Allah
 
- rabbī
 - رَبِّى
 - (is) my Lord
 
- warabbukum
 - وَرَبُّكُمْ
 - and your Lord
 
- fa-uʿ'budūhu
 - فَٱعْبُدُوهُۚ
 - so worship Him
 
- hādhā
 - هَٰذَا
 - This
 
- ṣirāṭun
 - صِرَٰطٌ
 - (is) a path
 
- mus'taqīmun
 - مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
 - straight"
 
[Jesus said], "And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path." (QS. [19] Maryam: 36)Tafsir
فَاخْتَلَفَ الْاَحْزَابُ مِنْۢ بَيْنِهِمْۚ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ مَّشْهَدِ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ ٣٧
- fa-ikh'talafa
 - فَٱخْتَلَفَ
 - But differed
 
- l-aḥzābu
 - ٱلْأَحْزَابُ
 - the sects
 
- min
 - مِنۢ
 - from among them
 
- baynihim
 - بَيْنِهِمْۖ
 - from among them
 
- fawaylun
 - فَوَيْلٌ
 - so woe
 
- lilladhīna
 - لِّلَّذِينَ
 - to those who
 
- kafarū
 - كَفَرُوا۟
 - disbelieve
 
- min
 - مِن
 - from
 
- mashhadi
 - مَّشْهَدِ
 - (the) witnessing
 
- yawmin
 - يَوْمٍ
 - (of) a Day
 
- ʿaẓīmin
 - عَظِيمٍ
 - great
 
Then the factions differed [concerning Jesus] from among them, so woe to those who disbelieved – from the scene of a tremendous Day. (QS. [19] Maryam: 37)Tafsir
اَسْمِعْ بِهِمْ وَاَبْصِرْۙ يَوْمَ يَأْتُوْنَنَا لٰكِنِ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ الْيَوْمَ فِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ٣٨
- asmiʿ
 - أَسْمِعْ
 - How they will hear!
 
- bihim
 - بِهِمْ
 - How they will hear!
 
- wa-abṣir
 - وَأَبْصِرْ
 - and how (they will) see!
 
- yawma
 - يَوْمَ
 - (the) Day
 
- yatūnanā
 - يَأْتُونَنَاۖ
 - they will come to Us
 
- lākini
 - لَٰكِنِ
 - but
 
- l-ẓālimūna
 - ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
 - the wrongdoers
 
- l-yawma
 - ٱلْيَوْمَ
 - today
 
- fī
 - فِى
 - (are) in
 
- ḍalālin
 - ضَلَٰلٍ
 - error
 
- mubīnin
 - مُّبِينٍ
 - clear
 
How [clearly] they will hear and see the Day they come to Us, but the wrongdoers today are in clear error. (QS. [19] Maryam: 38)Tafsir
وَاَنْذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ اِذْ قُضِيَ الْاَمْرُۘ وَهُمْ فِيْ غَفْلَةٍ وَّهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ٣٩
- wa-andhir'hum
 - وَأَنذِرْهُمْ
 - And warn them
 
- yawma
 - يَوْمَ
 - (of the) Day
 
- l-ḥasrati
 - ٱلْحَسْرَةِ
 - (of) the Regret
 
- idh
 - إِذْ
 - when
 
- quḍiya
 - قُضِىَ
 - has been decided
 
- l-amru
 - ٱلْأَمْرُ
 - the matter
 
- wahum
 - وَهُمْ
 - And they
 
- fī
 - فِى
 - (are) in
 
- ghaflatin
 - غَفْلَةٍ
 - heedlessness
 
- wahum
 - وَهُمْ
 - and they
 
- lā
 - لَا
 - (do) not
 
- yu'minūna
 - يُؤْمِنُونَ
 - believe
 
And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe. (QS. [19] Maryam: 39)Tafsir
اِنَّا نَحْنُ نَرِثُ الْاَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا وَاِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُوْنَ ࣖ ٤٠
- innā
 - إِنَّا
 - Indeed We
 
- naḥnu
 - نَحْنُ
 - [We]
 
- narithu
 - نَرِثُ
 - [We] will inherit
 
- l-arḍa
 - ٱلْأَرْضَ
 - the earth
 
- waman
 - وَمَنْ
 - and whoever
 
- ʿalayhā
 - عَلَيْهَا
 - (is) on it
 
- wa-ilaynā
 - وَإِلَيْنَا
 - and to Us
 
- yur'jaʿūna
 - يُرْجَعُونَ
 - they will be returned
 
Indeed, it is We who will inherit the earth and whoever is on it, and to Us they will be returned. (QS. [19] Maryam: 40)Tafsir
