91
اَنْ دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمٰنِ وَلَدًا ۚ ٩١
- an
- أَن
- That
- daʿaw
- دَعَوْا۟
- they invoke
- lilrraḥmāni
- لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ
- to the Most Gracious
- waladan
- وَلَدًا
- a son
That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. (QS. [19] Maryam: 91)Tafsir
92
وَمَا يَنْۢبَغِيْ لِلرَّحْمٰنِ اَنْ يَّتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا ۗ ٩٢
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- yanbaghī
- يَنۢبَغِى
- is appropriate
- lilrraḥmāni
- لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ
- for the Most Gracious
- an
- أَن
- that
- yattakhidha
- يَتَّخِذَ
- He should take
- waladan
- وَلَدًا
- a son
And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. (QS. [19] Maryam: 92)Tafsir
93
اِنْ كُلُّ مَنْ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ اِلَّآ اٰتِى الرَّحْمٰنِ عَبْدًا ۗ ٩٣
- in
- إِن
- Not
- kullu
- كُلُّ
- all
- man
- مَن
- who
- fī
- فِى
- (are) in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- illā
- إِلَّآ
- but
- ātī
- ءَاتِى
- (will) come
- l-raḥmāni
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ
- (to) the Most Gracious
- ʿabdan
- عَبْدًا
- (as) a slave
There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. (QS. [19] Maryam: 93)Tafsir
94
لَقَدْ اَحْصٰىهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّا ۗ ٩٤
- laqad
- لَّقَدْ
- Verily
- aḥṣāhum
- أَحْصَىٰهُمْ
- He has enumerated them
- waʿaddahum
- وَعَدَّهُمْ
- and counted them
- ʿaddan
- عَدًّا
- a counting
He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. (QS. [19] Maryam: 94)Tafsir
95
وَكُلُّهُمْ اٰتِيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ فَرْدًا ٩٥
- wakulluhum
- وَكُلُّهُمْ
- And all of them
- ātīhi
- ءَاتِيهِ
- (will) come (to) Him
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (on the) Day
- l-qiyāmati
- ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
- (of) the Resurrection
- fardan
- فَرْدًا
- alone
And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. (QS. [19] Maryam: 95)Tafsir
96
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحْمٰنُ وُدًّا ٩٦
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believed
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and did
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- good deeds
- sayajʿalu
- سَيَجْعَلُ
- will bestow
- lahumu
- لَهُمُ
- for them
- l-raḥmānu
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
- the Most Gracious
- wuddan
- وُدًّا
- affection
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. (QS. [19] Maryam: 96)Tafsir
97
فَاِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ وَتُنْذِرَ بِهٖ قَوْمًا لُّدًّا ٩٧
- fa-innamā
- فَإِنَّمَا
- So only
- yassarnāhu
- يَسَّرْنَٰهُ
- We (have) made it easy
- bilisānika
- بِلِسَانِكَ
- in your tongue
- litubashira
- لِتُبَشِّرَ
- that you may give glad tidings
- bihi
- بِهِ
- with it
- l-mutaqīna
- ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
- (to) the righteous
- watundhira
- وَتُنذِرَ
- and warn
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- with it
- qawman
- قَوْمًا
- a people
- luddan
- لُّدًّا
- hostile
So, [O Muhammad], We have only made it [i.e., the Quran] easy in your tongue [i.e., the Arabic language] that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. (QS. [19] Maryam: 97)Tafsir
98
وَكَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنْ قَرْنٍۗ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُمْ مِّنْ اَحَدٍ اَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا ࣖ ٩٨
- wakam
- وَكَمْ
- And how many
- ahlaknā
- أَهْلَكْنَا
- We (have) destroyed
- qablahum
- قَبْلَهُم
- before them
- min
- مِّن
- of
- qarnin
- قَرْنٍ
- a generation?
- hal
- هَلْ
- Can
- tuḥissu
- تُحِسُّ
- you perceive
- min'hum
- مِنْهُم
- of them
- min
- مِّنْ
- any
- aḥadin
- أَحَدٍ
- one
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- tasmaʿu
- تَسْمَعُ
- hear
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- from them
- rik'zan
- رِكْزًۢا
- a sound?
And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? (QS. [19] Maryam: 98)Tafsir
