Al-Qur'an Surah An-Nahl Verse 50
An-Nahl [16]: 50 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
يَخَافُوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ مِّنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَيَفْعَلُوْنَ مَا يُؤْمَرُوْنَ ࣖ ۩ (النحل : ١٦)

Transliteration:
yakhaafoona Rabbahum min fawqihim wa yaf'aloona maa yu'maroon(QS. an-Naḥl:50)
English / Sahih Translation:
They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded. (QS. An-Nahl, ayah 50)

Tafsir jalalayn
They, that is, the angels, fear (yakhfna is a circumstantial qualifier referring to the person governing [the verb] yastakbirna, `they are [not] arrogant') their Lord from above them (min fawqihim is a circumstantial qualifier referring to [the suffixed pronoun] -hum [of fawqihim]) in other words, [they fear their Lord], being High above them with the power to subjugate, and they do what they are commanded, to [do].
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
يَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُم مِّن فَوْقِهِمْ
They fear their Lord above them,
means, they prostrate out of fear of their Lord, may He be glorified.
وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُوْمَرُونَ
and they do what they are commanded.
meaning they continually obey Allah, doing what He tells them to do and avoiding that which He forbids
