Al-Qur'an Surah Az-Zalzalah Verse 5
Az-Zalzalah [99]: 5 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
بِاَنَّ رَبَّكَ اَوْحٰى لَهَاۗ (الزلزلة : ٩٩)
- bi-anna

Transliteration:
Bi-anna rabbaka awhaa laha(QS. Az-Zalzalah:5)
English / Sahih Translation:
Because your Lord has inspired [i.e., commanded] it. (QS. Az-Zalzalah, ayah 5)

Tafsir jalalayn
for its Lord will have inspired it, that is, He will have commanded her to [do] this -- in a hadth [it is stated], `It [the earth] shall testify to every single deed committed by every servant and handmaiden upon its surface'.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
Because your Lord will inspire it.
It is apparent that the implied meaning here is that He will permit it (the earth).
Shabib bin Bishr narrated from `Ikrimah that Ibn `Abbas said,
يَوْمَيِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
(That Day it will declare its information). "Its Lord will say to it, `Speak.' So it will speak."
Mujahid commented (on "inspire it"), "He commands it (i.e., to speak)."
Al-Qurazi said, "He will command it to separate from them."
Then Allah says
