Al-Qur'an Surah Al-'Alaq Verse 8

Al-'Alaq [96]: 8 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

اِنَّ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ الرُّجْعٰىۗ (العلق : ٩٦)

inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
ilā
إِلَىٰ

rabbika
رَبِّكَ
your Lord
l-ruj'ʿā
ٱلرُّجْعَىٰٓ
(is) the return

Transliteration:

Innna ilaa rabbikar ruj'aa (QS. al-ʿAlaq̈:8)

English / Sahih Translation:

Indeed, to your Lord is the return. (QS. Al-'Alaq, ayah 8)

Surely, unto your Lord is the return.

meaning, `unto Allah is the final destination and return, and He will hold you accountable for your wealth, as to where you obtained it from and how did you spend it.'

Then Allah says,

أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يَنْهَى
