Al-Qur'an Surah Ash-Sharh Verse 8
Ash-Sharh [94]: 8 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَاِلٰى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ ࣖ (الشرح : ٩٤)
- wa-ilā
- وَإِلَىٰ
- And to
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- your Lord
- fa-ir'ghab
- فَٱرْغَب
- turn your attention
Transliteration:
Wa ilaa rabbika far ghab(QS. aš-Šarḥ:8)
English / Sahih Translation:
And to your Lord direct [your] longing. (QS. Ash-Sharh, ayah 8)

Tafseer Ibn Kathir
So when you have finished, devote yourself to Allah's worship.
And to your Lord turn intentions and hopes.
Meaning, When you are free from difficulties and blessed with relief, then turn towards your Lord for His worship and turn to Him for all hopes.
