Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Layl Verse 17
Al-Layl [92]: 17 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الْاَتْقَىۙ (الليل : ٩٢)
- wasayujannabuhā
- وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا
- But will be removed from it
- l-atqā
- ٱلْأَتْقَى
- the righteous
Transliteration:
Wa sa yujannnabuhal atqaa(QS. al-Layl:17)
English / Sahih Translation:
But the righteous one will avoid it . (QS. Al-Layl, ayah 17)

And saved from it will be the most God-fearing one,

And the most fearing and obeying will be made to avoid it/be distanced from it.

Tafsir jalalayn
The God-fearing one (al-atq means al-taq) shall be spared it, he will be removed far away from it,
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
And those with Taqwa will be far removed from it.
meaning, the righteous, pure, most pious person will be saved from the Fire.
Then He explains who he is by His saying,
الَّذِي يُوْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّى
