Al-Qur'an Surah At-Tawbah Verse 116
At-Tawbah [9]: 116 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ يُحْيٖ وَيُمِيْتُۗ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَّلِيٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيْرٍ (التوبة : ٩)

- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- to Him (belongs)
- mul'ku
- مُلْكُ
- the dominion
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۖ
- and the earth
- yuḥ'yī
- يُحْىِۦ
- He gives life
- wayumītu
- وَيُمِيتُۚ
- and He causes death
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- lakum
- لَكُم
- for you
- min
- مِّن
- besides Allah
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides Allah
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- besides Allah

- waliyyin
- وَلِىٍّ

Transliteration:
Innal laaha lahoo mulkus samaawaati wal ardi yuhyee wa yumeet; wa maa lakum min doonil laahi minw waliyyinw wa laa naseer(QS. at-Tawbah:116)
English / Sahih Translation:
Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper. (QS. At-Tawbah, ayah 116)

Surely, to Allah alone belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and brings death. And, other than Allah, you have neither a supporter, nor a helper.

That God (has) for him the skies`/space`s ownership/kingdom , He revives/makes alive, and He makes die, and (there is) none for you from other than God from (a) guardian/ally and nor (a) victorior/savior .

Surely to God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and of the earth. He gives life and He makes to die; and you do not have, O mankind, besides God, that is, other than Him, any protector, to preserve you from Him, or helper, to defend you against His hurt.

Indeed to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, He gives life and He causes death. And besides Allah you have neither any protector nor any helper.
Ibn Jarir commented,
"This is an encouragement from Allah for His believing servants to fight the idolators and chiefs of disbelief. It is also a command for them to trust in Allah's aid, for He is the Owner of the heavens and earth, and not to fear His enemies. Verily, they have no protector besides Allah, nor a supporter other than Him.
