Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Fajr Verse 18
Al-Fajr [89]: 18 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَلَا تَحٰۤضُّوْنَ عَلٰى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِيْنِۙ (الفجر : ٨٩)
- walā
- وَلَا
- And not
- taḥāḍḍūna
- تَحَٰٓضُّونَ
- you feel the urge
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- to
- ṭaʿāmi
- طَعَامِ
- feed
- l-mis'kīni
- ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
- the poor
Transliteration:
Wa laa tahaaaddoona 'alaata'aamil miskeen(QS. al-Fajr:18)
English / Sahih Translation:
And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor. (QS. Al-Fajr, ayah 18)
