1
سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْاَعْلَىۙ ١
- sabbiḥi
- سَبِّحِ
- Glorify
- is'ma
- ٱسْمَ
- (the) name
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- (of) your Lord
- l-aʿlā
- ٱلْأَعْلَى
- the Most High
Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, (QS. [87] Al-A'la: 1)Tafsir
2
الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰىۖ ٢
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- The One Who
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- created
- fasawwā
- فَسَوَّىٰ
- then proportioned
Who created and proportioned (QS. [87] Al-A'la: 2)Tafsir
3
وَالَّذِيْ قَدَّرَ فَهَدٰىۖ ٣
- wa-alladhī
- وَٱلَّذِى
- And the One Who
- qaddara
- قَدَّرَ
- measured
- fahadā
- فَهَدَىٰ
- then guided
And who destined and [then] guided (QS. [87] Al-A'la: 3)Tafsir
4
وَالَّذِيْٓ اَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعٰىۖ ٤
- wa-alladhī
- وَٱلَّذِىٓ
- And the One Who
- akhraja
- أَخْرَجَ
- brings forth
- l-marʿā
- ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ
- the pasture
And who brings out the pasture (QS. [87] Al-A'la: 4)Tafsir
5
فَجَعَلَهٗ غُثَاۤءً اَحْوٰىۖ ٥
- fajaʿalahu
- فَجَعَلَهُۥ
- And then made it
- ghuthāan
- غُثَآءً
- stubble
- aḥwā
- أَحْوَىٰ
- dark
And [then] makes it black stubble. (QS. [87] Al-A'la: 5)Tafsir
6
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنْسٰىٓ ۖ ٦
- sanuq'ri-uka
- سَنُقْرِئُكَ
- We will make you recite
- falā
- فَلَا
- so not
- tansā
- تَنسَىٰٓ
- you will forget
We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, (QS. [87] Al-A'la: 6)Tafsir
7
اِلَّا مَا شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ ۗاِنَّهٗ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفٰىۗ ٧
- illā
- إِلَّا
- Except
- mā
- مَا
- what
- shāa
- شَآءَ
- wills
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُۚ
- Allah
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed, He
- yaʿlamu
- يَعْلَمُ
- knows
- l-jahra
- ٱلْجَهْرَ
- the manifest
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- yakhfā
- يَخْفَىٰ
- is hidden
Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. (QS. [87] Al-A'la: 7)Tafsir
8
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرٰىۖ ٨
- wanuyassiruka
- وَنُيَسِّرُكَ
- And We will ease you
- lil'yus'rā
- لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
- to the ease
And We will ease you toward ease. (QS. [87] Al-A'la: 8)Tafsir
9
فَذَكِّرْ اِنْ نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكْرٰىۗ ٩
- fadhakkir
- فَذَكِّرْ
- So remind
- in
- إِن
- if
- nafaʿati
- نَّفَعَتِ
- benefits
- l-dhik'rā
- ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ
- the reminder
So remind, if the reminder should benefit; (QS. [87] Al-A'la: 9)Tafsir
10
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ يَّخْشٰىۙ ١٠
- sayadhakkaru
- سَيَذَّكَّرُ
- He will pay heed -
- man
- مَن
- (one) who
- yakhshā
- يَخْشَىٰ
- fears (Allah)
He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. (QS. [87] Al-A'la: 10)Tafsir
