Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Inshiqaq Verse 5
Al-Inshiqaq [84]: 5 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَاَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْۗ (الإنشقاق : ٨٤)
- wa-adhinat
- وَأَذِنَتْ
- And has listened
- lirabbihā
- لِرَبِّهَا
- to its Lord
- waḥuqqat
- وَحُقَّتْ
- and was obligated
Transliteration:
Wa azinat li Rabbihaa wa huqqat(QS. al-ʾInšiq̈āq̈:5)
English / Sahih Translation:
And has listened [i.e., responded] to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] – (QS. Al-Inshiqaq, ayah 5)

and will listen to (the command of) its Lord,- and it ought to,- (then man will see the consequences of his deeds.)

Tafsir jalalayn
and heeds, [and] in this respect, gives ear to and obeys, its Lord, as it should; all of this will be on the Day of Resurrection (the response to idh, `when', and [to] all that is supplemented thereto, has been omitted; but it is indicated by what follows it, and is implied to be [something like] laqiya'l-insnu `amalahu, `man will encounter his deeds').
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
And listens to and obeys its Lord, and it must do so.
