Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Inshiqaq Verse 4

Al-Inshiqaq [84]: 4 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

وَاَلْقَتْ مَا فِيْهَا وَتَخَلَّتْۙ (الإنشقاق : ٨٤)

wa-alqat
وَأَلْقَتْ
And has cast out
مَا
what
fīhā
فِيهَا
(is) in it
watakhallat
وَتَخَلَّتْ
and becomes empty

Transliteration:

Wa alqat maa feehaa wa takhallat (QS. al-ʾInšiq̈āq̈:4)

English / Sahih Translation:

And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]. (QS. Al-Inshiqaq, ayah 4)

and it will throw up whatever it contains, and will become empty,

Tafsir jalalayn

and casts out all that is in it, of the dead, onto its surface, and empties itself, thereof,

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

And has cast out all that was in it and became empty.

meaning, it throws out the dead inside of it, and it empties itself of them.

This was said by Mujahid, Sa`id, and Qatadah.

وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
