1
اِذَا السَّمَاۤءُ انْشَقَّتْۙ ١
- idhā
- إِذَا
- When
- l-samāu
- ٱلسَّمَآءُ
- the sky
- inshaqqat
- ٱنشَقَّتْ
- is split asunder
When the sky has split [open] . (QS. [84] Al-Inshiqaq: 1)Tafsir
2
وَاَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْۙ ٢
- wa-adhinat
- وَأَذِنَتْ
- And has listened
- lirabbihā
- لِرَبِّهَا
- to its Lord
- waḥuqqat
- وَحُقَّتْ
- and was obligated
And has listened [i.e., responded] to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] (QS. [84] Al-Inshiqaq: 2)Tafsir
3
وَاِذَا الْاَرْضُ مُدَّتْۙ ٣
- wa-idhā
- وَإِذَا
- And when
- l-arḍu
- ٱلْأَرْضُ
- the earth
- muddat
- مُدَّتْ
- is spread
And when the earth has been extended. (QS. [84] Al-Inshiqaq: 3)Tafsir
4
وَاَلْقَتْ مَا فِيْهَا وَتَخَلَّتْۙ ٤
- wa-alqat
- وَأَلْقَتْ
- And has cast out
- mā
- مَا
- what
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- (is) in it
- watakhallat
- وَتَخَلَّتْ
- and becomes empty
And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]. (QS. [84] Al-Inshiqaq: 4)Tafsir
5
وَاَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْۗ ٥
- wa-adhinat
- وَأَذِنَتْ
- And has listened
- lirabbihā
- لِرَبِّهَا
- to its Lord
- waḥuqqat
- وَحُقَّتْ
- and was obligated
And has listened [i.e., responded] to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] – (QS. [84] Al-Inshiqaq: 5)Tafsir
6
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْاِنْسَانُ اِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلٰقِيْهِۚ ٦
- yāayyuhā
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O
- l-insānu
- ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ
- mankind!
- innaka
- إِنَّكَ
- Indeed, you
- kādiḥun
- كَادِحٌ
- (are) laboring
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- your Lord
- kadḥan
- كَدْحًا
- (with) exertion
- famulāqīhi
- فَمُلَٰقِيهِ
- and you (will) meet Him
O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it. (QS. [84] Al-Inshiqaq: 6)Tafsir
7
فَاَمَّا مَنْ اُوْتِيَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِيَمِيْنِهٖۙ ٧
- fa-ammā
- فَأَمَّا
- Then as for
- man
- مَنْ
- (him) who
- ūtiya
- أُوتِىَ
- is given
- kitābahu
- كِتَٰبَهُۥ
- his record
- biyamīnihi
- بِيَمِينِهِۦ
- in his right hand
Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand, (QS. [84] Al-Inshiqaq: 7)Tafsir
8
فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَّسِيْرًاۙ ٨
- fasawfa
- فَسَوْفَ
- Soon
- yuḥāsabu
- يُحَاسَبُ
- his account will be taken
- ḥisāban
- حِسَابًا
- an account
- yasīran
- يَسِيرًا
- easy
He will be judged with an easy account . (QS. [84] Al-Inshiqaq: 8)Tafsir
9
وَّيَنْقَلِبُ اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهٖ مَسْرُوْرًاۗ ٩
- wayanqalibu
- وَيَنقَلِبُ
- And he will return
- ilā
- إِلَىٰٓ
- to
- ahlihi
- أَهْلِهِۦ
- his people
- masrūran
- مَسْرُورًا
- happily
And return to his people in happiness. (QS. [84] Al-Inshiqaq: 9)Tafsir
10
وَاَمَّا مَنْ اُوْتِيَ كِتٰبَهٗ وَرَاۤءَ ظَهْرِهٖۙ ١٠
- wa-ammā
- وَأَمَّا
- But as for
- man
- مَنْ
- (him) who
- ūtiya
- أُوتِىَ
- is given
- kitābahu
- كِتَٰبَهُۥ
- his record
- warāa
- وَرَآءَ
- behind
- ẓahrihi
- ظَهْرِهِۦ
- his back
But as for he who is given his record behind his back, (QS. [84] Al-Inshiqaq: 10)Tafsir
