Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mutaffifin Verse 35
Al-Mutaffifin [83]: 35 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
عَلَى الْاَرَاۤىِٕكِ يَنْظُرُوْنَۗ (المطففين : ٨٣)

Transliteration:
'Alal araaa'iki yanzuroon(QS. al-Muṭaffifīn:35)
English / Sahih Translation:
On adorned couches, observing. (QS. Al-Mutaffifin, ayah 35)

Tafsir jalalayn
upon couches, in Paradise, gazing, out from their dwellings at the disbelievers while they are being tortured; and they will laugh at them just as they, the disbelievers, had laughed at them in the world.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
On thrones, looking.
meaning, looking at Allah as reward for bearing the false claims against them that they were misguided. They were not misguided at all. Rather they were the close Auliya' of Allah, who will be looking at their Lord in the place of His honor.
Concerning Allah's statement,
هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ
