11
الَّذِيْنَ يُكَذِّبُوْنَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّيْنِۗ ١١
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- yukadhibūna
- يُكَذِّبُونَ
- deny
- biyawmi
- بِيَوْمِ
- (the) Day
- l-dīni
- ٱلدِّينِ
- (of) the Judgment
Who deny the Day of Recompense. (QS. [83] Al-Mutaffifin: 11)Tafsir
12
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهٖٓ اِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ اَثِيْمٍۙ ١٢
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- yukadhibu
- يُكَذِّبُ
- can deny
- bihi
- بِهِۦٓ
- [of] it
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- kullu
- كُلُّ
- every
- muʿ'tadin
- مُعْتَدٍ
- transgressor
- athīmin
- أَثِيمٍ
- sinful
And none deny it except every sinful transgressor. (QS. [83] Al-Mutaffifin: 12)Tafsir
13
اِذَا تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِ اٰيٰتُنَا قَالَ اَسَاطِيْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَۗ ١٣
- idhā
- إِذَا
- When
- tut'lā
- تُتْلَىٰ
- are recited
- ʿalayhi
- عَلَيْهِ
- to him
- āyātunā
- ءَايَٰتُنَا
- Our Verses
- qāla
- قَالَ
- he says
- asāṭīru
- أَسَٰطِيرُ
- "Stories
- l-awalīna
- ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
- (of) the former (people)"
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples." (QS. [83] Al-Mutaffifin: 13)Tafsir
14
كَلَّا بَلْ ۜرَانَ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ ١٤
- kallā
- كَلَّاۖ
- Nay!
- bal
- بَلْۜ
- But
- rāna
- رَانَ
- (the) stain has covered
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- [over]
- qulūbihim
- قُلُوبِهِم
- their hearts
- mā
- مَّا
- (for) what
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they were
- yaksibūna
- يَكْسِبُونَ
- earning
No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning. (QS. [83] Al-Mutaffifin: 14)Tafsir
15
كَلَّآ اِنَّهُمْ عَنْ رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ لَّمَحْجُوْبُوْنَۗ ١٥
- kallā
- كَلَّآ
- Nay!
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- Indeed they
- ʿan
- عَن
- from
- rabbihim
- رَّبِّهِمْ
- their Lord
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that Day
- lamaḥjūbūna
- لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ
- surely will be partitioned
No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned. (QS. [83] Al-Mutaffifin: 15)Tafsir
16
ثُمَّ اِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا الْجَحِيْمِۗ ١٦
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- indeed they
- laṣālū
- لَصَالُوا۟
- (surely) will burn
- l-jaḥīmi
- ٱلْجَحِيمِ
- (in) the Hellfire
Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire. (QS. [83] Al-Mutaffifin: 16)Tafsir
17
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هٰذَا الَّذِيْ كُنْتُمْ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوْنَۗ ١٧
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- yuqālu
- يُقَالُ
- it will be said
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- "This
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) what
- kuntum
- كُنتُم
- you used (to)
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- [of it]
- tukadhibūna
- تُكَذِّبُونَ
- deny"
Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny." (QS. [83] Al-Mutaffifin: 17)Tafsir
18
كَلَّآ اِنَّ كِتٰبَ الْاَبْرَارِ لَفِيْ عِلِّيِّيْنَۗ ١٨
- kallā
- كَلَّآ
- Nay!
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- kitāba
- كِتَٰبَ
- (the) record
- l-abrāri
- ٱلْأَبْرَارِ
- (of) the righteous
- lafī
- لَفِى
- (will be) surely in
- ʿilliyyīna
- عِلِّيِّينَ
- Illiyin
No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in Ôilliyy´n. (QS. [83] Al-Mutaffifin: 18)Tafsir
19
وَمَآ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا عِلِّيُّوْنَۗ ١٩
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- And what
- adrāka
- أَدْرَىٰكَ
- can make you know
- mā
- مَا
- what
- ʿilliyyūna
- عِلِّيُّونَ
- (is) Illiyun?
And what can make you know what is Ôilliyy´n? (QS. [83] Al-Mutaffifin: 19)Tafsir
20
كِتٰبٌ مَّرْقُوْمٌۙ ٢٠
- kitābun
- كِتَٰبٌ
- A book
- marqūmun
- مَّرْقُومٌ
- written
It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed (QS. [83] Al-Mutaffifin: 20)Tafsir
