Al-Qur'an Surah At-Takwir Verse 15

At-Takwir [81]: 15 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

فَلَآ اُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِۙ (التكوير : ٨١)

falā
فَلَآ
But nay!
uq'simu
أُقْسِمُ
I swear
bil-khunasi
بِٱلْخُنَّسِ
by the retreating planets

Transliteration:

Falaaa uqsimu bil khunnas (QS. at-Takwīr:15)

English / Sahih Translation:

So I swear by the retreating stars - (QS. At-Takwir, ayah 15)

So, I swear by those (stars) that recede,

The Explanation of the Words Al-Khunnas and Al-Kunnas

Muslim recorded in his Sahih, and An-Nasa'i in his Book of Tafsir, in explaining this Ayah, from `Amr bin Hurayth that he said,

"I prayed the Morning prayer behind the Prophet , and I heard him reciting,

فَلَ أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ




الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ
