Al-Qur'an Surah 'Abasa Verse 38
'Abasa [80]: 38 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وُجُوْهٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ مُّسْفِرَةٌۙ (عبس : ٨٠)

- مُّسْفِرَةٌ
- (will be) bright
Transliteration:
Wujoo huny-yauma-izim-musfira;(QS. ʿAbasa:38)
English / Sahih Translation:
[Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - (QS. 'Abasa, ayah 38)

Tafsir jalalayn
On that day some faces will be shining, radiant,
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
Some faces that Day will be bright (Musfirah),
meaning, the people will be divided into two parties. There will be faces that are Musfirah, which means bright.
ضَاحِكَةٌ مُّسْتَبْشِرَةٌ
