'Abasa [80]: 30 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

وَّحَدَاۤئِقَ غُلْبًا (عبس : ٨٠)

waḥadāiqa
وَحَدَآئِقَ
And gardens
ghul'ban
غُلْبًا
(of) thick foliage

Transliteration:

Wa hadaa-iqa ghulba (QS. ʿAbasa:30)

English / Sahih Translation:

And gardens of dense shrubbery . (QS. 'Abasa, ayah 30)

Tafsir jalalayn

and gardens of dense foliage, orchards teeming with trees,

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

And Ghulb Hada'iq,

meaning, gardens.

Al-Hasan and Qatadah both said,

"Ghulb are gardens of date palms that are thick and handsome."

Ibn Abbas and Mujahid both said,

"It means everything that is gathered and collected."

Allah said,

وَفَاكِهَةً وَأَبًّا
