مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُمْ مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرِى
`I have not known of any other god for you all other than me for the past forty years."'

Allah then says,

فَأَخَذَهُ اللَّهُ نَكَالَ الاْأخِرَةِ وَالاْأُولَى
