1
وَالنّٰزِعٰتِ غَرْقًاۙ ١
- wal-nāziʿāti
- وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ
- By those who extract
- gharqan
- غَرْقًا
- violently
By those [angels] who extract with violence (QS. [79] An-Nazi'at: 1)Tafsir
2
وَّالنّٰشِطٰتِ نَشْطًاۙ ٢
- wal-nāshiṭāti
- وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ
- And those who draw out
- nashṭan
- نَشْطًا
- gently
And [by] those who remove with ease (QS. [79] An-Nazi'at: 2)Tafsir
3
وَّالسّٰبِحٰتِ سَبْحًاۙ ٣
- wal-sābiḥāti
- وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ
- And those who glide
- sabḥan
- سَبْحًا
- swimming
And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming (QS. [79] An-Nazi'at: 3)Tafsir
4
فَالسّٰبِقٰتِ سَبْقًاۙ ٤
- fal-sābiqāti
- فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ
- And those who race each other
- sabqan
- سَبْقًا
- (in) a race
And those who race each other in a race (QS. [79] An-Nazi'at: 4)Tafsir
5
فَالْمُدَبِّرٰتِ اَمْرًاۘ ٥
- fal-mudabirāti
- فَٱلْمُدَبِّرَٰتِ
- And those who arrange
- amran
- أَمْرًا
- (the) matter
And those who arrange [each] matter, (QS. [79] An-Nazi'at: 5)Tafsir
6
يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُۙ ٦
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (The) Day
- tarjufu
- تَرْجُفُ
- will quake
- l-rājifatu
- ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ
- the quaking one
On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation], (QS. [79] An-Nazi'at: 6)Tafsir
7
تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ ۗ ٧
- tatbaʿuhā
- تَتْبَعُهَا
- Follows it
- l-rādifatu
- ٱلرَّادِفَةُ
- the subsequent
There will follow it the subsequent [one]. (QS. [79] An-Nazi'at: 7)Tafsir
8
قُلُوْبٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ وَّاجِفَةٌۙ ٨
- qulūbun
- قُلُوبٌ
- Hearts
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that Day
- wājifatun
- وَاجِفَةٌ
- will palpitate
Hearts, that Day, will tremble, (QS. [79] An-Nazi'at: 8)Tafsir
9
اَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ ۘ ٩
- abṣāruhā
- أَبْصَٰرُهَا
- Their eyes
- khāshiʿatun
- خَٰشِعَةٌ
- humbled
Their eyes humbled. (QS. [79] An-Nazi'at: 9)Tafsir
10
يَقُوْلُوْنَ ءَاِنَّا لَمَرْدُوْدُوْنَ فِى الْحَافِرَةِۗ ١٠
- yaqūlūna
- يَقُولُونَ
- They say
- a-innā
- أَءِنَّا
- "Will we
- lamardūdūna
- لَمَرْدُودُونَ
- indeed be returned
- fī
- فِى
- to
- l-ḥāfirati
- ٱلْحَافِرَةِ
- the former state?
They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]? (QS. [79] An-Nazi'at: 10)Tafsir
