Al-Qur'an Surah An-Naba Verse 35
An-Naba [78]: 35 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ فِيْهَا لَغْوًا وَّلَا كِذَّابًا (النبإ : ٧٨)

Transliteration:
Laa yasma'oona fiha lagh waw walaa kizzaba(QS. an-Nabaʾ:35)
English / Sahih Translation:
No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood - (QS. An-Naba, ayah 35)

Tafsir jalalayn
They will not hear in it, that is, [in] Paradise, when they drink wine and in other situations, any vain talk, any words of falsehood, or lies, between one another (read kidhban, to mean kadhiban, `lies', or kidhdhban to mean takdhban, `lying'), in contrast to what happens in this world when wine is drunk,
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
No Laghw shall they hear therein, nor lying;
This is similar to Allah's statement,
لااَّ لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ
Free from any Laghw, and free from sin. (52;23)
meaning, there will not be any vain, worthless speech therein, nor any sinful lying. Rather, it will be the abode of peace, and everything that is in it will be free of any shortcomings.
Allah then says,
جَزَاء مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَاء حِسَابًا
