وَّكَأْسًا دِهَاقًاۗ (النبإ : ٧٨)

wakasan
وَكَأْسًا
And a cup
dihāqan
دِهَاقًا
full

Transliteration:

Wa ka'san di haaqa (QS. an-Nabaʾ:34)

English / Sahih Translation:

And a full cup. (QS. An-Naba, ayah 34)

Tafsir jalalayn

and a brimming cup, wine filling the vessels in which it is in; in srat al-Qitl [it is said], and rivers of wine [Q. 47;15].

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

And a cup Dihaq.

Ibn Abbas said, "Continuously filled."

Ikrimah said, "Pure."

Mujahid, Al-Hasan, Qatadah, and Ibn Zayd all said,
دِهَاقاً
(Dihaq)

"This means completely filled."

Then Allah says,

لاَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا كِذَّابًا
